Thanks Paul. I had a look on google maps and it’s a fair way inland. If there is, I’d say you’ll be looking at trout up there and maybe Australian Bass
Thanks Brian! That's awesome to hear, i often wonder how our techniques would go over there and vice versa. I don't see many videos from the US/Canada fishing these finesse techniques, more power-fishing for bass i guess...Even the crappie fishermen seem to go quite heavy on the jigheads
@@PaulMalovFishing I use 1/16oz and 1/8oz at times of heavy wind or water deeper that 12 feet. 3/32oz has been getting some use as well. I think my regular swimming retrieve and my lift, shake, pause and swim might catch me a Bream or two. Save me a seat on your boat if I ever convince the wife to let me come for a month. You always have a seat on my boat if you ever make your way to the States mate.
Mumpkinseed?!? Is this a new colour? I've got midnight oil but didnt know there was motor oil pumpkinseed. Or are you confusing it with the watermelon?
Haha this would be the unofficial name that we have come up with for bleeding Motoroil over the Pumpkinseed colour! Creates a UV pumpkinseed finish basically :)
Hi Youssef, i'd pop in to the local tackle store or BCF and see what they have in that range. Would look for something from Abu Garcia/Daiwa/Shimano that felt good in the hand and matched up to your reel in terms of weight/balance
Got to love a mid week fishing fix. Thanks for taking us along for the ride. Great work as usual Paul:)
Thank you mate!
Cracking session mate, is such an interesting little system. Love how one cast you can catch a tiny bream and next could be a big perch 👌
Thanks buddy, absolutely! I fished it about a week after you got your big EP so was hoping to repeat that, but no luck that trip
You make it look so easy mate, well done. Loved your work with Greg Vinal Monday night. Fantastic advice made easy to understand for us newbies. 🎣👊
Thanks Terry! Some mornings they're just on, but a sensitive rod helps immense pick up those little ticks
Another quality informative production!
Thanks Brett! Appreciate it mate
There are some good drains along there - most never get a lot of pressure, but hold a lot of decent fish. Good work mate.
Absolutely! Thanks buddy. Looking forward to getting back up there in Summer
I just subscribed and liked from Oregon. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching and subscribing!
@@PaulMalovFishing you’re welcome.
Another awesome video Paul ✌️
Thanks Rob, appreciate it mate!
Awesome as always mate, well done!
Thanks Scott, appreciate it mate
Nice bud, I need a yak 😂. I love that system but sometimes with the wind it's tough going land based. Great vid 👍.
Thanks Dan, absolutely! As we chatted, a yak makes life a lot easier in there
Nice one Paul. 👍
Thank you mate!
Great video Paul, is there much/any fish in the Hopkins river around Hexham
Thanks Paul. I had a look on google maps and it’s a fair way inland. If there is, I’d say you’ll be looking at trout up there and maybe Australian Bass
As usual awesome video mate! I could so get that grub fishing technique....Exact same I use in the fresh here!!!!

That was a great session ,I just got my first Hobie pro angler today ,can't wait for the maiden voyage
Awesome mate, where are you based? Hope you get to wet it soon and catch some fish
@@PaulMalovFishing I'm an hour from Canberra ,took the Hobie out, didn't catch anything but i absolutely loved it
Great video
Thanks Ben, appreciate it!
nice! would small bream eat the 2.5 inch zman grubz
They do mate, but if the fish are under 30cm, the 2" grub will probably be better!
Great video 🤙
Thanks Steve!
