    Great video Paul and congrats on the win mate! It’s definitely exciting casting lightly weighted plastics over those rocks and snagging those bream tucked up in there! Ben and I did it with crabbies a few years back for a YH comp, good fun

      Thanks Jack, I wouldn’t normally, but given we were going to sit there in the one spot on Saturday and sharing it with another team it made sense. Especially with the hard rock and the signals bouncing all over the place. It’s one of those 1%ers

    Firstly congrats on the win, well done. Just a couple of questions, do you hace c-map reveal on your Lowrance units if so do they give any extra infor fir rivers/lakes/dams etc o er the standard c-maps. 2nd question do you have a vhf installed if so where have you installed the antenna read that the gps in the sounder can cause interference with the vhf if installed to near each other

    • @PaulMalovFishing
      @PaulMalovFishing  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey mate. I don’t use the camo reveal any more personally. Most/all the places we fish are pretty much mapped now with inbuilt CMaps so that’s more than enough for me. I normally do a lot of my research on google earth to find areas then look visually/sound around when I get there. And 2. No VHF/antenna installed on the boat

      Thanks for the quick reply, just setting the boat up, installing all the electronics myself, minn kota, lithium battery on board charger, vhf etc, haven't had it the water yet. Much appreciate the info share. Regards Col

    What’s your thought in the live scope Barry?
    Worth the money?

    • @PaulMalovFishing
      @PaulMalovFishing  ปีที่แล้ว

      Live imaging is good - depends what species you’re chasing. Bream it’s ok/a nice to have.
      Bass/cod/Barra - it helps 💯

    Hi mate, just watching a few of your videos you've had the renegade for a fair while now by the looks of it, you still rate it mate? You do much offshore fishing in her? I have a big glass boat and tossing up between the renegade or a fishabout. Cheers mate

      Hey Geoff. Yep still fishing from the 460SC with the estuary transom - think they only do the offshore transoms now. But overall still love the boat, it’s a brilliant all round.
      We still do a lot more estuary work and I’d still love a Hornet 481/115hp for that work - which would still get you offshore safely and back on a good day.
      Have been out a few times offshore and it’s always been a very safe and comfortable trip. Once again, we pick the weather days but have never once felt unsafe. Guess it comes down to what kind of fishing you do most of….

      Thanks mate. I went and looked at one today and once you sit in one you don't realize just how big they are and appreciate how much room for a few blokes to fish. I love both offshore and estuary/bay fishing but in my old fibreglass 5.2m boat fishing the small stuff is pretty hard.
