The issue the symbiote had was it loved peter so much it didnt want to see him hurt. So it tried to get peter to stand up for himself, but instead of making his consciousness known to communicate it just made peter focus on his problems and not come up with a calm solution.
I did always wish there was a version of venom where he didn't go crazy and evil. Where the two worked together. Understanding each other and being able to help. Imagine Peter being able to talk with the symbiote. Get advice from it or see from a new perspective or vice versa. As in actual symbiosis.
I believe if he kept it he could have resisted it's manipulations and turned it to good. It should have been his responsibility to make it good not just discard it for someone who's much less pure than him to have
Peter is one of the most determined and humbled heroes in the Marvel universe. Peter must constantly pull his punches back so he won’t injure or kill someone. The fact that he is hated and bullied by almost EVERYONE in the Marvel universe ranges from people in his personal life, such as Peter Parker, to the hero and villain communities, such as Spider-Man. Peter constantly reminds himself that he can’t slip or cross that line, and Peter ACKNOWLEDGES that he HAS a dark side and has to keep underneath the surface so that he won’t snap and become the worst person he could become. The Venom symbiote wants to help Peter, but when the symbiote begins to corrupt Peter slowly by twisting his morals and ideas about being Spider-Man, Peter eventually discards the symbiote because he notices that it is turning him into someone he is not.
In the comic where Peter dies and rejects to be reborn by the spider god, the symbiote felt his death and went after him and brought him back. The symbiote is in love with Peter that it left the current venom host who wasn’t Eddie Brock and went after Peter’s corps. So that shows how much it’s in love with Peter.
I'd say it's a bit of both. I do think the symbiote encouraged Peter to lower his restrictions on himself and access more of his power but not all of it (a full powered punch from Spiderman is an instant kill). Instead more like a small percentage of both, a small enough amount that Peter just assumed that the suit made him stronger rather than him instinctively using more of his own power. I'd say that in an alternate world where Peter gave himself over to the symbiote completely he would have become an immediate Avengers level threat and possibly could even beat the entire team by himself.
The suit does make him stronger. alot stronger actually look what it did with harry he was weak sick human then after he got it he had spiderman lvl physical attributes without it Going onto spiderman and He had the symbiotes haxs and abilities the tentacles and etc It boosted him alot. when peter got it in the ps5 game spiderman 2 it actually stopped the poison aswell he could make giant tentacles and cover an entire Whole place with tentacles covered in symbiote tentacles the symbiote not only boost ur strength and everything else by 2x it’s also immune to fire in the new game and only weakness is high sound waves and electricity venom not only makes him more aggressive because peter corrupted it with his negavite emotions bc ppl still hated him in the city and jjj He held back less and became more brutal with also the power boost don’t underrate the symbiote to overrate spiderman. Eddie brock went from a normal person to being able to beat spiderman down and even kill him and overpower him so many times
@@tacomunxher Here's the thing. The symbiote is the most inconsistently written thing in the Marvel universe. In some realities the symbiote wasn't even all that concious, just existing while in others the symbiote is actively malicious. The symbiote got this strong because Peter was strong. Yes, it made others stronger but Peter himself is already an avengers level threat, bro literally moved while being forcefully held down by both Hulk and Thor in Superior. The symbiote in Amazing as far as I think is both a small power boost but mostly something that allows Peter to just let go of his limits, as seen in his fight against the Red Goblin.
@@Kek393Also peter isn’t the perfect host for so many reasons it’s eddie brock even after their shared the hatred they were able to help people eddie could control it unlike spiderman he could control the bloodlust he even stopped killing people in other universe where peter died eddie brock became spiderman. Eddie is the perfect host give harry a bit more experience i’d say he is since in the ultimate spiderman he could make carnage peter give the symbiote to himself and he controlled it because he wanted to kill his dad and managed to actually easily get it off. and he also showed impressive control at first it was when he started tweakin bc he wanted his fathers notice that he got out of hand
Thing is in Venom comics it turns out Peter Parker was supposed to be the Venom host and be the King in Black after Knull was defeated but due to Peter rejecting it the title and never ending loop was given to Eddie Brock as it turned out Eddie's future self created a loop situation leading Eddie to become the King of Black and to eventually take his future self's position with Peter presumably doing the same thing to if he gained a true bond with the Venom symbiote.
Perhaps the perfect bond Venom symbiotes can achieve is with Spider-Person after all. Anyways, aside from Venom symbiote changing Peter's personality 1st time they were bonded. During Carnageized Green Goblin arc, Peter and Venom symbiote were reunited. It wasn't like previous time. Peter and Venom symbiote managed to handle together without conflict. Last of thier bond time spent. Peter didn't reject it again, instead told it to clear away from the flames in peaceful way. That shows deep down Peter as Spider-Man and Venom symbiote can maybe have perfect symbiosis
I know there are various story’s about what if spider-man kept the venom suit but if we look at it there are probably two ways this plays out. 1st is probably spider become a punisher like hero that probably takes someone like the avengers to take down if they need to. 2nd is if Spider-Man convinces the symbiot to work with him instead of trying to kill his rouges gallery. He might actually have been a more effective Spider-Man to the point his villain teaming up was their only option to fight him on even footing.
The issue was the symbiote feeding on peters repressed anger and frustration. Even if it was a neutral symbiote like Toxin it still wouldve ended the same. The whole blacks suit arc is peter confronting and dealing with all his repressed feelings. He emotionally and literally physically has been pulling his punches for years. It feeds on negative emotions as a whole, no matter how heroic Peter at the end of the day, hes still beating the shit out of people. Which you cant exactly do in a perfectly positive and happy state of mind, theres going to be a bit of negativity and anger under the surface no matter how many quips and jokes you throw in. He would've always eventually turned and become a threat no matter what with the symbiote
The thing is that klyntar (Venom's race) are a benevolent race that want to bond with heroes in order to empower them into being better heroes. It is only when they bond with those that aren't moral does things go wrong as they become corrupted. I'm not sure if it still cannon but Deadpool had managed to get his hands on Venom first infecting him with his madness corrupting Venom from his purpose. If peter was able to bond with a uncorrupted Venom then i can safely say that he would become one of the strongest heroes on the planet however i can still see Peter going down a dark path in the future with the more lives he fails to save. Peter would be so determined to prevent more loss of life and the anger that he keep bottled inside at how unfair his life is that it would eventually bleed into Venom corrupting him into doing anything to save more people and making his life better.
I remember having marvel trading cards when I was a little kid, 30 ish years ago, and it said his symbiote suit greatly enhanced his strength making it possible for him to hurt hulk and Thor with his punches. They were still stronger but couldn’t tank his punches like they sometimes show being done. I think spectacular Spider-Man showed this in a simple way by jumping much farther then he usually can and saying that jump should have been impossible or was way farther than he ever jumped before, something like that. And it’s a writer thing like a lot of people’s power set. I wish I still had those cards, lost them in one of our moves as a kid😢.
Hurting Hulk is far above Spiderman's pay grade. In actual comic canon, Spiderman has tried to hurt Hulk and couldn't put a dent in him. Hulk's skin is too durable for Spidey to harm.
Having a symbiote like Venom can be hit or miss depending on what kind of person you are. Especially in the newer incarnations where the symbiote affects your behaviour by essentially removing any filter you may have on your thoughts and emotions. Or in the original comic where it takes control of your body while you sleep and does what you’d normally do, leading to a feeling of exhaustion over time. It’s not inherently malicious though and if it can tell something it’s doing is taking a toll on your health it will stop (maybe not forever but long enough for you to recover). If you don’t mind that then all that’s left is feeding it, chocolate and brains are ideal
Hes perfect cuz the Symbiote loves to corrupt and with Spidey being all about "With great power, comes great responsibility" and always sacrificing himself to help others and wanting to do whats right... While also secretly carrying so much pain and suffering just waiting to come out, Symbiote is the key to unleash it all and overwrite his humble nature. Tho even then he still somewhat has enough control when being corrupted, to not let the symbiote 100% take over. Once it found a new host being fuled by rage, it was able to use everything it absorbed from spidey, install it into the new host and take full control and showing off his true potential. Spidey was the perfect host cuz the Symbiote knew if it were to ever get rejected, itd be strong enough to overpower its new host and be unstoppable.
I would just like to day, the symbiote isnt initially an evil creature. It does what the host desires as it wants to make its host happy. Because Symbiotes like venom cannot live without a host. Look at some of the version of Eddie Brock. He eventually was able to be a good guy and grwo with venom. Its all about how the Symbiote learns, as it learns from its hosts.
Venom's lethal protector phase, as you said in the end, actually came from Venom taking it as a challenge to show Spider-Man that he can do whatever Spider-Man can do and better. Hence that
It didn't have a evil or crazy cell in its body. Until Dead Pool put the poor thing on. Good ol' Pool thought the suit was the best thing ever, until it started talking to him... Then he was like "Wait, this thing is bonding with MY mind?!! Shit-Fuck gottta get it off for it's own good. I'm sooo sorry." A few panels later "Heya Spidey! Your suit got wrecked too? There is this awesome vending machine back there!" And so spidey met venom for the first time. It's been re-written a few times since, but that is the underlying reason why Venom is completely nutters. Dead Pool's mind is so messed up that he's effectively immune to mind control because a new personality takes over every few seconds. Even Prof. X refused to read Dead Pool's mind.
There is two comic books in which Peter keeps the black suit. The first one he dies and Felicia kills the symbiote, while the second one the black suit evolves into a Peter’s version of venom suit, which takes the story into a pseudo: Web of shadow storyline in which Mr.Fantastic dies and Peter becomes the new member of the fantastic four.
What pisses me off is that they REFUSE to do a story where he becomes Venom That is something I was hoping for in Spider-Man 2. Would of been fresh and just awesome
Originally, Venom personality was born out of combined hatred of Eddie Brock and symbiote, the symbiote itself isn't Venom (wasn't at least). Changing a recipe of creating Venom, you would end up with a different personality, which happened in what if where Peter kept the symbiote and became Poison. P.S. None of this is consistent and was retconed dozens of times.
All Spiderman really had to do eas have a sit down with the symbiote. Think about it, the thing has intellect, can learn, it just dosen't have human wisdom and empathy, it has to learn those traits too. Meaning in the end, all Peter really had to do is find a way to TALK to the Sybiote and come to an agreement. Stripping himself of the suit was the wrong choice, always was in my opinion. It's like having a kid, they watch you do something like... wash the dishes, cook, switch a light bulb, whatever. They proceed to attempt that thing and mess it up horribly, maybe even breaking something expensive. Are you gonna grab the kid, set them outside, and lock the door? Hell no, you're gonna sit them down, talk to them, appreciate their efforts, but tell them it isn't their time yet and they need to focus on the things they can do instead.
That Spider-Man is based off the ultimate universe. The black suit wasn’t even an alien but a suit invented by Peter’s dad which was supposed to cure disease. It doesn’t possess its host it just consumes its body instead until it is just a lifeless husk, so they have to consume other people to keep it from eating the host. So in the game madam web uses powers to keep the suit from eating him. I did not intend on writing this much I don’t even know why I’m still typing.
@@iamfunnierthan2476 In the ultimate universe it was only Eddie that was being eaten by the suit, because it was keyed to Richard Parker’s DNA, for Peter it amped up his aggression to an insane degree as it was designed to protect its user at all costs, Peter literally gets beaten up everyday as a hero, it was working on overdrive, which made it go nuts, go figure
tbh Im tired of them always making the symbiote suit corrupt peter, would be nice to see a run where Him and Venom actually come to an agreement to hold back but still use this newfound power to do good, the symbiote itself wasnt the problem but it heightens emotions so the things peter was having issues with were always there its just more amplified due to the symbiote buffing everything. would be nice to see a game where he actually can stay in control, shame they keep going the, peter loses control and loses the suit route, would be nice to see something actually unique and different like him keeping it and staying in control of his emotions.
Best example is the game Spiderman: Web of Shadow. It allows you to pick being just Spiderman or Symbiote Spiderman and each end is different and the girl you're with is also differently (MJ or Blackcat)
The symbiote isnt evil, for instance when harry used it as agent venom in sm2 he wasnt violent, at all. The symbiote only picked up anger from peter, monkey see monkey do. The only reason it is "evil" is because peter has serious issues. It only picked up said issues
So literally only Peter Parker is able to not go crazy from the fact that God shits on his breakfast every morning of his life? Anyone else tries to deal with that, and they eventually lash out.
His insomniac verse is depressing. In the first game, he had no home and no one to talk to at one point. He thought Harry was on vacation and that was his best friend, MJ and him broke up and the only people he actually interacted with was doc Octavius and aunt may. As soon as those people left his life, it felt very empty for him. Even with mj getting back together you could tell he still wasn’t happy. I feel like miles, even though he was a new friend, really changed Peter. He finally got to talk to someone that wasn’t his partner and just as a friend. Then Harry comes back, and then he feels like his whole life is back together and could actually live a normal life. Then he lost him, again, and he thinks it’s his fault as Norman blames him. He holds so much guilt and sadness, it’s insane. It seems like his only actual friend is miles. And he does this all while the world hates him. The loss of aunt may and his mentor dr octavius just made him be a different man
Venom with Spiderman is ridiculously overpowered. Few superheros on this level. Both augmented each others powers. Basically a whole superhero team all in one.
They basically explained it in the video. The symbiote sees Peter as an equal and wants to enhance the powers that Peter already has. That's why it takes the shape of a Spiderman suit. When it takes over a regular human, the symbiote basically has to take control and that's why it manifests into venom
I think it depends on who the symbiote chooses as a host it deemed spiderman as a perfect host because it basically was a fan of him and what he could do hints why it bonded with him in the first place but when spiderman rejected him it deemed eddy as a perfect host because of the hatred it had towards him but there was a time when it bonded with other people in the spider verse for other reasons for instance the spectacular spiderman (correct me if I’m wrong) it bonds with flash Thompson and became agent venom and when they did studies on him it was literally synced perfectly with him to the point of they were inseparable and venom said it himself there are so many symbiotes in different universes that share the same experience due to the hive mind and we know that the games tie in the miles morales spiderman (spoilers if you haven’t finished the spiderman 2 game) and we know that that universe ties into every spiderman universe (if you haven’t seen the movie watch it and pay close attention to every detail in that movie) im saying all this to say that depending on what universe venom is in and depending on who he deems is the perfect host will determine which character venom would deem the appropriate host for him
Hopefully we to a point where the writers can cut Peter some slack I know he is only a fictional character but he is one of the most relatable and lovable fictional characters Spiderman can be anyone that's what makes him so special compared to other heros
My theory is Spider-Man's strength level works similar to dragon Ball Z's kaioken. His strength is infinite based off his anger like character like broly or the Hulk. Spider-Man doesn't get Zenkai boost after taking damage like Saiyans or I believe the MCU version the asgardians. So I think Spider-Man strength works off whatever is base level is whether it's 15 or 25 tons then work that of the kaio-ken logic of the x2 to x20 multiplier then Spider-Man strength makes sense with the inconsistencies in power level.
That theory is nonsense. His His strength isn't infinite, nor does he get a zenkai boost of any kind. He's street level in terms of power, with or without the symbiote. He doesn't believe in killing due to his moral compass. He holds back as a result. Try reading a Spiderman comic.
THE THIRD PERFECT HOST, I IMAGINE FOR VENOM, TO BE SHOWN IN THE M.C.U. EARTH-616 REALM SOMEDAY: That 3rd. perfect match, I imagine is SPIDER-KID, and I imagine secret identity name is (Jeremiah Green). I imagine he is a clone, of dead Peter Parker, of the M.C.U. Earth-616 Realm. I also imagine that, he was raised in an old branch, of S.H.I.E.L.D. that was, once thought abandoned, and shutdown. But instead it was secretly funded by Agent Nick Fury, and the scientist he left in charge, is his younger half sister. Who I imagine is a widowed woman, whose husband died in an accident, two months before, he approached her. And I imagine she has a daughter, but she had a falling out with her, and so they rarely talk each other. I imagine much later that Nick Fury’s half sister, she develops a genuine caring bond, with the clone boy, and she later decides to personally raise him. I imagine she kept, the last-name of her dead husband, that is GREEN, and I imagine her full name is (Dawn Amara Green). Now I imagine at some point, the genetic cells of JEREMIAH, become unstable, and Dr.Green starts to panic. Then through tones of files, she comes across notes on, the Venom symbiote, that once was on Peter Parker, and on (Miles Morales). In addition the Venom symbiote, was once on Eddie Brock, and is currently on (Agent Flash Thompson). So then Dr.Green got the idea, to collect a sample of Venom, in order to hopefully save Jeremiah’s life, by having that sample bond with him. She then puts that sample on JEREMIAH, after she tested it on a chimpanzee, that revealed no dangerous side effects. I imagine it took a few hours, for her prayers to be answered, once it did child Venom, became a genuine good friend with JEREMIAH. And the two work very well together, this sample of Venom, it genuinely cares for JEREMIAH, and not only that it makes improvements to his unstable genetic cells structure. From improving Jeremiah’s healing abilities, to strengthening his immune system, and more positive improvements like those.
I think that's fair. Peter is ungodly strong vs. the threats he has to face all of the symbiotes hosts don't compare. But its something else. Peter's discpline and selfless nature holds back a special kind of darkness. Most individuals give in to those darker inhibitions where with an Eddie Brock or other individual those selfish actions are like....bread or water. But not Peter. Peter's own anguish, rage, and sorrow are like 5 star meals for the symbiote. Or a better food analogy it's like wine aged perfection. Always bottled up. Rarely unleashed if at all. Its not Peter's altered DNA the symbiote craves. It's Peter's own thoughts and feelings.
When Peter used like 3% more pwr than he usually does, when he slapped Kingpin a single slap was TEARING SKINS, FLESH, AND TENDONS! That was barely using more pwr than usual! When Doc Ock took over Pete’s body he took off Scorpions jaw w/ one punch, I can only imagine what he could do w/ 100% pwr. His clone, Kain Parker, doesn’t hold back, and defeated Carnage! While holding back, Peter has given Kain a hard time (keep in mind Kain soloed Peter and his other clone, Ben, at the same time, but I believe a full pwr Pete could beat Kain) so imagine what Peter could do when he stops holding back, if Kain could beat Carnage than Pete could giving ppl like Hulk a hard time! Idk if full pwr Pete could beat Hulk ( I doubt it) but it would most likely be very close. Once, Peter from earth 1610 knocked out Miles with one punch, and tanked Miles venom like a toy, he was practically unfazed. 1610 Peter is slightly weaker than 616 Peter, so 616 could do this to, keep in mind while holding back. Imagine a pissed, bloodlusted Peter. Great vid man!
Venom is power. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Venom is merely a reflection of what could become of Spider-Man if he lost track of what keeps him a hero. Venom is neither good nor bad, alike to a gun. It has the power to kill, but you can use it for good.
Since the symbiote is an alien he doesnt understand morality, and sees what Peter REALLY wants to say and do all the time,he isnt inside a monster but rapidly gets tires, but he's morality and patience makes him not do anything, the symbiote sees that Peter gets frustrated for not being able to do what he wants, really deep on himself, and the symbiote makes him reléase all that, striping off the morality of Peter to make him happier
With his already super human strength and speed and spider sense it makes the symbiote just disgustingly powerful even tho normal spider man is already so strong he has to hold back all the time without the symbiote bro is capable of punching people heads off imagine symbiote spider man not holding back
Venom was toxicly in love with Peter it wanted the best for Peter by all means it wanted the world to give him what he deserved but venom is an alien and didn’t understand yet it didn’t understand why peter wouldn’t let it help him why peter wouldn’t love it back and become one this is a natural thing for venom to become one for venom is to love and understand the other person like with Eddie and venom in the movies. Venom doesn’t understand why it’s greed and uncaring nature for all it doesn’t love hurts it’s host. Venom in these recent iterations only wants the best by all means for its host.
nobody can stay at max indefinitely, unless your superman, or maybe somebody with unlimited healing power greater than what Spider-Man has. i agree though, Spider-Man is one of the strongest, as you say, "street level" heroes in that universe. and if venom, as a symbiote, lends him "energy" to fight, he could stay at max perhaps for the entirety of a fight, (especially since he does have some healing ability that is greater than human for sure) or almost any length of time he would practically need, theoretically, in a fight or a mission, but probably not in my mind literally all the time. realistically
Symbiotes collect the information from previous host if peter was the only and first host probably all the agression would be peter's fault, the symbiote is just a child doing the best to his parents but because of the lack of previous morals it creates a spider man who stops a little of holding back and starts to put himself first a lot
In the actual comics the symbiote didn’t affect Peters strength or personality. Peter was freaked out that it was taking control of his body while he was asleep and he went to Reed Richard’s to check it out. Reed told him the suit was alive and got it off from Peter. Peter went home but the symbiote pretended to be Peters old red and blue suit and when he put it on the symbiote pounced and revealed itself. Peter tried to figure out a way to get rid of the symbiote while fighting of a bunch of Vulture wannabes. He uses the bell tower to get rid of the symbiote but Peter is rendered unconscious due to all the strength he used up to get it off. As the sound was about to kill him the symbiote gets him out of the way of the bell tower saving his life. It then bonds with Eddie Brock a disgraced reporter who lost his job after it was revealed that the Sin Eater he outed wasn’t the real Sin Eater and in fact the real Sin Eater was a cop called Stan Carter.
I never understand why they always made venom evil or never talk to peter like eddie when they are together. There is a bond between venom and peter and they do make a perfect match so they could just do it so that its a balance. Peter being the good cop and venom being the bad cop but both learn from each other and help people. You'd think that with peter being venoms first host that he would turn out good since peter is a good guy but at the time was just depressed. Venom shouldn't have turned out bad from being with peter at all
I do recall somewhere that the symbiotes as a species are known to inherit traits from their previous hosts. The venom symbiote had apparently bonded to a genocidal maniac and...deadpool. So makes sense the symbiote was a bit evil. But by that argument. Perhaps in time, the symbiote could have adopted Spidey's sense of morality and good. And perhaps they could have become a truly powerful duo with no corrupting influence.
my guess was always that peter had to much of a strong will and sense of justice for the symbiote to take him over so it slowly started to influence him so at a later date it could finally take him over
If Venom learnt from Peter, that means Tom Hardy's venom wouldn't be immune to spider sense, as that version of venom has never met or bonded with Spider-Man. Also explains why he didn't have his logo as in the comics Venom's logo was inspired by Spider-Man.
What venom was truly trying to do was actually help peter as a whole peter bottles up his true feeling believing no one actually cares the only one who did are dead being his uncle and aunt mj never going to understand and half the time she breaking up with him and blaming him for everything when she new what she was getting into when she chose to date him at best they symbiote was trying to let him let out his agression to try and balance his mental state more than he actally thought
No its not the symbiote its his thoughts when you think about it there are alot of reasons peter can be evil the symbiote learned hatred from peter i played the game and when harry had the symbiote he had no side effects but when peter got it he turned evil so actually its not the symbiote fault its peters
I’d say flash Thompson is actually the perfect host of the venom symbiote. By the end of their run together they lived in perfect symbioses it was only the choice of the writers to make eddy the host again. Agent venom only resembles Spider-Man because flash Thompson is a massive Spider-Man nerd. We also find out that venom isn’t inherently evil it was because of previous hosts that polluted his personality once he and flash achieved true symbioses venom is no longer evil to any degree
Not only did Peter Parker/Spider-Man outsmart Tony Stark/Iron Man and Hank Pym/The First Ant Man. But also Reed Richards/Mr Fantastic. AKA the smartest person on earth. In one comic. Mr Fantastic and Iron Man were having trouble with a massive bomb 💣. They couldn't even figure out how to delay it. Between the 2 of them. Spider-Man took one look at it. He was able to find a way to delay the bomb long enough for the others to find a way to disarm it. Goes to show smart Pete is. Peter Parker the Spectacular Spider-Man is the perfect combination between brains and brawn. Defeating the Fantastic Four, the Sinister Six, the Incredible Hulk and Regent. Able to lift 129.8 tonnes, hold 1600 tonnes on each hand at the same time and can attack with 50 tonnes of force. Not to mention he can run up to 200 miles per hour. Peter passed these abilities to his daughter. Anna May Parker. Then using special technology. Peter's wife. Mary Jane is able to borrow his powers. Though it does weaken him a little bit. Annie took the codename "Spiderling". MJ got the codename "Spinneret". They now fight crime as the Spider-Parker Family Trio. At one point the symbiote actually tried to take control of MJ. Doing to her what it did to Peter. Making her become more aggressive to Pete and Annie.
obviously Peter cant have the symbiote in this point of story, emphasis on obviously it's like ancient history at this point, but I'd like to see Peter have a one on one conversation with the Venom, to have apologies be exchanged, and for peter to admit that he didn't really handle the revelation of Venom's existence very kindly or responsibly, and that talking things out was the first thing they should have done in the first place instead of doing all sorts of vengeance riggamaroll, shake hands or maybe even hug, then depart back into their own lives so they can both move on from the past. It'd really show that both characters have done a lot of growing since then. It also feels really weird how there aren't very many instances of Peter treating the symbiote like its own conscious being, more like an animal.
There are comics in which Eddie Brock and Venom are antiheroes (I'm almost sure he spared a villain's life), Is there no Black Suit Peter Parker that does the same?
Has there ever been an instance where peter had turned full on venom? I mesn like, a big, hulking symbiote like we see in the venom movies & the spiderman 2 game by insomniac
Venom chose Peter because of his powers and also because how he lost uncle Ben he didn’t want Peter to lose no one but the only way Venom saw that was Thur killing
what if they were able to grow together. peter letting go of his doubt and restraints and his guilt, and the symbiote gaining more human emotions and learning the values that uncle ben gave peter. it would be like the movie venom and its relationship with eddie in that universe.
We all adore and love spider man spider strength emotions able to have two girlfriends and girl attraction rage wolverine almost revival healing like wolverine lost hurt pain I know just how he feels Peter Parker feels just like he is me privately
Peter was a 99% match, but once it finally talked to Peter he freaked and got rid of him. Venom tried to help Peter be Spider-Man and wanted to help Peter become more confidant. Peter rejected Venom because he was scared that Venom was evil, this caused Venom to hate Spider-Man because Venom felt betrayed. This is why I love Venom. He's not evil, just confused, scared and hurt all at the same time
I think it did provide some strength atleast in first cartoon variant as he declares he is feeling far stronger and he was able to go faster now sure obviously he might be feeling stronger because he unintentionally holding back less but his speed? I think that actually shows venom giving him a boost but its not a significant. Its a slight boost compared to peter's strength since they are on par at that indivisually.
Symbiote copies dna, so he was wearing a skinsuit made out of himself, giving him at least a 2× multiplier in strenght, and the symbiote can add mass to boost his strenght so he can easy get a 10× multiplier if he goes hulk sized. It gets groser the more you think about it. A semi-liquid suit made out of your own dna *shivers*
The issue the symbiote had was it loved peter so much it didnt want to see him hurt. So it tried to get peter to stand up for himself, but instead of making his consciousness known to communicate it just made peter focus on his problems and not come up with a calm solution.
exactly
Sort of right, but eh.
It should have been his responsibility to make it good not just discard it for someone who's much less pure than him to have
Him teaching Venom to "quip" :D
Isnt there an entire comic line where venom travels to space and helps people until he encounters knull?
Um no
read the comics then that's literally what happened lol
It seems more like obsessed more than anything
oh i remember that one, he tries to convert MJ. He ended up converting Gwen's corpse.
Spider-man: Spiders Shadow by Chip Zdarsky. The reality where he kept it. Good read. Check it out man.
You do know there has been times he has already beat the avengers
I definitely like this comment lol
There’s a comic where he becomes his version of venom. The black suit evolves into a venom suit when Peter saw hobgoblin kills Aunt May.
@@ksd12345100he still leaves it at the end tho. We want one were he keeps it from start to finish
This was one of the best videos on Peter and the symbiote's relationship that I've seen thus far in my 28 years of being a Spidey fan.
When you let a symbiote take over you, you become something dangerous. Spider-Man knew this, which led to him rejecting the symbiote.
I think if Peter had full control he would be unstoppable
It really depends on the symbiotes previous hosts. Symbiotes are not evil they just take traits from hosts and live with it
They could just find an agreement. Symbiote loved him as a host, they had a bond
In the original comics venom actually never wanted to control Peter at all
@@chetankalyanreddyarabandi2818yep symbiote really wanted to help peter by solving crime at night so he would take it easy
The Symbiote was basically a new born baby who learned anger and pain from Peter
In the comics, the symbiote certainly thought so too. And it chased him like a scorned girlfriend using Eddy Brock as its Simp Knight.
And since Peter's life is mostly miserable, Venom mostly learned to be more hatefull and violent from a world that hates his host 😥
A true all out Spiderman vs Marvel would be amazing.
Venom kinda reminds me of the hym how it feeds the feelings of grief and sadness after the host did something wrong
What pisses me off is that they REFUSE to do a story where he becomes Venom
That is something I was hoping for in Spider-Man 2. Would of been fresh and just awesome
I think peter becoming venom would be an interesting in a darker alternate universe there are comics or a what if
Look up for spider man spider's shadow is where he keeps the symbiote in one universe
Read Spider's Shadow, a what-if where he does.
Well the MCU is doing secret wars where he gets the black symbiote
He gave us the Peter dance.
I imagine a version of Peter with a perfect bond with the symbiote is the one from Spider-Man shattered dimensions.
Even in shattered Dimensions, madam Web had to use a psychic link to keep the suit from possessing him
@@beanik835 oh fr? I honestly forgotten a lot of that game
The symbiote is like that toxic ex that hook up with someone you know just to make you jealous
@@coltonwilliams4153 yes. But he pents up his rage and locks it away. Thats why the symbiote adopted it, and why it amplified it
His insomniac verse is depressing.
I love venom so much. And he absolutely hates peter because he rejected venom. One of spideys best villains
Venom actually wanted to hell in most lore
The Venom symbiote actually loves Peter. But the idea of revenge stems from the spiteful emotions of an ex.
If you want to see how far he can go with Venom see Spiders Shadow.
The answer to what would've happened if Peter never took the symbiote off is answered in Chip Zdarsky's Spider's Shadow.
I wonder why it never just straight up made him into venom but just gives him a black suit
Because originally it was supposed to be just that, a black Spider-Man suit. The fans just didn’t like it which is why he got rid of it in the story.
They basically explained it in the video. The symbiote sees Peter as an equal and wants to enhance the powers that Peter already has. That's why it takes the shape of a Spiderman suit. When it takes over a regular human, the symbiote basically has to take control and that's why it manifests into venom
I think it depends on who the symbiote chooses as a host it deemed spiderman as a perfect host because it basically was a fan of him and what he could do hints why it bonded with him in the first place but when spiderman rejected him it deemed eddy as a perfect host because of the hatred it had towards him but there was a time when it bonded with other people in the spider verse for other reasons for instance the spectacular spiderman (correct me if I’m wrong) it bonds with flash Thompson and became agent venom and when they did studies on him it was literally synced perfectly with him to the point of they were inseparable and venom said it himself there are so many symbiotes in different universes that share the same experience due to the hive mind and we know that the games tie in the miles morales spiderman (spoilers if you haven’t finished the spiderman 2 game) and we know that that universe ties into every spiderman universe (if you haven’t seen the movie watch it and pay close attention to every detail in that movie) im saying all this to say that depending on what universe venom is in and depending on who he deems is the perfect host will determine which character venom would deem the appropriate host for him
It’s an iconic story line i loved spider man 3
Hopefully we to a point where the writers can cut Peter some slack I know he is only a fictional character but he is one of the most relatable and lovable fictional characters Spiderman can be anyone that's what makes him so special compared to other heros
Comics say the reason Peter has such intense anger issues is because he is just about the least compatible host venom could have
Physically? They’re made for each other. Emotionally? They mix like oil and water.
I hope you come back to do more MCU videos! You’re my favorite breakdown/theory channel
More to come!
EXCELLENT WORK.
@@themarvelouswave1948I want know about the Redioactive spider and the web of life and destiny
It’s a comic on what would happen if Peter kept venom
I still think it’s wild that Pete was originally destined to become TKIB, ‘d love to see an What If on that
Spider-Man 2 was such an amazing game and the suit saved Peter from dying and insomniac Games did an amazing job with the symbiote
This version of spiderman is literally everything that keeps JJJ awake at night
Honestly, it was a possibility to have powers would be a dream come true
That would be cool if it was the case. I wouldn't mind this.
THE THIRD PERFECT HOST, I IMAGINE FOR VENOM, TO BE SHOWN IN THE M.C.U. EARTH-616 REALM SOMEDAY:
That 3rd. perfect match, I imagine is SPIDER-KID, and I imagine secret identity name is (Jeremiah Green).
I'd like to see a what-if where the symbiote learned from peter to be a good guy
This was a great video. I think that you hit the relationship between Peter and the symbiote on the nose.
It's Peter's own thoughts and feelings.
and what if he was wearing it embracing the spider totem without any fear + venom, it will be a very unique thing
"what if spiderman fully embraced the symbiote" would be a GREAT "What if..?" episode.
I want to see him and that symbiote get along so badly.
There's a comic where Peter never broke free. Dude was a menace.
That's true he can get stabbed or shot but he heals similar to wolverine
Hey this is the matrix and star wars guy
Now I know why Peter makes jokes while fighting stay positive my friends❤❤
Wait a minute, I swear you sound like a sithlord I know 😮
OMG....luv dis video. I never knew these things!
my guess was always that peter had to much of a strong will and sense of justice for the symbiote to take him over so it slowly started to influence him so at a later date it could finally take him over
It picked Peter for a reason
And...I instantly got a Spiderman Game Ad 😂
I think it would still take Peter beyond the 50k, but the question, how much further would the symbiote take him? 55? 60? Higher?
If Venom learnt from Peter, that means Tom Hardy's venom wouldn't be immune to spider sense, as that version of venom has never met or bonded with Spider-Man. Also explains why he didn't have his logo as in the comics Venom's logo was inspired by Spider-Man.
spiderman is the best superhero of all time.
Bro respect
In a comic where he keep it, Venom just ate him from the inside until Peter died.
Damn
I would love to see a issue with a happy ending with the black suit
There is a comic called spider's shadow. u will find everything u need in this comic
I just love symbiotes
We smoking symbiotes!
feats > statements, peter has been shown to lift 300 tons such as the daily bugle etc.
Peter and the symbiote were always one, there’s a reason why everyone else refers to themselves as “we” when bonded to it.
obviously Peter cant have the symbiote in this point of story, emphasis on obviously it's like ancient history at this point, but I'd like to see Peter have a one on one conversation with the Venom, to have apologies be exchanged, and for peter to admit that he didn't really handle the revelation of Venom's existence very kindly or responsibly, and that talking things out was the first thing they should have done in the first place instead of doing all sorts of vengeance riggamaroll, shake hands or maybe even hug, then depart back into their own lives so they can both move on from the past.
Id love to see Spider-Man cut loose & use his full power in a movie. It doesn't even feel like he used it against Thanos
Lowered his restraints.
Both
I do hope that, if and when Tom Holland get the Symbiote, they spend more time together
So the Symbiote didn’t affect Peter that much, which means that he could do a lot of things that he does with Venom without Venom
There was a what if series of what if Spider-Man never took off the symbiote
We all adore and love spider man spider strength emotions able to have two girlfriends and girl attraction rage wolverine almost revival healing like wolverine lost hurt pain I know just how he feels Peter Parker feels just like he is me privately
If spiderman kept the symbiote, he wouldve probably became a avengers level threat if he stopped holding back. Wich is very surprising tbh
He's not evil, just confused, scared and hurt all at the same time
I think it did provide some strength atleast in first cartoon variant as he declares he is feeling far stronger and he was able to go faster
now sure obviously he might be feeling stronger because he unintentionally holding back less but his speed? I think that actually shows venom giving him a boost
but its not a significant.
Yurrrrrr🎉
Is it weird that this just made Spiderman 2 better to me
