I mean... aside from not really being functional (let's face it, most of the game itself isn't really all that functional), this is the best fucking build I've seen yet. Retire now. Again. And then come back out of retirement for "one final build" so you can blow this one out of the goddamn water too. Perfect music choice. Made it feel like I was walking around a very alive and lived-in slum of the Firefly/Serenity universe.
Well.... I'm pinning this. Because I made Mr Strong break his "No YT comment" embargo (apparently) So that in itself is an incredible achievement! "Puny human, impressed, Strong". "Strong think puny human would make good Super Mutant" 💪😂😂
Haha! Ye! And he was an absolute nightmare to work with! A total prima donna! Kept complaining about the conditions and bragging about the time he worked with Brandon Lee in The Crow! 😂😂
The atmosphere is just oozing out of the screen. Makes me want to get complete lost in the settlement, enter every house, hear every story, get all the quests hidden among the NPCs. Wonderful, beautiful work! If we only got something like this instead of Fallout 76. I literally didn’t turn on Fallout 4 for 9 months, since I made my last build, but seeing something like this really makes me feel like playing it again. I'm off to rewatch it a couple of more times. Cheers! :)
Hey man! Glad to see you're still around! Really sorry for the late reply. Been crazy busy just lately. Ye, I hear ya, on the Fallout 76 thing. What a let down! Even the building in that game is a shadow of vanilla Fallout 4 workshop mode. Such a shame. Glad you like the video though mate. And hopefully it's give you a little nudge to maybe get back to building again?? 😉😉 Always love seeing your work, man! Truly one of the greatest!
The planning behind this, the feel for the overall layout just seems so natural and it really makes sense and the buildings looks so immersive and thought out. Gosh, the techniques and the patience behind every detail, man. And last but not least, the creativity behind every decision. Splendid dude! Loving this build
Wow! Thanks, man! It's great way people like my work. But even better when people like yourself can see what's beneath the surface. There's a lot of thought that has to go into creating something like this. All my builds on my channel are complex in different ways, but the towns /cities definitely require a lot more planning. I just don't really expect many people to notice that. Thanks very much for the compliment though. Really glad you enjoyed it mate. Thanks for watching. 😊👍
its the little touches. sandbags resting on barrels. the upside down fence supports. watched it three times to take it all in and I see whats possible. inspired me again. thanks.
Thanks Andy. I pride myself on the details. Not everyone notices them though. So when people like you point them out, that really makes it all the more worthwhile. Thanks very much for watching, mate. Really gakd you enjoyed it. Appreciate it 😊👍
@@loremipsum720 Hey, thank you, mate. Ye, this is a pretty old one now I guess. I've not built in Fallout 4 for quite some time now. My last build being a town st Sanctuary Hills. Dunno if you seen that one? th-cam.com/video/B9A_IxlW6fY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=9QmB476V7RcfPCzU Anyway, I never was much good at tutorials. But I do have Behind The Scenes videos up for most of my builds. This particular build being no exception. Have a look around my channel when you get chance. The BTS videos usually directly follow the tour video. Thanks for watching, mate 😊👍
Thanks Matt. I was hoping you would enjoy it. Definitely makes a difference having the NPC's in here. Was always something I regretted not being able to include with Nuka City. Anyway, wasn't meaning to show off links in that guys post on fb. But oh well... Haha! 😂😂😂
Wow! Thank you mate. That's some fine praise, indeed!! I'm actually thinking about coming back to Fallout 4 building, myself. Kinda missing it! But I was planning to hold out until the PS5 is released in November, because I'm really curious to see how much that extra power will allow us to build. 🤔 Thanks for watching mate, and taking the time to comment. Really appreciate it. 👍
That's amazing!! Seriously it's the best thing I've seen. Loved the narrow street that goes up and the almost falling apart houses, it's another level of detail and realism
Thank you so much, buddy. But... Before you say its the best thing you've seen, check out a few of my more recent builds on my channel. Lol. Some recommendations... My Kingsport lighthouse/harbour. th-cam.com/video/JxeUphoqGgk/w-d-xo.html And my very recent, RV at Nordhagen Beach.. Thanks for watching, mate. 😊👍
I always thought the best builders are on PS4. Limited assets push you to make the best builds with what you have. When I was into F4 and settlement building your builds were an inspiration to me. I still think you’re the best F4 builder. Amazing job on this one
That's a great compliment, man. Really nice to hear! I love that I can help to inspire people. It genuinely makes me happy. So comments like this really make it all that much more worthwhile. Thanks again buddy. And thanks for watching. 😊👍
This is honestly the best build I have ever seen. At first I was amazed but somehow it just kept getting better and better. You should be level designer for Fallout because this is better than every vanilla location in the game, it's perfect. Edit: Music choice also perfect
Thank you, mate. This build was actually my 2nd attempt at this location. (My first attempt is called Nuka City th-cam.com/video/NGbMaUmPxUc/w-d-xo.html ) It was much bigger than this one, but I wanted more detail than the poor PS4 would allow me. So that's kinda why I made this smaller town. I wanted to be able to add more life and atmosphere to the place. Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching 😊👍
When I saw you were in my notifications I was straight fuckin hyped! This is like some Magnus Opus shit right here bro. Somehow, I just knew after the previous Red Rocket went to the crapper with the settlers crashing the game that you were going to do it again, and do it even better. You sure as hell did just that. I been into some RDR2 and online is pretty hectic to say the least but story mode is pure gold. I never even gave 76 a second thought after hearing it's release and after what I have heard about it I wont be touching it. Moved fo4 to a new pc and STILL have a hell of a time trying to do builds like this tbh. When you make an entrance, you sure as hell do it with a bang :)
Haha! Hey, mate. Glad you enjoyed it. And ye, I learned my lesson with Nuka City. I got the settlers in early this time. Definitely think the build is better for it, too. Just adds a bit more life to the place I think. Thanka for watching, and staying subscribed mate. Appreciate it. It's good to be back. 😊👍
Well well well, Rhys, what can anybody say that you don't already know, not a lot but I'll give it a whirl. I know I'm one of the best console builders around, but even I recognise when somebody is superior; the layout, the colours, the details, the scope, it all adds together to an exceptional build. If anybody is debating if he's the GOAT of settlement building, consider this, he's on PS4 with limited mods; an awful place anywhere mechanic that requires patience and lots of it, no scaling at all, limited assets and nowhere near the amount of building space as a mid range and upwards PC. Imagine if he built on PC carte blanche..need I say more. And I don't want to bring the tone down by mentioning other self proclaimed great builders who are average at best, even they know deep down that this and everything else you have down is far superior to their "work".
Ahhh I was waiting for your comment! 😂 I can't think who these other "self proclaimed" great builders are lol. I know I've been told my work is " mediocre and just very ok at best". So it definitely can't be me! Haha. Thanks for the kind words as always mate. Glad you enjoyed it. You know I mostly build for you guys now anyways. Lol.
Monster Barbell Well said. But i would also love to see the guy (or gal) who thinks they're better. You're the only one who can go toe to toe with him that im aware of.
Yep fallout 4 guy, you are an incredible builder, I would definitely consider you better than myself, I love your settlements, and I really love your vehicles they're great! I also know the pain of building on PS4, as I do exactly that xD My starlight drive in build is the one I'm most proud of that I've uploaded to TH-cam, but due to the limitations of my PS4 it never got finished :( (crashing and not saving etc)
Hey,@@PersonIDKyes mate, I do have a PS4 Pro. But that's not the only factor. Its actually more down the "smoke and mirrors" really. For example, most of the buildings are fake. What you can see through the windows are literally just there to give the illusion that the buildings are all complete. But most of them don't even have any backs to them. Lol. They're more like a cardboard movie set. Also, my choice of vendors, and the layout etc.. It's all strategic planning, in the sense that I will pick thing's based on how much strain I think it will put on my PS4. For example, I purposely didn't put a food store in. Because I knew I'd have to decorate it will lots of food clutter which would have hit my fps. That's one example, but I'm sure you get the gist. A lot of it is also trial and error though. Sometimes I just have to take stuff out that seem to be causing problems. Before I record the tour, I do a kind of play test, so to speak. To try and get it as smooth as possible. That usually involves, taking stuff out. But sometimes it's just a case of learning where the problem areas are and then not panning the camera in that direction. Haha! 😂
Ye... I did consider putting up some of my 76 builds. Just to ride the hype train.. But i came to my senses and realised how the square barns would look compared to all my other work and thought... Nah 😂
Absolutely brilliant, though I expect no less from you Coopes. I think I like the junk attention to detail most compared to your other great works, it feels completely harvested from the wastes, as if the settlers have scavenged over the years, to establish the joint. The whole approach to creating uninhabitable spaces, whilst making them look functional as fillers, is quite convincing and works well. When most of the commonwealth is much the same, it’s even more appropriate in executing a convincing, feels like it belongs in the game, build. Best way to go big, whilst saving frames, amongst our other little tricks that help maintain an as smooth as possible big build. Well done.
Ahh Thanks, Werty, this is exactly thr look I was going for. So glad you think it I've pulled it off. This build was challenging to me for a couple of reasons. One, was because I'd already built here before, with a similar type of build (Nuka City). So I wanted to steer clear of too many similarities. And two, because I wanted to do something that looked more like it could have been put together by a fewer. Number of people. So I chose mostly wood over steel (like Nuka City had) and didn't build quite as high either. I also knew I couldn't build full interiors for most of the buildings, yet I still wanted to tell little stories about what it might be like for the people living there. So without going crazy with the clutter and probably destroying my Fps. I did the best I could with npcs and window dressing. So glad you think all that has paid off though. As you know, compliments on our work is great to hear no matter who is giving them. But when veteran builders like you, Martin, Donald etc.. Give them. They really make all the difference in feeling like you accomplished what I set out to do. 😊👍
Haha! Well, the fps are fine. But it does have a few other issues. I can't add anymore that's for sure. If I stand in the middle of the settlement and try to scroll through the the build menu it instantly crashes lol 😂
Yay 11 1/2 minutes of me shaking my head at the wonder of your creativity. My favorites = The raider p.a. motorcycle, the trike and flatbed, the prayer tree and on and on. Thanks for all you do and share with us! :) :)
I am on Xbox with PS4-style building mods. I just used Scrap everything to clean it up for a fresh start, and hit up TH-cam looking for some ideas. I clicked on this and my jaw hit the floor. It's unbelievable. It's truly unreal. How you did this on PS4.. and I thought I was ok, you make me look like a child with building blocks and zero imagination. I was going to try and replicate it but there's no point. I can't keep up. Well done. Back to the drawing board!
Dude! Thank you very much for the great comment! Although... my goal is to inspire people, not uninspire them! Haha! If it's any consolation, I too get that feeling when I try to build bigger builds. Including when I made this one. It's one of those... Looks around and wonders where to begin, moments. I usually get. I do have smaller builds on my channel though. Feel free to browse through. Oh I just finished a little player home recently that in extremely proud of. Mainly because it's winter themed. And I'd not seen anyone else do anything like that on PS4. Check it out here if you're interested th-cam.com/video/6_BO27iz3Cs/w-d-xo.html Definitely a contrast from a big build like this one. Anyway, thanks for watching, mate. Appreciate it. Let me know how you get on if you do build something at Nuka Red Rocket. It's a great spot. 😊👍
Thank you buddy. I appreciate that. Feel free to browse my other builds on my channel. This one is a fairly large build, obviously. But i have lots of other, big and smaller, bars, shops, vehicles, player homes Etc.. Speaking of player homes, this is one of my favourite player homes Ive made. th-cam.com/video/QqfwbGBvBDE/w-d-xo.html Hope you enjoy it. And thanks again for the sub. 👍😊
@@Fallout4Guy I binged about 10 of your videos last night. I'm really impressed by the vehicles. I'm using PA on XB1,but they don't have Copypasta or anything of the like that'll allow me to accurately rotate to make some of those angles happen.
Thanks man, I'm glad you enjoyed my other videos too. As for Copy Pasta, I've never used that so I can't state this as fact, but I was sure that Copy Pasta was created for Xbox 1. It's not available on PS4 though. I also thought Place Anywhere was used to tilt stuff on Xbox? On PS4 the mod that allows you to tilt and PA is called QwaPA. The mod is tricky to use and takes a lot of time and patience, but it's probably one of the best if not THE best mod for building on PS4. Although It doesn't allow you to re scale objects though, that's not possible due to sonys restrictions. I wish I could help with advice on how to tilt on Xbox. I just know it can definitely be done, and I thought it was done via PA. But i must be mistaken. 🤔
Hey @@bryananderson9914 I saw you commented on my Sanctuary player home, but I can't actually find the comment to reply. I can see the notification, and the first sentence, but that is all. So just letting you know in case you asked a question or something, and wondered why I didn't reply. Lol.
Absolutely amazing. I would just suggest that you add more planks and stuff on the roads so they fit better with the buildings. Other than that its faultless, better than anything I could ever hope of doing
Can't place a single object more! Lol. The game crashes if I even try to scroll through the build menu while I'm at this settlement. The PS4 can only take so much, and this is pushing it to its limits it seems. I suspect if I removed some of the settlers, it would maybe let me add more. As the scripts they use definitely hog resources. But that would impact the atmosphere far too much. But ye, these are the sacrifices of console builds, really. Just gona work with them the best you can. Thanks for watching, though. Glad you enjoyed it. 😊👍
Coope’s is back with a bang!! Awesome build mate. Love the detail and style. I could really imagine settlers building it up over the years, adding to it as more of them move in. Scavenging bits from all over. Great job and glad your back!!
Hey John! It's great to be back! Especially with a bang! Haha! Really sorry there's no armouries or gun shops! Lol. My PS4 literally couldn't take anymore. Guns are a terrible resource hog! I didn't even get to build my player home I wanted to add in the apartments building! 😔 Ahh well... Next time. Lol
Lol thanks man! Ye, I did record a commentary for it. But it ran for about 30 minutes! And I know ain't nobody got time for that shit! Lol. So I edited down a bit, but then the commentary needed redoing, and I couldn't be bothered so just threw the soundtrack for RDR2 on it instead! Worked out well in the end lol 😂
@@Fallout4Guy yeah man blends well (fyi, there is a live performance medley of RDR2 soundtrack thats pretty dope) Nice too see your still building. Slow as it may be, i look forward too anything you may post 👍
@@subliminalgravy1549 ye, I have to admit, I don't play Fallout 4 very much these days. spent a fair bit of time with Fallout 76 (which I've now just complenty given up on, no matter how much I try to force myself to like it.) And before that, I spent a lot of time with RDR2, which I absolutely loved! This particular build took me around 3 weeks from start to finish. But there's only so much fallout 4 I can stomach, due to how much the game crashes and all the other issues that come with pushing this old game engine as far as I do. So I tend to build something, then go play other games for a while. Then come back and build something else. Lol. Ye, its slow, but it keeps my builds from becoming rushed and loveless I suppose. Can always count on me to never just build stuff for the sake of it. Everything I upload is always done with the same passion. But that unfortunately means I have to take breaks from the game, otherwise I'd probably stab myself in the eyes because of all the frustrating bugs I have to deal with! Hahaha 😂
I don't even want to think how many hours you put into that build. Missed the "Hello hello" and narration but I understand that's just more work on top of what you already did. Welcome back!
Well, the original tour was actually over 30 mins long. So I had to edit the crap out of it. Cuz i know ain't nobody got time for that, these days! Lol. So ye, the audio was obviously all over the place after editing. Don't worry though, I'll be chatting away plenty in the Behind The Scenes video. Thanks you staying with my channel though mate. I appreciate it. And I'm really glad you enjoyed the build. 😊👍
Scrappy, organic looking and detailed build! This must have been a LOT of work! One can really see all the thought and attention for detail going into this. Also nice and atmospheric tour! Though with some parts, one has to ask how the settlers could have possibly built that with the limited technology available to them.
simply amazing! I shouldnt be surprise but your eye for design in this game is amazing. I can never get a grasp on layout and design like this. To me when i build if it cannot be an actual decorated room it doesnt belong lol. I know how you and monster barbell build and i wish i had the tallent to just make something look like it could be there but is just the set. but my brain is fixated on filling in the blanks space lol. I really need to just sit down and finish some of my builds i got going but other things pull those strings. great job
Hey Chaos. Hows it goin mate? Nice to see you're still around, buddy. And thanks for the kind words, man. I know exactly what you mean about feeling like you have to decorate every single room/area. I was the same as you. It was actually Martin (Monster Barbell) that changed my mind set on that. I always used to build small and detailed stuff, and obviously you have plenty of system power to decorate and detail everything. But it was when I built Nuka City I had to change the way I did things. And after chatting with Maritn about the city's he'd built. It was obvious I had to build more like a movie set than a functional settlement. Obviously if you have a bad ass PC you can make less sacrifices. But there's only so far I can push my PS4. So realistically, I have to only build what the viewer can see. It's the only real way I can build to this size and detail and not have my console blow up! Haha! You're a great builder, and I have not doubt that you could adapt and learn these tricks. It's just changing your mindset and looking at it through a camera lens rather than a player walking around the place freely. 😊
I just recently discovered your channel, and, like many, I think your builds are incredible... made all the more so by the fact that you are on PS4. You prove that with time and creativity, it's possible to create amazing settlements, despite the inherent limitations of the platform. Hell, I'm on PC, and pretty much all of what you've done blows any of my settlements out of the water. Aside from the actual content, I also really enjoy your videos, very nicely put together. Cheers!
Wow! Thanks very much, Sonja. I really appreciate that. I know many people think PS4 sucks for Fallout 4 building, because of the lack of mods. But that's really the main reason I stay with the platform. I think the restrictions have actually helped me to be far more creative with my builds than I probably would have been if I were on PC or Xbox. Plus I think it helps to inspire other builders because they think, well... " If this can be done on PS4, then can definitely achieve this on PC " etc.. Which really makes me smile when I hear stuff like that. Cuz i love knowing I've helped to inspire in some way. Anyway, thanks for your comment. And thanks very much for watching. I'm away on vacation at the moment. But I'll definitely be back to building on Fallout 4, soon. I can never stay away from it too long. 😂👍
Just found your channel. And this newest build video... I'm blown away. Absolutely blown away. Great job. I'll have to view all your previous builds now.
Thanks Clinton. Welcome to my channel. Really glad you enjoyed the build, mate. Ye feel free to browse my other videos. Got plenty of other builds on here too. Thanks for watching, buddy 👍
YES Just, YES. I've been aching for some QUALITY Fallout 4 building and like always you annihilate all forms of expectations. This build was incredible. Walking through this with you felt like being transported a medieval castle set in dystopian Fallout. It was a truly one of a kind experiience. Thank you for your builds
Hey James. Thanks for the great comment, mate! It's comments like this that really make my day. I really do pride myself I trying to give the same level of quality you guys are used to seeing in my builds. So glad that doesn't go unnoticed. Thanks very much, buddy. Really glad you enjoyed it. 👍
Thank you buddy. I appreciate that. Really glad you like it. Feel free to check out my other builds on my channel (if you haven't already) I've got plenty of other builds of this standard on there. Thanks for watching 😊👍
Hey Roy. Thanks mate. It's good to be back. I've been wasting for too much time on Fallout 76! Lol. But if anything, at least it made me appreciate Fallout 4 even more than I knew I could! Haha! Thanks for watching, mate. Glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks very much. Gakd you liked it. Ye, motorcycles are tricky for me to do on PS4, because there's no re scaling mods. So getting objects to fit can be a pain. But this time it all fit perfectly. 😊 Thanks for watching mate.
IDK if commenting on a 9 mo. video is considered necro, but i just gotta say, dude... your vids are amazing. Just astonishing what you've created. This one just blew me away. All of your builds are just so wonderfully detailed, it makes me want to live there, almost. You know, if it wasn't like, a devastated wasteland populated by roving gangs of mutants, killer robots, and utterly horrible, horrible people. Kinda like real life, haha. Anyways people like you make it worthwhile. Awesome, awesome content. Thanks for doing this.
Ahhh thank buddy. Nothing wrong with commenting on a 9 month old vid. I like it when my older builds still get some love. 😂 And thank you very much for the compliments. I appreciate it. Not sure which if my other videos you've seen, but my recent ones, particularly my Kingsport Harbour th-cam.com/video/JxeUphoqGgk/w-d-xo.html and my Winter Survival home th-cam.com/video/6_BO27iz3Cs/w-d-xo.html are two that I'm very proud of. If you've not seen them I recommend checking them out. I've recently started work on a new build a few days ago. It's turning out to be my most technically difficult build to date. (that title was formally held by my Motor Home) but I this one is gona make it look like child's play lol. Anyway, thanks for watching mate. 😊👍
Thanks man! Glad you enjoyed it. Ye, I kinda wanted it to look like it had been built up by the settlers over many years. Like it had evolved organically. Thanks for watching. I've got lots of other builds on my channel that are of the style and quality. Feel free to check them out if you're interested. 😊👍
Thanks mate. Ye, I've built here before with my Nuka City build. Dunno if you saw it? It's much bigger than this one, but due to the size I couldn't get the level of detail I wanted. So this town is pretty much how I'd have liked to do the detailing on my city build. But obviously the PS4 can only take so much. So I had to sacrifice size. Glad you enjoyed it, though. Thanks for watching. 👍
Thank you, buddy. Um, I can't actually remember how many hours it took, anyway. I think around 150 or something that. The tilting is what slows me down a lot. Tilting objects on PS4, is very tedious and time consuming. But due to Sonys restrictions placed on mods. Unfortunately there's no alternative, for the methods used to make tilting work. But meh, it is what it is. Glad you enjoyed it though, mate. Thanks for watching 😊👍
Welcome Back, It's good to see you again with another wonderful Settlement. This one feels very immersive and lore friendly in my opinion it looks better than some of the in-game settlements Well done.
Thanks Vincent. It's great to be back mate. I've actually missed you guys! Lol. Ye, I tried to keep it lore friendly and as fitting as possible. I know my last build (The superhero penthouse) wasn't exactly lore friendly lol. So kinda wanted to go back to what I'm used to haha! Glad you liked it mate. And thanks for sticking around. 😊👍
Haha! Thanks Ben. And ye, I'd say I've probably got more than a few screws loose to be honest! 😂 How ya been mate? It's nice to see people like you are still around and interested in Fallout 4, stuff. Thanks, man. 😊
@@Fallout4Guy i play everyday. Looking for inspiration. I gotta say: alot of this stuff you do SEEMS so obvious to do. For example: that guy looking out the window. Now im pretty sure thats a "rail lean" idle marker or rug u used there. But i wouldnt think of that in a million years. Its the little things like that that separate you from the pack. And I've been doing well. Good to see you're still up to the usual. Much respect and appreciation to you my friend. Oh! Hey! Would you ever consider if not streaming then doing "how to" videos of sorts? Id LOVE to watch you in real time. Watch your process. Im sure im not the only one. One of my favorite 'tubers is a guy by the name Sardeliac, and although alot of the stream is him thinking out loud i enjoy it so much. Or like i said, even just build videos where u start with an idea andcwe get to watch u flesh it out over the course of a few episodes. Something to think about. Thanks again!
Ahhh thanks again@@benjaminschimpf421And yes, you're spot on about the rug lean animation. Lol. After my Nuka City build, I really wanted to make sure I got the settlers in place with this one. As I couldn't have any in Nuka City. I'm really glad people have noticed them and you think it's made a difference in the overall atmosphere. It's funny you mention SarDeliac. He used to watch all my videos and would always leave me lovely comments. Often telling me how much I inspire him and how he's shamefully stealing this and that idea. I really liked him, he seemed like a great guy. But then he just stopped..... I dunno if I did something to offend him or what. But he literally just stop watching. Was weird. But ye, I know he does a lot of steaming though. Think that's kinda his thing now. I'm really not sure if that would work for my style of building though. Most of the time i got music blasting out, or my Mrs is chatting to me while I build. Or I go afk often etc etc.. Plus I shut my PS4 down and reboot it, like every 30mins to avoid the 0kb bug. Lol. Not to mention how annoying it would probably be to watch me tilting 30 objects in a row with a stupid bread box! (the joys of PS4 lol) 😂 Trust me, the end result is far prettier than the build up! Haha! Still had saying that. I could maybe do something on smaller, shorter builds. Only problem is, I never really know how big a build will be until its finished. And no offence to any other builders that do that kind of thing. But my builds can't be put together in a couple of streams or tutorial videos. They take literally, hundreds of hrs. Doubt anyone wants to sit through that crap. Lol 😂 But, I'll have a think about it nevertheless. Might be able to come up with something that works with my style
@@Fallout4Guy well i kinda thought you fell off the face of the earth, maybe Sar thought the same thing? He's a good guy. Anyway, im a pretty big fan of you. I cant say that tutorials or streams will get the views but the diehard among us would kill to watch your process at any measure. Your creativity is just amazing. Using things in ways that were never intended. Its truly brilliant. I appreciate your time. Hope all is well!
Let me say watching this video makes me wish Bethesda had this talent to make a settlement that good damn i know you probably used some mods i don't use mods but it is good to see people still playing this i have went back to playing fallout 4after giving more chances the game has took me over still but this is the best fucking settlement i have ever seen sir good work man! Love this i just subbed by the way
Thank you mate, I appreciate it. As for the mods, you can see my full mod list in the video description. I don't really use that many mods to be honest. Think I counted around 15 building mods, last time I checked. PS4 doesn't really have as much to choose from as the other platforms, but I'm running most of the main ones, and a few others that can be found in the Work In Progress section. So you'll have to go manually digging through to find those, as they don't show up in bethesda.net searches.
Glad to see you back! Missed all the awesomeness! Love love love the editing on this, really gave you a good look at things. The music even gave it an extra something, and I was kinda jamming out, won't lie lol. Love your way of making little windows into things, the details man. I won't give you a long speech, you know how I feel about your builds! Amazing work as always!
Mandawins!! How ya doin? It's good to be back. As always, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I did actually record a full commentary, but the video was over 30 mins long! And this is 2019, an ain't nobody got time for that! Lol. So I had to edit the shit outa it, but then the audio was all messed up... So I was like... Umm... Fuck! Now what do I do? Then I Remembered the Red Dead Redemption 2 end credits music... And boom! True story! Lol. 😂
Welcome back dude👍 what a build! You're a master at the small details! People leaning out of windows(nice touch), people doing their thing, drug dens ☺ comic shop, the fire pit etc. I could go on 👌👍 class! by the way Really really nice editing 👌 music is perfect 👍
It's good to be back, mate. And nice to see you guys are still around. Wasn't sure if anyone even cared about fallout 4 settlements these days. Glad you liked all the little details, too! It's the stuff like that that takes the most time. So it's always nice to hear when they get noticed. Makes it all the more worthwhile. 😊👍
Haha! Ye, its a mindset we have to try break free from. We're conditioned to want everything to be neat and tidy. I always try to stay as post apocalyptic as possible with my builds. Although, I did do one modern/clean build no so long ago. It was a superhero themed penthouse/player home. If you like more modern styles you might enjoy it. Here's a short video trailer th-cam.com/video/zpXgatqmKgA/w-d-xo.html The full tour is on my channel also. Thanks for watching, mate. And i hope you enjoy Qwapa 👍
@@Fallout4Guy I'm trying to go more pirate with my coastal buildings, like the lighthouse and Spectacle Island. Fun. Might live on a boat too. Love this game,
@@alienrobot1648 ye, a boat house build would be cool. I really like doing small compact style player homes. Seeing how much I can cram into a small living space etc.. I did a Motor Home build a while ago. Which I made from scratch out of tilted metal floor panels. I wanted it to look realistic and still have a full interior. It was a challenge to put together, but so much fun ans so satisfying to see the end result. You can see it here if you're interested th-cam.com/video/QqfwbGBvBDE/w-d-xo.html Could definitely do something similar with a house boat of some sort.
Awww now we're talking. See my newer stuff, I'm definitely proud of. Lol. Thanks buddy. Glad you enjoyed it. I don't cringe when I look at my recent stuff. hahah.
@@Fallout4Guy lol u said it welcome back. Every detail in this build was on point. From the birds, vehicles, people, and even the clothes on the line drying. It was amazing to watch. Dont stop building. Lol
Ahhhh you even noticed the birds! Good man! 👍 I do love my subtle details. And I love them even more when people notice them! Thanks for the support as always, David. Appreciate it, mate. 👍
Thanks, mate. I recently released the behind the scenes video for this build. Not sure if you saw it? If you enjoyed this one, you might be interested to see the thought process etc... Thanks for watching, buddy 😊👍
The master is baaaaaaaaaack:) That´s how a post-apocalyptic Fallout should look like. You´ve nothing lost from your creativity and skills. Bethesda should have a look at your creations to know how to create settlements at Fallout 5 (hopefully with less bugs, lol). I should go back to my favela project to pimp it, i have the feeling i´ve been down from 98 % finishing to 60% lol. Hope we will see more from you in the future, Fallout 4 settlement building will be alive till Fallout 5
Haha! Thank you mate. Really glad you liked it. I doubt you need to do too much to your Favela. It's looked fantastic when you showed me. But hey, I guess if you've found any inspiration in my build, then I'm very flattered. Thanks again buddy. Looking forward to seeing yours, soon. 👍
@@Fallout4Guy Your work is full of inspirations. What do you think about a murkwater settlement, like a hunters cabin or something like this for one of your next projects?
I dunno. You're doing a Murkwater type build. I'm not sure what I'll do next. One of my favourite hunters cabins though , is Monster Barbells "The End" shack. th-cam.com/video/juaYB0fWDDQ/w-d-xo.html not sure if youve seen it? Beautiful build. 😊
@@Fallout4Guy It look fantastic, you could do something like this with one of your handmade boats. My "Murkwater" is far away from the look of the Fallout Murkwater, the only common ground is that both are swamps
Great build, isn't it? And ye, I've thought about doing a boat or boathouse of some kind for a while now. Although Murkwater would have to be a crashed boat I suppose. That's maybe been coverted to a player home or something.
Ye, I've had a few people asking about it in the past. Not really sure how it would work with my build style. Would probably be really boring. Mostly consisting of me lining up bread boxes at various angles, and then entering and existing workshop mode and having to wait 1min each time for it open, just to tilt one object! Then repeating that 500 times! Lol
I thought I had seen the best builders in FO4, then I found out about Fallout 4 Guy. The irony is that this is better than anything made by Bethesda. If only all of this including the vehicles were functional as well. Imagine a new Fallout game with a new top notch engine capable of settlement and vehicle building/customisation and traversal. And NPCs that actually interact with stuff for real, instead of droning out somewhere or being stuck on a rooftop.
Ahhh thanks so much, buddy. Really appreciate it. And I'm glad you like my work. There are a lot of great Fallout 4 builders out there. And a fair few of them are actually friends of mine. But sadly, most, if not all of them are relatively unknown In comparison to the big channels like Norespawns or Cordlessvii. It's always worth checking out those small channels when you stumble across them. They are usually worth your time. As for Bethesda devs creations.... Well.... Ye, some of it isn't great. But i guess they have other things to consider, like how the game actually runs etc.. I mean, it's pretty buggy as it is. Imagine if they had even more detail and working vehicles and so on. The game engine would just melt itself! Haha! That's what I love about the settlement creation system though. It lets us create the world they just wasn't able to do. Even if its just a tiny little piece of it. I know I'd have quit Fallout 4 years ago if it wasn't for the Settlement system. It could be its own game in my opinion. Thanks for watching mate. And taking the time to comment. Oh, and if you don't mind me asking... How did you find my channel? I'm always curious about what brings people to me. 🤔😊
@@Fallout4Guy Thanks for replying! I think you just popped up in my recommended videos after following channels like CordlessVII and Norespawns. I'm working on a Starlight Drive-in settlement myself atm, but kind of lost interest for now, something is messed up with my load order and my game keeps crashing and with Cyberpunk 2077 coming out tomorrow lol. But I'm gonna finish it sooner or later, maybe when I finally get my hands on a PS5.
Hey buddy. No worries. Ye, I've recently jumped back onto Fallout 4 after getting a PS5. I wanted to see how much the extra power would let me build before I'm fps started to struggle. So I've made a new save, and begun building at Sanctuary Hills. I was hoping to have it finished by before Cyberpunk is released, but unfortunately I think I've bitten off more than I can shew because I'm nowhere near completion! So I may have to put the build on hold. Either that, or I don't bother playing Cyberpunk yet, until the PS5 upgrade is released. As I hear that is not until next year!! Very annoying. I was kinda expecting I'd be able to upgrade to the PS5 version on day one. But I guess that's not gona be the case! So ye... I dunno what to do now! 🤔
yo ever thought about making an Abernathy farm build? I'm trying to make it like big farm complete with greenhouse, windmills, chicken coop, muttfruit farm, corn farm etc., i made the top floor a chill out area with bar, surrounding walls since it's a farm and others will try to take it over. take this Abernathy farm overhaul mod as an example, heres the link: /ZtfzHeEcrFg ,as an inspiration. my build isn't as insanely detailed as your builds but I really wanna see your take on it. Thanks for considering it haha
OMG I finaly found you again! YOU are THE BEST Builder ever out there, first after blocking like 10 clickbait TH-camrs and watching Hundret of Settlement Builds I finaly got yours delievered infront of me, this one, the Nuka City and the PS5 Castle themed City of yours are THE BEST of THE BEST of all of them on YT. Man I wished YT did not my delet my channel over memes in private ... searching you was a hazzle. Love you and your work mate, keep em coming like Butcher Pete keeps it hackin and smacking I know you said in your PS5 Build video that you no longer do them wich is such a shame!
Hey, man! Thank you so much! Really appreciate your kind words. And I'm so glad you enjoyed my builds. It's great to see people are still interested in Fallout 4 building. Although I haven't actually built anything since my Sanctuary Hills town, I am excited about Bethesdas announcement to release an enhanced version for current gen consoles. I'll definitely be coming back for at least one build to test it out (hopefully more though). And fingers crossed they fix some of the bugs that plague the game. So ye, that's definitely something to look forward to. Just not sure when they plan to release it... 🤔 So as Arnold would say.... I'll be back! 😂😂 Thanks again, mate 👍👍
@@Fallout4Guy Man I wish I could build like half as Good as You, I'm kinda annoyed at my ps4 currently due to a save issue that I believe to be mod related unfortunately
Lol thanks mate. This is actually the 2nd city type build I've done at this location. The first one I did is actually bigger than this. Although less detailed obviously. As for how I did it on console. Well, i dunno. I only build on PS4, so I guess I'm just used to getting the best out of it really. Knowing what I can and can't get away with. But I will say, that this build has pushed it to the limit. I couldn't build anything more without it crashing. Oh ye.. And this is a PS4 Pro. So that probably helps a little bit.
Do you know which mod you used for the swinging oil lamp? I'm having trouble finding it and could really use it. Also great job on the build! I didn't know the ps4 could handle so much, I worry about it catching fire sometimes on half the stuff I build haha
The awning below the red rocket letters, the green metall like thingy? What mod does that belong to? This build is so fucking good that I almost felt like giving up my own ps4 builds but I love it too much for that🤣
Hey buddy. Ye, I've been wasting far too much time with Fallout 76! The camp mode is so lame it made me reinstall Fallout 4 again! Haha! Glad you enjoyed the build, mate. You still on fallout 4?
@@Fallout4Guy u played 76 for 30 hours maybe its sucked balls so I went back to 4 but iv been playing red dead for a bit now will be back to 4 soon enuff lol
Haha! The crow is from the Animals section in USO. I just used the trusty Place Anywhere post to line him up so it looks like he's perched on the wire. 😂 Glad someone noticed! Lol
This is completely bonkers. How long did this take?? The thing that shocks me the most is your apparent mastery of the tilt tool, I could never get that damn thing to play ball with me! Amazing build, man.
Lol thank you, Red. Um I think it took around 3 weeks if I remember correctly. This is the second time I've built at Nuka Red Rocket. (first was my Nuka City build) this one is a hit smaller than my first, but more detailed. Nuka City, was my skyscrapers etc... And ye, I used to hate the tilt tool. I'd avoid it whenever possible. But, eventually I got used to it. And now it's my bitch! 😂😂😂😂
It's hard to believe that this was made on ps4, 10 times better than any town/city/settlement in the game. Are the motorcycles/ vehicals from a mod or did you just make them look that way?
Thanks mate. No, the vehicles are not a mod. I just made them from various parts in game. These vehicles are pretty basic to be honest. I've made far more complex ones in other builds. But i was really pushing my PS4 hard here. So I tried to keep them simple for the sake of the fps. Have a browse of my channel if you want to see more impressive vehicles. My Motor Home for example, is one of my personal favourites. You can find that here - th-cam.com/video/QqfwbGBvBDE/w-d-xo.html Thanks for watching mate 👍
Nah, it a new save. I still have Nuka City.... Somewhere. But i wanted to do something smaller and more detailed than was possible in Nuka City. Oh... And settlers!ll
May I ask what mods have the string lights? Like the one, the crow is perched on and the swinging lantern at 3:09 ? Btw this is an amazing build. Inspired me to take a crack at making my own Nuka City!
Very sorry for the late reply, buddy. I've only just seen your comment. Urm, the lights are from CVA (Custom Vanilla Assets) and the swinging lantern is from Akiras Clutter, I think. Its in Decor / Misc tab. Hope this helps. And thanks for watching mate. Glad you enjoyed the build 😊👍
No worries. Not sure if you're familiar with CVA. But it works via "Toggles". Basically, little swtiches that you place down, then activate outside of workshop mode to make the objects show up in the menu. It's a feature to keep your build menu from becoming over cluttered. So, ye. You'll need to activate the lighting toggle first, before they show up in lights. Also, the sting lights don't have collusion. So you'll need QwaPa or Place Anywhere to be able to move them around once you've placed them. Hope this makes sense. 👍
@@Fallout4Guy Outstanding. I'm familiar with the mod, so I shouldn't have a hard time figuring it out, with everyone being in quarantine I have nothing but time haha
@@twilightjester5672 hmm I dunno what you mean. Mods are free. You don't need tokens or anything. The mods used in my builds are all made by the community. So you just download them for free, mate 👍
I mean... aside from not really being functional (let's face it, most of the game itself isn't really all that functional), this is the best fucking build I've seen yet.
Retire now.
Firefly is such a good show
Completely insane detail...with your level of skill you’d think this settlement was part of the main game, massive respect for your effort.
Thanks so much. Really glad you enjoyed it. And it's good to be back on Fallout 4. The Fallout 76 camp mode, was killing me! Lol. 😴
Every object was placed with perfection
Thank you, mate 😊
2:32 the crow sitting on the hanging lights was for sure a paid actor
Haha!
Truly one of the greatest!
better than all of the settlements in game good job.
Thanks you, mate. Really glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching 👍
I watch a lot of FO4 vids and I think you're the greatest settlement builder I've ever seen (better than Sardeliac, Cordless, norespawns, Xion, etc)

(My first attempt is called Nuka City th-cam.com/video/NGbMaUmPxUc/w-d-xo.html )
It was much bigger than this one, but I wanted more detail than the poor PS4 would allow me. So that's kinda why I made this smaller town. I wanted to be able to add more life and atmosphere to the place. Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching 😊👍
Starts playing fallout 4 again, watches this video and hears music. Red dead redemption 2: Screams
Hahaha! Ye! It's the best of both worlds. 😂😂
Creativity and patience beyond anything I can imagine. Fantastic
Thank you very much, buddy.
I can't think who these other "self proclaimed" great builders are lol.
I also know the pain of building on PS4, as I do exactly that xD
My starlight drive in build is the one I'm most proud of that I've uploaded to TH-cam, but due to the limitations of my PS4 it never got finished :( (crashing and not saving etc)
@@Fallout4Guy How do you manage to squeeze so much in without killing your PS4? Do you have a PS4 Pro?
Haha! 😂
One of the best build ive seen.
I have really no problem seeing that in the original game
Thanks so much. I really appreciate that. Thanks for watching. 😊

Well i'm glad you're back other channels make Fallout 76 builds which is basically Fallout 4 barn building.
Ye... I did consider putting up some of my 76 builds. Just to ride the hype train.. But i came to my senses and realised how the square barns would look compared to all my other work and thought... Nah 😂
wow, this is a huge inspiration to me, i am working hard hard hard to make something like this, and to find out youre on ps4?? bigger inspiration
Yeah for me aswell. I watched countless builders and this guy, he nails it like no one other does, a shame he stopped doing them.
Beautiful! Just fucking beautiful! Thank you!
How does this not just absolutely annihilate your FPS? Incredible build!
Haha! Well, the fps are fine. But it does have a few other issues. I can't add anymore that's for sure. If I stand in the middle of the settlement and try to scroll through the the build menu it instantly crashes lol 😂
So glad to see you back! And, my God, this is amazing! The amount of detail and little unique touches you've put to every part of it is astonishing.
Thank you, I'm glad to be back. And thanks for sticking around on my channel. It's nice to see so many people still interested in Fallout 4 builds. 😊

Lol, missed you too! But dang, are you worth the wait! Hugs, Jude

@@Fallout4Guy Not sure what happened, but it was the usual fanboying. Lol
Fallout 4 Guy Ah understandable, thanks for replying
You're welcome, buddy 👍
Coope’s is back with a bang!! Awesome build mate. Love the detail and style. I could really imagine settlers building it up over the years, adding to it as more of them move in. Scavenging bits from all over. Great job and glad your back!!
Hey John! It's great to be back! Especially with a bang! Haha! Really sorry there's no armouries or gun shops! Lol. My PS4 literally couldn't take anymore. Guns are a terrible resource hog! I didn't even get to build my player home I wanted to add in the apartments building! 😔 Ahh well... Next time. Lol
My game crashed just by looking at this video, and I LOVE IT
Haha! I can relate.... Mine crashed....um...a lot! 🤣
Man, how did i miss this? No voice, tut tut lol
Hope you all good man. Sick build as always.
@@Fallout4Guy yeah man blends well (fyi, there is a live performance medley of RDR2 soundtrack thats pretty dope)
Nice too see your still building.
Hahaha 😂
The best build I've seen for sure, much more interesting than Diamond City...
Thank you, buddy. Glad you liked it 😊👍
I don't even want to think how many hours you put into that build.

Just, YES.
holy shit. i can stop my settlement building, never can build so nice like this
Lol thanks buddy. Glad you enjoyed it. Don't stop building though! My builds aren't meant to help inspire people, not make them quit! 😂😂😂 Lol

Hey Roy. Thanks mate. It's good to be back. I've been wasting for too much time on Fallout 76! Lol. But if anything, at least it made me appreciate Fallout 4 even more than I knew I could! Haha! Thanks for watching, mate. Glad you enjoyed it.
I love how you incorporated the motorcycle into a new vehicle. Really creative! Awesome work all around
Thanks very much. Gakd you liked it. Ye, motorcycles are tricky for me to do on PS4, because there's no re scaling mods. So getting objects to fit can be a pain. But this time it all fit perfectly. 😊 Thanks for watching mate.
Wow! Amazing build, your choice of music is spot on, and it's something that could be part of the game lore, well done simply amazing.
Thank you very much. Really glad you enjoyed it, buddy. 😊
And thank you very much for the compliments. 😊👍
best build ive ever seen got so much character also u can see how scrappy but built up it is i love it
Thanks man! Glad you enjoyed it. Ye, I kinda wanted it to look like it had been built up by the settlers over many years. Like it had evolved organically.

This is something i play on XB1 and yet this right here is awesome.
Jesus christ u went ham on this build looks really realistic and detailed well done.
This is really nice especially for console(I also am), did it crash at or/a lot while building?
Don't even wanna know how many hours, or should I say weeks, went into this beautiful build. Kudos from Vegas 💯👍
For a while there i thought you may have a screw or two loose. But now im sure of it. Thats all i got. G.O.A.T
Haha! Thanks Ben. And ye, I'd say I've probably got more than a few screws loose to be honest! 😂
How ya been mate?
I know if he streamed a build vid live that I'd def be down to watch it with everyone else.
(the joys of PS4 lol) 😂
Trust me, the end result is far prettier than the build up!
Amazing build as always. What a way to make your return!

Let me say watching this video makes me wish Bethesda had this talent to make a settlement that good damn i know you probably used some mods i don't use mods but it is good to see people still playing this i have went back to playing fallout 4after giving more chances the game has took me over
still but this is the best fucking settlement i have ever seen sir good work man!
Mandawins!! How ya doin?
It's good to be back. As always, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I did actually record a full commentary, but the video was over 30 mins long! And this is 2019, an ain't nobody got time for that! And boom! True story! Lol. 😂
This is great. Feels a little Mad Max influenced.

Very cool. Every time I build I end up being too neat and gentrifying the place a lot.
Here's a short video trailer th-cam.com/video/zpXgatqmKgA/w-d-xo.html

You can see it here if you're interested th-cam.com/video/QqfwbGBvBDE/w-d-xo.html
Could definitely do something similar with a house boat of some sort.
Amazing, great job. This is the best build I have seen.

Wow dude, I'm jelly!

Dude u did it!!!!
this one is the best ever and i hope bethesda is watching and taking notes.. yeees man it so fucking incredible 😄😄😄👍
Have you ever thought about making a building video? So we can see how a masterbuild like this comes to life.
Lol
Haha i for one would love to see it though just to learn a few things.
This in incredible. Great Work.

How the heck did you get the crow to sit on the string of lights? Amazing work as always!
Haha! The crow is from the Animals section in USO. I just used the trusty Place Anywhere post to line him up so it looks like he's perched on the wire. 😂 Glad someone noticed! Lol
Damn... speechless
Im guessing it doesn’t work anymore with the ps5 update?
Very very cool :D
Hey bro. Thanks for stopping by. 😊👍
You can find that here - th-cam.com/video/QqfwbGBvBDE/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for watching mate 👍
@@Fallout4Guy Oh that's pretty cool, I'll be checking out more of your videos and you also got a new sub
bananas man
Mean while in fallout 76 i live in a crappy shack :D
Haha! Ye, Fallout 76 camp mode, is what made me reinstall Fallout 4! Lol 😂
@@Fallout4Guy glad you did mate. You tore down the entire old city to make this one or is it a different save?
Nah, it a new save. I still have Nuka City.... Somewhere. But i wanted to do something smaller and more detailed than was possible in Nuka City. Oh... And settlers!ll
I think that's why 76 lost me. I love collecting masses of junk and building settlements with it. None of that in 76. Can't even carry junk.
@@Fallout4Guy Thank you so much!!!!! I've been looking all over for those two!!!
I'm familiar with the mod, so I shouldn't have a hard time figuring it out, with everyone being in quarantine I have nothing but time haha
this mode stuff makes me kind of envious sometimes.
Envious of what, mate?
@@Fallout4Guy envious that you have use a password on the creation thing before you can use the tokens you bought to buy the mods you like.
@@twilightjester5672 hmm I dunno what you mean. Mods are free. You don't need tokens or anything. The mods used in my builds are all made by the community. So you just download them for free, mate 👍
