I was torn between this and the Cut60. Ended up getting this due to your video and the fact that it looks awesome. I wired it up to my Crossfire Pro, but I used the raw power instead of the cnc plug. Couldn't be happier. I an a newbie, but so far it has worked absolutely mint. Thanks for the vid.
@@tunerdadtunerdad7927 thanks, for 1… watching the video & 2.. glad it could help you out… how has the raw power been? I ran mine through the CNC port. She’s still cutting to this day, though it doesn’t have as much of a work load that it used too. I still get my moneys worth out of it overall.
@@TheDogHousetv I have nothing to compare it to, but I have had no issues at all. I mainly cut hot rod brackets and such, 1/8 and 1/4 cold roll. The Everlast and the Crossfire Pro has worked flawlessly for me so far. I keep em clean and cared for.
Thank you brother, i think i remember you commenting something about it when i first got the table.. it’s definitely a learning curve & im sorry you had to quit. Always sucks when BS drives you away from a job you enjoy
Great video. Just bought the 82i. Because I only needed the 62i but always up size if i can afford it. Got the regular torch but am going to build a CNC and then get the CNC torch if I think I need or or I start making some $$ with CNC and I expect to.
Yeah sometimes i wish i had gotten the larger unit, but i haven’t really had the need for it aside for a few small projects. I used a hand torch on my cnc table for a few months prior to buying this… it works just fine.
So. Year later... do you think you would have sprung for the 82i if you were to do jt today (or do it over so to speam)?? My Crossfire pro is on route to me and the plasma i have wont work. Torn on what i should buy. And, whats the benefit or reason to spring for a cnc straight plasma torch over the hand held unit? Its a fairly large exoense grabbing their plasmas sith the cnc torcv First tig i owned was a Everlast about a decade ago. I soood it a couple years back and got a lincoln... Then sold that and got a HTP recently.
I have recently done some half inch (both steel and alloy) cutting and yes i wish i had a bit more amperage. Aside from those 2-3 jobs the 62 has been perfectly fine. Make sure you buy consumables in bulk cause it always seems like you’ll cook your last one when you’re in the middle of a job lol. That’s the only annoying part is you cannot get them locally have to order from everlast. Other than that. I plan to eventually replace my AHP with an everlast. It’s been an amazing unit. I used to weld with a 315 at my old job & it kicked ass too. I do like them for the price
You set the amperage on the machine rated for the thickness of the material. The only thing the computer is doing it telling it when to fire on and off. I set the travel speed in the computer
I read a lot of people had issues with everlast but it does seem like they got their stuff sorted in 2020-2021. I have not had an issue with my plug like those guys with the 17-18 even some 19 & older models
Yeah it’s pretty simply, everlast should have a write up on how to pin their cnc port to the Langmuir. If you can message me on Instagram i can send you more info & photos of my setup
So how do you like the machine now it's been awhile I want to buy one I need something for my service truck other than a cutting torch but I need something reliable something I can use everyday so consumables how quick does it go through consumables I know it's a lot of questions thanks in advance
The plasma has been an awesome for the money. I have only had one issue and that was one of the air line coming loose internally.. it just needed a legitimate worm clamp and not a tension clamp. Life of consumables really depends on what your doing with it & obviously air quality. The drier the air the better it is for the consumables. I ONLY buy consumables from everlast. I have to buy them in bulk because no one locally cares them in stock. I think that’s the only downfall. I’ve used it to cut 20ga all the way up to 1/2” successfully
I have the thc control module, just simply wired it to my plug on the rear of the plasma along with its firing switch. I sometimes have issues with my thc on thinner material though. I mainly use it for thicker less complex parts

Very cool man, so true about the cad work. I operated a cnc Amada laser for about 6mo and it was a lot of fun. Sadly quit the job for other reasons.

Did you use the gouge feature on the 52i ?
A few times but mainly used tip saver mode
What cnc controller are you using what software interface are you using mach?
I am using fire control, that comes with my Langmuir table. I have not used mach3 yet.. i used fusion 360 for my cad & sheetcam for CAM
what size tip are you using for that small cut?
I use a lot of 1.1 for thicker material & 0.8 for the thinner stuff
Do you have to set the voltage for different thicknesses on the machine , or dose the software do that?
You set the amperage on the machine rated for the thickness of the material. The only thing the computer is doing it telling it when to fire on and off. I set the travel speed in the computer
How was it wiring up the CNC plug? I have the same machine and plan to get a table. Alot of folks claim to have issues getting it wired right

cCan you help me wire this beast up im kind off at a loss?@@TheDogHousetv
Came here for the plasma cutter and heard s13 👍
hey buddy I have the same setup as you can you help me figure out how to wire the 62i to the table and vim box?

Did u have to do anything special for your thc?
I have the thc control module, just simply wired it to my plug on the rear of the plasma along with its firing switch.
