As I said before, it is possible to use microphone effects which makes for example echoic sounds. She's still performing live. That's even the rule, you have to perform live. I remember watching this and how my mum (who never really pays much attention to Eurovision) was engrossed in this song and when voting started told me to cast a vote for Sweden on her behalf, we all cheered when it got 12 points and when it won we all danced to the final performance. I’m from Sweden, and every year we have a competition to select the song for esc. We have 8 songs every Saturday for 4 weeks. Euforia was on the first Saturday, and as soon as everyone heard it we pretty much knew it would be the song we sent to Eurovision. Such a legendary performance😍

I had heard this song on the radio a while back and never knew it was a Eurovision song. It wasn't until 2023 Eurovision that lead me back to this lovely song. It is a bit like being reunited with your crush. It was love at first sight.
Dude I got teary eyed listening to this too. I feel like in this song a spirit of a siren takes over Loreens body. A fairytale creature told to have an unfathomably beutiful voice, one that can only be brought justice by hearing it cuz trying to imagine it would be an insult as it wouldn't even come close.

I’m a Swede, I remember seeing this number for the first time in our qualifications completions Melodifestivalens semi finale, and saying to my sister “yeah, she is definitely going to win Mello.” Then thinking for a second “… she might actually win the whole thing” as in the whole Eurovision. Never had that experience before or since with a Melodifestivalen. She was so obviously amazing, you could right from the start see that this is something special that has the potential to go all the way.
No, Sam, this isn't the best eurovision song ever. It sounds like every other euro dance tune. BUT Loreen did a Fantastic performance. Also I love where she sings "thank you BakuuUUU" at the end. Loreen seems really thoughtful about the people and places where she performs. I read that Loreen was the only Eurovision contestant to meet with Azerbaijan human rights activists that year. I agree. It's a great song (one of my favourite ESC songs of all time) but her vocal performance is also what won this for her. I can't imagine many people being able to sing a difficult song like this perfectly live while dancing, too.

I never realised how crazy this performance actually is, just her, all alone for most of the performance, with her beautiful voice and some very strange dance moves. Also this adorable smile at 0:25 when she realises the audience is feeling it.

No, Sam, this isn't the best eurovision song ever. It sounds like every other euro dance tune. BUT Loreen did a Fantastic performance. Also I love where she sings "thank you BakuuUUU" at the end. Loreen seems really thoughtful about the people and places where she performs. I read that Loreen was the only Eurovision contestant to meet with Azerbaijan human rights activists that year. So, much love to Loreen!
