Those are great uses for the trash bags and a few I had not taken into consideration when planning my kit. I will have to put a box of the bags in my backpack also and I have a large box of them already at home as extra storage bags. I hope this tip help others who are putting together a bugout kit. Body bags for sleeping bags. Just don't get taken for dead. Seriously though body bags could work as sleeping bags. Another useful type of bag are Ziploc or freezer food bags.

Io uso i sacchi neri in moltissime occasioni..come poncho, poi ci ho coperto il sacco a pelo e ho dormito sotto la pioggia..ho usato i sacchi neri imbottiti di spugna per appoggiarmi con il sacco a pelo..metto il sacco a pelo dentro il sacco nero come custodia..uso il sacco nero ripeno di cuscini come poltrona a sacco

On a trip to the new Yankee Stadium a few years back, I stuffed a few g-bags in my back pockets in case of rain. Sure came in handy.
