Pepperoni and Sausage Supreme Pizza by Rachel cooks with love Crust: 2 1/2 cups of flour, *start with 1 1/2 cups 2 tsp sugar 2 1/4 tsp instant dry yeast 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp basil 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1. Mix the dry ingredients well, making sure the yeast is well incorporated. 2. Add 2 T extra virgin olive oil 3. 1 1/3 cups very warm water, about 100 degrees. 4. Add the last 1 cup of flour. The dough will be a little sticky, just keep adding a bit of flour at a time until it starts pulling away from the bowl. 5. At this point, continue mixing by hand. Knead until no longer sticky. Don't overwork the dough. If the dough is still sticky, you can work in a bit more flour, a tablespoon or so at a time. 6. Using a bit of olive oil, brush it around a bowl so as the dough rises it will not stick. Put the dough in the bowl, turning it over once so both sides have a bit of oil on it. Cover it with damp, moistened paper towls and place in a warm area, free from drafts. Set timer for 30 minutes. Sauce: In a pot add 1/3 cup of water and 1 small can tomato paste. Whisk together. ADD: 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp onion powder 1/2 tsp dried oregano 1/2 tsp dried basil 1 T parmesan cheese Mix well. On medium heat, stir the sauce until it starts to bubble, continue to stir for 1 minute. Turn off heat and set aside the sauce. Preparing the meat: To a skillet add 1 lb. sweet Italian ground sausage (you can use regular sausage) 1/2 tsp fennel seeds, crushed 1/2 tsp crushed dried basil 1/2 tsp onion powder salt and pepper to taste Brown the sausage until done. Remove from heat. Bake: 1. If using a pizza stone, preheat oven to 525 degrees If using a regular pan, preheat oven to 475 degrees. 2. Place the dough on parchment paper and gently press the air out. 3. With this dough you will not need to use a rolling pin. With your hands, start at the center and spread it out. If needed, put a little flour on your hands so the dough will not stick. Press the dough out as big as you like. Leave a little ridge of dough at the edges, pressing down with your fingers to emphasize the ridge. 4. With a fork, prick the dough to keep air pockets from forming. 5. Spread the sauce on the dough with a spoon. Do not overdo it, just enough where it's covers nicely. 6. Grate 8 oz. mozzarella cheese over the sauce. 7. Add sliced green bell peppers, onions and mushrooms on top of the cheese. 8. Sprinkle the cooked sausage and then drained black olives over the veges. 9. Layer the pepperoni around the pizza next and grate some more cheese on top. 10. Bake for 10 minutes. 11. Before cutting, let pizza rest for 3 minutes. Cut into about 8 slices. Hope this is helpful.

I use a lightly oiled large cast iron skillet. It makes a delicious crusty crust if you cook it on med high heat on a burner for 3 min, then put it in the oven and bake it.❤ I saute my mushrooms in butter to remove the moisture, and it gives the mushrooms a nutty flavor. Your pizza looks delicious!❤

Ms. Rachel, I just made this pizza for the first time today. This was absolutely so delicious and so flavorful!! This recipe definitely gives the "Big Box" pizza joints a definite run for their money! Did you get hold of their "secret" recipe for their pizzas? It sure seems like it to me! This is better than theirs any day! Loved this recipe and also loved your pot roast recipe too...made it for Christmas and it was a hit also. Good Day, Rachel, I also do my pizza at home, my dough is pretty exactly like yours with spices inside, but my sauce is made with what I do prepared around the end of August or the first week of September, I do three batches of 22 liters of sauce with meat, that I keep in Mason jar, the filling of my pizzas is pretty similar to yours with variations of course. I really love that your videos are so easy, you show us step by step and you are an amazing great cook. Rachel, Thank you, for your recipes.

Hi Miss Rachel, I made this pizza 2 nights ago and it was the best pizza my family and I have ever had. They LOVED it. Addingthe spices to the dough definitely made a difference and my kids noticed. I used spicy Italian sausage because that’s what I had on hand but everything else was exactly how you said to make it. It’s going to be a staple in our family from now on. Saturday night is always pizza night. We always order out but I’m not a fan of pizza. It never has much flavor and no matter where we order from it always taste the same. I decided to surprise my hubby and make this pizza and I’m a glad I did! It was amazing. Hubby loved it, said it was the best pizza he has ever had. 🤗. I really enjoyed it and could actually taste the wonderful seasonings. Thank you for sharing your wonderful recipes.

Alright?!! I made the recipe for the pizza pie. Then the meat . Then the tomato sauce with the added seasoning. I also used taco salsa n taco tomato sauce. With hunts pasta sauce . Cooked down as you instructed. Chopped my cheese . Parmesan cheese . . So rich in flavor! I made the pie size the palm of my hand . . Using a countertop oven / toaster. . Made 5 individual pizza pies. Plus made 5. As bread rolls. &. 2. 5x8 pizza pies loaded. Really have enjoyed this recipe!
I like the parchment paper because her pizza stone stays clean and beautiful...mine is all stained from the many times sauce, cheese and pizza juices bubbled onto it!

I then realized you do that a lot. Thank you! I think spices are the most difficult to learn only because unless you are trained its challenging to know what to use. This recipe definitely gives the "Big Box" pizza joints a definite run for their money! Did you get hold of their "secret" recipe for their pizzas? It sure seems like it to me! This is better than theirs any day! Loved this recipe and also loved your pot roast recipe too...made it for Christmas and it was a hit also. Good Day, Rachel, I also do my pizza at home, my dough is pretty exactly like yours with spices inside, but my sauce is made with what I do prepared around the end of August or the first week of September, I do three batches of 22 liters of sauce with meat, that I keep in Mason jar, the filling of my pizzas is pretty similar to yours with variations of course. I really love that your videos are so easy, you show us step by step and you are an amazing great cook. Rachel, Thank you, for your recipes.

Love that gal's cookbook idea, perfect title! Would really like to see you answer a cooking question someone may have asked about cooking or baking maybe at the beginning or end of your video. For instance: can you make this Pizza dough to the finished ball stage then wrap and freeze them to have on hand? Pizza looks great will try for sure!

I made this pizza 2 nights ago and it was the best pizza my family and I have ever had. They LOVED it. Addingthe spices to the dough definitely made a difference and my kids noticed. I used spicy Italian sausage because that’s what I had on hand but everything else was exactly how you said to make it. It’s going to be a staple in our family from now on. Saturday night is always pizza night. We always order out but I’m not a fan of pizza. It never has much flavor and no matter where we order from it always taste the same. I decided to surprise my hubby and make this pizza and I’m a glad I did! It was amazing. Hubby loved it, said it was the best pizza he has ever had. 🤗. thank you rachel, this video may have saved my pizza baking days like you have no idea. seriously, i have used my bread maker now for over 15 yrs to make pizza crust and i now know why the crust could be hard. perhaps it's over worked! i will be making one soon, and my recipe is basically the same as yours minus the flavours, great idea by the way. i love your videos xo

Alright?!! I made the recipe for the pizza pie. Then the meat . Then the tomato sauce with the added seasoning.
I also used taco salsa n taco tomato sauce. With hunts pasta sauce . Cooked down as you instructed.
Chopped my cheese . Parmesan cheese . . So rich in flavor! I made the pie size the palm of my hand . . Using a countertop oven / toaster. . Made 5 individual pizza pies. Plus made 5. As bread rolls. &. 2. 5x8 pizza pies loaded.

Looks so delicious. I think you need to get a pizza paddle to slide the pizza on and off the stone. You could then eliminate the parchment paper. :)
I like the parchment paper because her pizza stone stays clean and beautiful...mine is all stained from the many times sauce, cheese and pizza juices bubbled onto it!
