Man first time that guitar hits I was charging a base on a Marauder all guns blazing, this song knocks me off my seat!
I had a similar experience, I was going through a valley to a pirate assassination target and was fighting small things like tanks and turrets. That guitar lick kicked in right when an AC/20 smacked my Lancemate in a raven and I watched his entire weapons box just explodes.
The AI was ontop of the Valley with a Cyclops. My Marauder 2R couldn’t get its U/AC5 to elevate enough and, to make things worse, a banshee and victor was bearing down on us.
The game doesn’t always do things like that to you but, when it does, it feels glorious
Absolutely. I was taking my BLK-P-KNT Black Knight through a warzone mission. And just as I think that I've had all my lance can stand, the big lick comes in and I forgot all about the risk. All that remained was the heat gauge and the next wave. I didn't snap out of it till I heard 'ammunition depleted' for my AC/5.
Part of me still wanted to keep going and run dry the SRMs too, only stopped because I realized everyone else was missing limbs.
For me I was destroying a base with my new hero Quickdraw, I heard this and immediately knew I was gonna love that mission.
This sound track grows on you
The fact this plays in wasteland missions is such a fitting addition. With miles of destroyed vehicles and mechs, ruined cities, and all we're fighting for is the rock left behind on it, its such a cool atmosphere.
This is a fucking opera. This fucking slaps

Before I found this my favorite was One Less Enemy.
The 5:11 track is so Harkonnen,it should be in another game after Emperor Battle for Dune but since project never took serious development many tracks underwent to Mechwarrior 5 instead....
