That was a beautiful job, and that looks like a fine vacuum pump! HVAC tools have come a long way in 15 - 20 years. Thanks for Video 😀
Purchasing a product is the only meaningful endorsement. All the rest is just hot air. Good video.
Good job Curtis.
It's a nice recovery machine you should use a inline dryer on it To help protect it... a small filter dryer works wonders...
the recovery machine SUCKS i am now busy with my 3rd.. Each one break after 1 month of normal use .. Avoid buying this machine. if my 3rd device fails i will move back to other brand.
You should run the Trublue 3/4' hose for pulling a vacuum. It is amazing how far down and how fast they can pull the vacuum. I have the same pump and I would be down to 200 by the time you were at 2000. You will never pull for 25 minutes, maybe 10 at most. It is amazing upgrade. Time is money in our field.
I have the tru blue evac kit and it has changed my life. Saved me from so many days of long evacs.
@@TheWiery322 Most definitely, I run the Advanced kit which is two hoses these days. I have now see one system pulled to 37.9 because I got sidetracked. It only needs less than 5 minutes and run s decay test and pull more to get it all out.
By the way years ago I learnt to solder the short pieces to a longer piece. Doesn't take long to do not as many burnt fingers. Also I have always liked the concrete pad . I've seen the others crack after time and not always level. Have a great day . A burnt system why didn't you flush system at least. It would still be in lines and coil . Have a great day .
I just installed a Micro-Air EasyStart on my 10 yr old 2ton A/C-heat Goodman condenser. I was sounding rough on startup. The EasyStart really made a big difference in noise level on startup. Well worth the money! I’m no HVAC guy, just a do it yourselfer and it was fairly easy to wire up.
I have they exact vacuum pump. It’s a beast. I loved it
Feildpiece is always a good product. I have the 360 gauge and the SC680 Feildpiece products. Love the products and customer service. Saving up for both the vacuum pump and recovering machine and both will be Feildpiece products. Its amazing how fast that was on the recovery and vacuum process. Great video on the machines and explanations on each Feildpiece product. Great to watch for sure. Thank you.
Real nice job my friend. It looked like you weren't too happy about that concrete slab. In my area you would be crazy not to have one. lol
Another great professional repair
Nice work hope doctor visit a simple fix because we got to keep on rolling man
Whenever it’s too hot or cold to properly charge I go off of VSAT and LSAT for the time being, then go back to make sure it’s running well.
Great tools and job well done
Great installation! Keep up the hard work! really enjoy your videos
Thanks getting ready to purchase one. Not inexpensive wehen just starting new.
with the amount of mulch and tree junk i always see i am kind of surprised you do not switch to the high , or tall pad to get the system's up out of the trash??
awesome video's love the content.
liked it, good job Curtis.
Good job. You keep all your stuff very organized. Hope you can’t see the the size of your brazing rod on your burnt finger blister lol
Good Job.. Would have been a good place to try your Stay-Brite 8 again. With the wright flux this time. I think you will like it once you start using it.
seen how those work on HVACR's channel, they work well.
I got the vp87 she’s a beast 👊👊👊
It’s a fantastic product
the packout, nice touch
9:24, that is the correct way to handle a Goodman, send it to the junk pile where it belongs.
excelente video una pregunta tu vacuometro no se daño saludos
Yo puedo limpiarlo con isopropyl alcohol.
el mio se me daño no hace lecturas y cuando prende baja a 4 micron
Nice content
sorry i have some silly question. the low voltage (24 v.) side of the system is dc or is it ac? thanks..
AC
In your videos it definitely looks like you don’t do enough to protect those service valves… even a wet rag would be good enough…
What adapter do you use for the Makita battery on the DeWalt fan? I’ve been looking at picking up a fan but don’t like Makitas lineup. Thanks for the review!
It is a Makita to dewalt adapter I found on Amazon
How’s ur recovery machine been holding up? I need to get one
Are you brazing or soldering I didn't see you put Flux on the copper pipes
Brazing
The phosphorus in the sil-fos brazing rods is the fluxing agent.
What pressures do you use when brazing. I was told 8 and 20 for oxyacetylene by my team leader
I did use 5-10. But regulator I use is automatic. No adjustment
@@HVACGUY what regulator is that?
yes but 410a is a problem to recover better have a bag of ice R22 no problem to recover
Suction line drier?
It's a heat pump. Don't think they make a bi-directional suction filter/drier.
Company has had 6 of them.go out in first couple of uses. Will never use fieldpiece again. 100% junk.
