Thank you for the kind words and review of our publication. Corps of Engineers campgrounds are my favorite, too. I also enjoy finding the locks and dams to watch barge traffic on the Mississippi River and others.
You are most welcome! This is our #1 resource when looking for a campground and has been extremely helpful. We tell everyone we can about this book! Thank you for watching!
I got my RV "Camping in Corps of Engineers Parks" yesterday. I love this book. I found a lot of COE Parks that are on some of the BEST fishing Lakes in America. I also, got my Senior Discount Card that cuts the price in Half. Some Camping spots are $8.00 a day with my Senior Disount Card. You two have been a BIG help to me and are gonna save me a lot of $$$$. Thanks for making this Video.
The two best we have seen that from are both in Florida. WP Franklin Lock and Dam and the St Lucie Locks, both in South Florida. However, I would imagine any COE park located near a high traffic waterway or canal (that is not a lake) would be great! Thanks for watching!
You guys lived in Stuart? We lived in Palm City from 1997-2007! We also stayed at that COE park in Stuart at the locks about 3 years ago. Thanks for sharing!
You can find them on recreation.gov but unfortunately they do not do monthly rates. Most are a 2 week max per visit. But all of that info can be found on the website.

Awesome! It’s been our biggest resource on the road!
@@JouppiOutdoors we are not full time yet and can only spend time in Florida. We are taking 8 days in Dec to go to SC. Do you work from the road.
Yes, my wife and I both work remotely. We do digital marketing and website management.
@@JouppiOutdoors I would love to find a job I could do remotely
Can you stay there if you are not affiliated with the military?
Yes, absolutely! They are managed by the Army Corps of Engineers but are not military campgrounds.
@@JouppiOutdoors awesome. Thank you. Do I just call them? Do they do monthly rates?
You can find them on recreation.gov but unfortunately they do not do monthly rates. Most are a 2 week max per visit. But all of that info can be found on the website.
