This episode is so special to me. The music, the conversations they have, the anticipation of going back to Shiganshina… It always made me feel so nostalgic about our heroes journey. I love it.
I think the scene where they're being lifted by the elevators to the top of the wall, and the people star cheering for them is on the Top 10 for sure. I mean, it's right up there with Eren activating the Coordinate in 2x12.
It has so much depth and meaning and feelings to it. Great episode for sure.

This arc right here, this is what we live for. One of the greatest arcs in anime history.
I read this somewhere and noticed in the previous episode that- Eren was somewhat colder and seemed to lose confidence that is when Jean tried to trigger him in two instances but Eren didn't care. But in this episode(after hearing about his mother), Jean tries the same thing and ended up fighting each other
As a manga reader I respect the anime watchers man... Imagine staying sane after that after credit scene

I think Levi was just sad sitting there alone because he has no friends left basically and seeing armin, eren and mikasa must remind him of his friends that he had. be it his old levi squad or those two from the ova's. I feel so bad for him he deserves better. also I'm not counting Erwin as his "friend".
I might be annoying, but I count Erwin as his boyfriend 😭 Damn the way Levi cares about him.

A perfect ending for S3P1...funny moments, serious moments and an Erwin who pays any price to achieve his goal...everything serves as a set up for the second half and oh boy...even though the set up promises a lot...no one is ready...No one
Titan is just the tool for telling a story and grasping viewer's attention. This show is about sending a message to the world. You would know exactly what i mean next year.

I remember the feeling when the glitch happened. Whenever a season is finished I usually sit there recall and staring at the ending song and the glitch came it.
I was literally waiting for the: “wait who is that?” I just knew someone would say it.

BTW, the look on Armin's and Jean's faces when they realize Eren is taking Jean's bait was great. They seemed happy for that one second to see Eren more like his former self again ... until they started their old fighting of course (at least they took Connie's advice and didn't hit each other in the face).

I really love this episode, it was really the best way to prepare what is about to come. The piano version of the song is so emotional. Prepare yourselves, S3P2 is beyond epic. I agree with many of the comments; it is one of the best if not the best arc in anime history

Season 3 part 2 is the best anime season in history. Period. And no, it's not even my subjective opinion. This is a fact. In the top 1000 list of Best TV episodes of all time on imdb, there are THREE episides from that season of AOT just in top 10, one of them even occupied number 1 spot for years. That beats breaking bad, game of thrones, not to mention other anime. Brace yourselves guys. Every episode will hit like a ton of bricks from now on.
