I love the cigarette idea a lot. Also I'm pretty sure the stiffness comes from his body instantly shifting when the button is pressed!
True that’s a little stiff too, but this was just something in the walking animation alone. It’s his arm and leg moving forward together on the same side instead of opposite sides!
