@@capmgn yeah but I think the bug with cargo elevators are linked with the switch of physic grid. On a planet or moon or space station, the physic grid is the same, so It wouldn't be such a problem.

I sure hope Jax McCleary gets a permanent place inside Star Citizen for the release version. Not necessarily as a major NPC, but still, as someone whom players can visit; as a nod to everything McCleary will have done for the game by then. I love the performance of his voice actor!

Yep. I think there's an episode of Top Gear where the main guy goes up in an F-15 and has the same experience. I've read somewhere that people who go on such flights are instructed to eat bananas. It's not because there's some nutrient in bananas that help you with the G-forces. It's because the bananas taste the same coming back up as when they went down. It's pretty much a guarantee that you will vomit on one of these flights because you are not trained to handle the G-forces and pilots take a lot of time getting accustomed to those stresses.

IKR. They should make some variants. Military, minelayer, hauler, space-cruise/home, etc. It's multi-role as-is, sure, but in lore the Carrack was originally a military ship, so there's no reason not to spit out some variants with more specific uses. It'd make the Carrack-fest less of an eyesore if there were some variation.
@@jrddoubleu514 no, variants idea is rejected , Carrack should have everything inside. to make variants means you have to give one thing to a variant and not give it to the others and this is completely against the Carrack design concepts. Carrack has 3 modular spaces underneath where we can customize them the way we want.

It's still a Carrak, but a variant in terms of what it's 'core' intended functionality is. I can conceive/imagine is, and how use these different variants in game. Just because one player group may have a tantrum over the removal of rooms and functionality, doesn't mean the rest will. I would like to see variants of the Carrack.

The F8 Lightning. Short answer: the future. You will be able to fly them in Squadron 42 when it ever gets finished. Eventually you will be able to fly them in Star Citizen after you complete Squadron 42.

I imagine there will be a wipe when the game releases (so don't kill yourself grinding for them) but I don't even remember the last time there was a wipe... was like, last year?

I got that game for 4 years now. And EVERY SINGLE TIME i will try a new version there will be a bug after 30m/1h that make me ALT+F4. Like last one fo example : go from olisar to arccorp. Board your Roc in andromeda. Reach back Olisar. Collision issue with Roc and then it disapear.... 30 minutes of my life lost.... That game will never be finished. From the day you understand that i think you got it all
I have poor performance this patch and they really need to start fixing gameplay if they wanna add more stuff in the future. I cannot stand having 30 frames with a 2000 dollar system in some places. It just does not make sense.
@Millionere Millionere Screenshots are 1 thing. Gameplay is another. I hope you know that. You can always make pretty screenshots but this game is not a screenshot simulator which is why it is far away from being complete. If they do not tackle these issues early on, it will bite back in the future when technology surpasses the code.
