Much respect to the grandmaster of techno music. He did this with no software, a mixer the size of a room, and managed to invent beats that were ahead of it's time that I would play today in a party.

This sounds like the future that we never got unfortunately. Im 26 and wish that we were living in the 2020s that this kind of music envisioned. Giorgio Moroder invented the music of the 2020s that we should’ve got, but unfortunately we never got. Giorgio Moroder was living in 2024 (the ideal 2024) while everyone else was living in 1977. I can only imagine how disappointed people who were young in 1977 are disappointed by how the 2020s actually are versus what they predicted. Im not sure how old you are but I am 26, and the 2020s suck.

Moroder has been the unique and only pioneer in the electronic dance music. He was the forerunner: the maestro of this genre. For instance, the 1970s "progressive disco fever" wouldn't be existed without his skilful effort and genius. Steve Rubell and Ian Schrager, as fast as possible, understood (in April i977) what the Studio 54 would have been without this pulsing new modern sort of a distinctive gig onto the hardwood,/parquet multi-social gathering spot. It's all history.

I was 14 when my older brother took me to a disco in Houston Tx. PARADE!!!! This song was playing and I was taken to the back door for entry . All of a sudden it was louder and louder . My brother and his friends climbed up on these huge speakers and danced with tambourines. We danced until it was time to leave. Incredible sound. I Miss those days.💃🏻💃🏻🕺🏾

wikipedia: Giovanni Giorgio Moroder (Italian: ,born 26 April 1940), singer, songwriter, DJ and record producer. Moroder is frequently credited with pioneering Italo disco and electronic dance music.
When in Munich in the 1970s, he started his own record label called Oasis Records, which several years later became a subdivision of Casablanca Records. He produced singles for Donna Summer during the late-1970s disco era, including "Bad Girls", "Last Dance", "Love to Love You Baby", "No More Tears (Enough Is Enough)", "Dim All the Lights", "MacArthur Park", "Hot Stuff", "On the Radio", and "I Feel Love", and is the founder of the former Musicland Studios in Munich, a recording studio used by many artists including Electric Light Orchestra, Led Zeppelin, Queen and Elton John. Moroder also composed the soundtrack for the film Midnight Express, which won an Academy Award and contained the international hit "Chase".
Moroder also produced a number of electronic disco songs for the Three Degrees, two albums for Sparks, and a handful of songs on Bonnie Tyler's album Bitterblue as well as her 1985 single "Here She Comes". The only way to make new good music is to go back to the styles of was so popular and still is memorable and popular now, like the late 70s to the early 2000s, and make new music with old styles that everyone loves.
