    You two are turning into awesome sailors. You can really see your confidence skyrocketing from the original trip with friends till now. Super inspiring. Can't wait to see how the rest of the crossing went.

    Thanks for the video. I am new here, but I am enjoying following your travels up the east coast. Also glad to see you captured the kindness of Atlantic Canada. As a newcomer, it would be nice some time, if you could share your back story and how you got to where you are now. In the meantime, thanks for allowing us into your world. Safe travels.

      Ahoy Alan, thanks for the kind words! A backstory of our lives would be a great idea! Spoiler alert: there isn't a lick of sailing experience in that background, lol. But all kinda of adventures and fun 🥰. Hope you enjoy our travels! ✌️😍🐼

    Usually the instructions say, the fuel pump must be installed on a 30-60 degree angle.
    I saw that your fuel pump on the new install was installed at 0 deg. , horizontally.
    Perhaps that was the problem with the original fuel pump, just wondering...

    • @OuterPassage
      @OuterPassage  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I tried that with the old, made no difference. Even force fed fuel above it! Oh well, the new one works a charm 🥰

      Sailing Panda Man that was a fast comment/ reply.. I’m watching this from my kitchen here 40 miles west of St Johns Newfoundland.
      Sorry screwed up your plans in Newfoundland... but you handled it well!
      Where are you right now?

      Sailing Panda my wife and I sailed from Newfoundland , to The Azores, then Maderia, , to the Canary Islands then across to San Maarten in the Carribean,. let me know if you need any advice, but it looks like you guys got it well under control..
      btw autopilot or windvane? I put an entirely new autopilot on our IP 35 before we left, no problems with it so far...

      Nice! No windvane unfortunately, but so far good luck with the electronic autopilot. We are looking forward to warmer climates...your route was well suited for that!
