Disagree. People, like myself, who have in the past struggled with dandruff and dermatitis want more natural means towards combatting said bacteria and issues. The shampoos don't always help and in fact take off too much natural oils which make the problem worse. The shampoos such as medicinal do too much by taking too much bacteria off and when off the shampoo continue to make the problem worse. Etc. Some people have in fact found it beneficial to use apple cider vinegar in substitution of shampoo and conditioner. In our 1st world country it's no wonder we have so many issues bc we have taken away the nature in out lives and have injected unnatural products and artificial everything which causes more harm than good. I mean shampoos and conditioners and soap bars made from goat milk, honey, any natural product is way better than the artificial. I'd take apple cider over any of your medical products bc it just doesn't help in the long run. It doesn't and that's the hard truth.
That's true ..however their is a lot of natural base shampoo on the market that does not strip your hair of natural oils..however they are a little more expensive
Well I know of folks who do actually use ACV for their hair without the issues she is spouting. And use it for underarm smell. There is absolutely no reason to shampoo hair everyday. Do what works for YOU!!!
I’m in cosmetology school and work at a high end salon. I’ve never met stylists suggest using it as a replacement, though I’m sure they’re out there. Using ACV is great for helping remove buildup from well water (heavy metals) which can weigh your hair down, cause dry/itchy scalp and reduce the effectiveness of styling products. Even so, my salon recommends using it ONCE A MONTH and using a shampoo after the ACV. They also recommend a water softener to help.

Some natural remedies do actually work better than the things bought at the drugstore. Best try it for yourself before discarding with the idea all together.

It’s nature’s gift ppl use also any thing fermented is great for the body so use up kefir and other fermented foods for your gut will love it guys don’t let anyone tell you do your own research
My first few weeks on accutane were a nightmare. My scalp had so much dead skin and it looked like dandruff. I tried so many shampoos until I tried the ACV rinse and it got rid of the flakes. I only did it once maybe twice in addition to shampoo and lots of conditioner.
Vinegar is an acid. If you put it inside a rusty gas tank it will remove the rust down to the bare steel.
You tell them Dr.Dray!
But prehistoric people didn’t wash their hair with “surfactants.” They did fine.
Some natural remedies do actually work better than the things bought at the drugstore. Best try it for yourself before discarding with the idea all together.
😂😅You are Hilariously Genius 😅
My goodness you will have content for life just debunking the viral nonsense lol
I love a good apple cider vinegar rinse for my hair! However, I need a good wash 2-3 times a week 😂
Will Apple cider vinegar rinse help with the hard water? If I rinse with that after my shower, can it make my hair softer and less frizzy?
Dr Dray I just love you!!’ You crack me up!
But why I wonder, her hair looks healthy. I wonder at what she’ll think it’ll do? Other than make your head stink.
Apple cider wear it as a cologne😂
I love ACV but only in my salad 🥗
Love your channel keep up the great work !!!
Seriously. Cider Vinegar for EVERYTHING!! My son drinks a cup a day. I just shake my head.
Not against ACV, she even says. It's against thinking ACV is a cure all.
Fact: All types of vinegars are acids.
Speculation: Pouring acid on your head more than 2 days in a row is a bad idea. Perhaps PH balanced shampoo at least every other day would be a better option.
😭😭😂😂 oh please Dr.Dray you crack me up with your facial expression. Please do a video for afro and textured hair on sulphate free shampoo, I’ve done with people saying people with our hair type should use sulphate containing shampoo, but it dries my hair out severely!
Then finds what works for you..if it's drying your hair stop using it...there is a lot of options on the market now
bro I've been doing this for a year and the amount of dandruff and itchiness had been decreased significantly
I did not shampoo for 3 years, used baking soda with water and also apple cider vinegar. had no problems
Not washing my hair often enough is what caused me to have seborrheic dermatitis and now I'm stuck with it for the rest of my life.
Try using coconut oil (organic, unrefined, extra Virgin). It’s sold all over now. Work it in to your scalp and let it sit as long as you can. Overnight would be great, but you’d need a bag or something covering your head before going to bed. Then wash it off. It may take a few warm washes to get it out, because it is oil. It’ll really help your scalp, because it is anti-fungal.
@oORiseAboveOo
Yes I do that before wash day
Not shampooing doesn't equal not washing - she said replacing shampoo with acv - so many people don't shampoo their hair and all is well ...
I would never put apple cider vinegar in my car tires , that's dumb
Thank you Dr Gray for educating this TikToker 😆❤️✌️
i have not used shampoo since june 2017. i scrub my scalp with baking soda, rinse, apply ACV, rinse, condition, rinse. i also have not used anything but baking soda on my face.
Yes apple cider vinegar strips the hair and makes it cleaner than shampoo, good to use once a month shampoo leave buildup on your hair use apple cider vinegar you will feel and see the difference it’s like a detox
Love the comb mic 🎤😏
THE FACE AT THE END!!! 😂😂 i’m CACKLING
We get sebum on our head, I’m so disgusted….I wash my hair everyday. Yeah I know they say that’s not healthy. Whatever, been doing it all my life, I’m 54 and will do it the rest of my life as long as I’m able. 30 days is just nasty!!!!
Do what works for you
I do this a couple times a year but differently. I make a paste with baking soda and water. I use this to scrub my scalp. After rinsing well, I follow with the diluted apple cider vinegar.
I agree with you about apple cider vinegar, people are NUTS. I shampoo my hair daily only because i sweat a lot due to pain. Itchy scalp is a real thing especially if you workout daily or sweat like me. Please people, shampoo your hair. We aren't living in the 1700s.
Apple cider vinegar actually does help with sebum buildup. It’s acidic and microbial. You get the best results out of raw apple cider vinegar.
The one thing that I do use apple cider vinegar for is when I go for my mammogram since I can't use any deodorant or lotion on my upper arm chest or under arms the pits I put apple cider vinegar on my pits, get the mammogram 🤗 and I hope to this week 🤗
But what if you use baking soda and coconut oil on your scalp first? 🤔
Genius decision keeping the face at the end, love it 🤍
ACV is amazing for indigestion, 2 tablespoons with 16 oz
I thought the second woman was the first after using the Apple Cider Vinegar at first! 😂
Dear god your skin is fking amazing 😭😭
Also, it acidic, while hair is fairly neutral. It’s going to eat at the hair’s cortex and using for 30 days will cause immense damage in the long term. You’ll be wondering “What happened to my hair?” 6 months later (maybe sooner or later than 6 months, but it WILL happen). Thinking it’s something you recently done, but it was was really that whole washing with apple cider vinegar challenge you signed your hair up for.
Your not suppose to use the vinegar on your hair like that ..its diluted in water and should be only used on was day so it does not damage your hair.....anything you over use would have side effects
These people are crazy to use vinegar for 30 days straight in thier hair....
I used an apple cider vinegar rinse once in my highlighted hair, hoping to get rid of buildup. Blew dry as usual. A day or two later, I noticed my hair felt very coarse and looked brassy, especially the highlighted areas. All broke off, about an inch from my scalp…turns out I burned the hell out of it. Did a lot of crying for about two months. Never again will I put apple cider vinegar on my hair.
Am sure you used it wrong..its not the vinegar is what you did❤
@@semoneg2826 it was probably a combination of the vinegar, bleached highlights, heat styling. I probably didn’t rinse the vinegar out well enough. No matter the how or why - not taking a chance with vinegar again! Besides, found a great product that works better than anything else I’ve ever used to get rid of hard water and styling product buildup: Malibu Hard Water treatment. Little pack of powder, you mix it with a little bit of water, put it on clean wet hair, then shampoo out. Works great.
I been using acv daily a very small amount diluted with water and I wash it out after about 15 mins n deep condition its been growing my hair like a weed ❤ scalp is also clean and clear ❤
If your going to make fun of people who use apple cider vinegar use something somebody actually say or have said nobody ever said us apple cider vinegar on a flat tire.
Apple cider vinegar healed my adult acne
I wash my hair every week and only had scalp and surrounding skin issues, like what the Dr described, when using apple cider vinegar products. Had to throw all the products away.
I tried your idea of filling my tire up with ACV. I don't think this works like you think it does.
I got rid of a patch of skin cancer on my forehead w/ ACV.
But what did people do before shampoo was a thing then 🤔
I didn't even hear the rest of it because I was laughing about the flat tire 😂
The expert knows. Love you Dr. Dray! ❤
It’s not a good look that acv lady’s hair looks so great, while critic’s hair is covered up😂
Dr. Dray spewing facts with snark for breakfast 😂
One thing no one mentions is acv is acidic & can burn your scalp if not diluted properly. Then your scalp burns , dries up & flakes lol.
Yes😊
Who the hell told you to put apple cider vinegar in flat tires?
