As others have pointed out, There are some SHORT COMINGS with the Quality of the brake / rotor replacement service that you received. I will make a list of the things that I would have expected a certified shop would have completed. Here goes: Don't let that caliper hang on the brake hose, Wipe the rotor surface with brake clean or compatible solvent to remove any protective coatings,, oils ect. Clean all that brake dust and rust from the calipers, caliper bracket and wheel hub/bearing, , clean that rust and dirt off the Hub Face where the rotors mounts to the hub, Clean the faces of each caliper piston mating surface that contacts the brake pad, and apply an anti-squeal compound, . Check the level and condition of the Brake Fluid in the master cylinder. As hard as you run that beast, I would have thought that they would have blead the brakes to insure that the brake fluid in the calipers was not overheated and contaminated or contain any air and LAST BUT NOT LEAST. Probably the most important part of the job; unless it was done off camera at a later time in the repair, Those Lug Nuts should have been properly TORQUED with a calibrated Torque Wrench to the correct spec. I'm sure its at least 130 pound feet of torque for each lug nut. If it were me, I would have that rechecked ASAP as hard as you drive. Another personal note; I strongly recommend that you properly Bed In Those Pads to the New Rotors. Have Fun brother and drive safe.
I own a Jeep SRT with 49K miles. I have never changed my front 6 piston brakes or rotors. But I find the pedal is pressing damn near to the floor now! Guess I better get it all checked out!
IF you literally cant tell when its metal to metal with the pads and rotors you probably should not be driving what you are driving or even driving at all. Unsafe driver either way. Sub to this channel if you want to watch pure idiocy.
Stay on top of the brake pad maintenance, The Rotors should be good for at least two pads changes , Those 2piece rotors are pricey!!! Home boy should not let the Calipers dangle by the brake line.
I am glad that you got your baby back on the road. Looking forward to more content. I just got my legmaker intake installed 2 weeks ago. @prosperwithjohnny
Good job letting that caliper just hang from the hose didn't wipe down rotors or clean anything....forget about torque values...🤣🤣 sure the rest of the job was 100%.....this is why you never leave your whip alone.
it does a bit. my tires and brakes were gone in about the same time after a bit more than one year (somewhere around 30k though). in the official dealership it cost me 3k for the tires and 4k for the brakes. means you gotta have 7k ready just for the tires and brakes every year. and it's also about 1k for the gas monthly (considering i owe just tng rt)
@@DenisShakhovsky I couldn't have that. If I'm not getting 50k from a set of maintained tires something is wrong. Even the breaks should last 30k. I'd do the breaks myself anyway but if it was wearing them out that quickly with just normal driving no towing I'd be looking into why. Your will be more money just because it's got the bigger tires and brakes than my RT but still that crazy.
@@DenisShakhovsky In what world did you pay 3k for tires for your vehicle? Mine cost less than 2k period rated at 190 mph. Eveyone gotta lie to people they dont know to try to feel good about something that isnt even real.
@@garysgarage.2841bc first thing everybody need to do after buying a car is balancing the tires in the good tire service. Hell no to the dealership. After getting the tires balanced properly they last pretty good for me
Real car guys do their own brake pads and rotors. You could saved yourself alot of money sir. Don't be scared next time sir, you got it

How you get them to let you video tape them.....?
Never let hose hang from calipers
I just have 392 Durango, but I swapped out my pads at 500 miles and running ceramic with no brake dust and they last 20 to 30k miles.

Yep still stock …. for now
I got 21k out of my tires and breaks are at 60 percent. Your leaning on that hellrango too hard dawg
My brakes and tires lasted about the same as his... factory alignment chewed up the first set of tires quick.
no that is not the wear and tear someone with 12,000 miles would have on their car lmao
normal on these sadly.
My dude, your tires were bald.
Lmao the first to ruin a car breaks and tires yes you are the first to do it on purpose for views
