I always loved the background and animations in this compared to most beat'em ups. Things like the escalator, stairs, vending machines, counters, display cases all give it a great sense of depth and a lot of iconic 80's nostalgia going on. From the guy window shopping, the guys playing arcade games and guys walking from the distance to the foreground are details that few other games offered. There is also a lot of subtle details like the water movement through the openings of the distant canal. I think the gameplay and characters is typical of most beat'em ups so I never really understood why so many place others in higher regard than this one when most of them have some bland environments. I don't see how offering more moves like SOR does really make dispatching enemies any more different or better. Smack, toss and move on they're all the same basically.
Burning Fight 2: A Private Little War! Opening prologue: In 1991, Duke Edwards, Ryu Saeba and Billy King dismantled the evil crime syndicates Casterora and Heiwagumi. Peace had been the result in Osaka.... Or so they thought... In 1997, surviving members of the Casterora and Heiwagumi have emerged and kidnapped Billy King and relatives of Ryu and Duke. Warned of this, Duke is met by Billy's daughter Jane who wants to rescue her father, and Nitou Shigenari, the cousin of ryuji who wanted out of Heiwagumi. Together these four might crackdown on the evil Casterora and Heiwagumi remnants.

I do NOT like the piano abuse in this video game! 1:16!
Neo Geo AES, CD and MVS?
Can anyone else jump on top of a train without actually climbing up to it? 9:04
That’s what I like about
Neo Geo games.
Some of the best colourful graphics and music 😎
wow in beginning...he just fed the machine with 25 credits. so FUCKING badass
IMAGINE IF THEY'D CALLED TOM ANDERSON, TAM ANDERSON!!!!!!!
It's not in the same class as Streets Of Rage or Final Fight but I like these sort of games. One thing the Wii got right was it's NeoGeo library.
