Hey guys. Bad News. My Mom wanted to know how to use the TaoTronics device so I showed her this video. She says it's crap and she doesn't understand anything. Very sorry to all of my fans, I promise to do better with my future tutorials. Momma, if you're reading this, I'm so sorry I disappointed you. #LoveYouMom
I disagree with the above statement! I feel so blessed to have found this explanation! I am also a visual learner so this was perfect. All the other videos I watched assumed you understood all the technical words etc. This “mama” appreciates you so much!
Thanks for this video, it's the only one that's helped me. I was ready to give up. What i learned is that my mom had multiple blutooth devices on so when i switched them off i was able to pair her headphones to the Tao so she could hear the TV. The other tip i have since this post is 2 years old is that the device i have is the Tao BA08. This also has a switch where you can select RX (receive) or TX (transmit). If you are wanting to hear a device like a TV through headphones via the Tao you must select TX when pairing. Thanks again and tell your mom that my mom is really happy with your video #OurMomsRcool
I am delighted that this video, made for my wonderful mother (#LoveYouMom), has aided in your efforts today. May your days be filled with good food, health, and TaoTronics.
I just got this item...THANK YOU for your explanation. I must have gone thru 4 other videos and they didn't HELP AT ALL!! You made it very easy to understand...I know your video is a year old, but glad I came across it...
Hey swarup simon! My parents' TV (#LoveYouMom) did not have a headphone jack either, and thus we needed to get an RGA adapter (which you can see on the video). You may also need to get an additional AUX to optical adapter to ensure the Taotronics thing works. As long as you get a good adapter, it should work as intended.
@@swarupsimon Just from looking at the TaoTronics website (www.taotronics.com/products/tt-ba07-bluetooth-transmitter-receiver and www.taotronics.com/products/tt-ba08-bluetooth-transmitter), it looks like the 08 has slightly better specs but worse range. If you plan on being 10m or more away from whatever device you will use to get audio from, I would go with the 07. Else, the 08. But I'm just some dude that doesn't really know what he's talking about, just like my Momma always tells me. #LoveYouMom
Hey there plamen stoev, great to hear from you. Always great to hear from fans. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what you mean by your question. Can you please clarify? I can say that the quality of the sound is great using ToaTronics, though that may have more to do with the headphones my Momma uses. #LoveYouMom
Hey Chrissy, thanks for the comment. The way my folks have their TV set up, the RCA ports (yellow, red, white) on the TV are already connected (I believe to the ancient DVD player that they use). If you don't have such a contraption, connecting the TaoTronics thing directly to the RCA ports on the TV should work. OR, if your TV is fancy and has a headphone jack, you won't need to bother with the RCA adapters at all and can plug the Taotronics thing directly into the headphone jack. Thanks for the likes and compliments of my family. #LoveYouMom
Hey James, your Samsung Smart TV has a build-in Bluetooth Transmitter! But it is turned off by factory. To turn it on, you must get into the hidden settings! There is a TH-cam video about this! Bye!
@@jamessadler3852 Yeah, SAMSUNG TV Secret Menu! Info Menu Mute TV* You must press those* buttons on the Remote-control quickly, then the Secret menu shows up on the screen, there you seek for Bluetooth settings and turn it on! Then you can go back to the (normal) Speaker settings and all of a sudden Bluetooth is listed now for pairing /connecting! AND IT STAYS ON!!! You only have to turn the headphones on /off! Now that's a nice excursion for a Sunday morning, ain't it? Bye!
@@junesgirl22 Hello Linda L.! Well, it depends on what Samsung Smart TV you are owning! So you must search for "Samsung Smart TV - secret menu" on TH-cam and Watch if it's your TV or not (if the Smart-hub/Home-screen or Remote is matching yours or not) and give this a try! But it's really worth it, because it is working then, with no further problems! Stay safe, keep your health! Bye.

The world definitely needs something more simple and more stable than Bluetooth standard.

Hi, what is the quality of the sound if you comprade : headphones connect with TaoTronics vs headphones connect with phone?

I was wondering why you did not hook the bluetooth transmitter to the AUX on TV???? I liked Video by the way. Your lady is funny!!!!

How do you connect the headphones.... It says ready to pair and not happening
You'll need to follow the Bluetooth pairing instructions on your head phones for that. All headphones are different so i can't be more specific.
