How can I re attach a edge line it's sticking out it came like that?

Does the edge lining remain stiff? Will it soften over time? I’ve got a few edge-lined-bibles and the lining prevents the Bible from opening and laying flat (in every version I have).

That sounds very stiff! I haven’t had that issue with any Cambridge Bibles I’ve had, or the CBP Bibles, although they tend to be stiffer. God bless

Why always the emphasis on Cambridge Bibles? They produce only a small number of the Bible’s on the market.
