Fun Fact: The night they filmed the scene with Rick & Carl was when Carl had his birthday Right at midnight he turned old enough in Georgia to be able to use a real prop & shoot blanks which is one reason that scene always holds a special place In a lot of fans hearts & why Rick looks at him the way he did.

I love how Rick looks at Carl He can see that Carl has changed Carl is now a young man perfectly conditioned for this world and he can take care of himself It’s like Rick sees he’s done his job.

Hey Fun Fact the scene with Carl and Rick with the machine guns was filmed on Chandler Riggs 14th birthday his first day to legally be allowed to shoot a real gun while filming so they shot all night long to celebrate.
R.I.P. to All the People who died this episode. Every time I rewatch I’m right there with Hershel, he was a G! I love the song that played for him as he broke down 😢. Carl and Rick was badass mowing down those walkers, Rick looking on all proud 🥹. It was a great episode then here comes this fuking crazy creep the guvnor. Anyway on to E6
The reason why Hershel didn’t want to kill the people who died from the flu is because he didn’t want people to see the outcome of what happens and lose hope and think to themselves That could probably be me and We’re not gonna make it.

I love the scene with Rick and Carl side by side shooting walkers! So badass! As for Carol, she would never ever kill any of the OG group. Rick should know that she isnt a crazy killer. But i think he must be more worried about her getting killed! They get no rest from danger because now the governor is back! Hey the show wouldn't be any good without the villains. They have to be in constant danger or the fans yell FILLER EPISODE!

I think the fence situation only got as bad because of the disease. Otherwise there would've been teams clearing the walkers, like we saw in 4x01, but as pretty much everyone got sick or went on the run to get the meds, only a couple of people were left to take care of the walkers and tend to the farm.
this the best show on TV. GOT was pretty good but this show still holds so many emotions and attachments with every Fan. its going to get crazy crazy in the seasons to come
TWD and paranormal stuff are what make me happy in this miserable life.

This is probably my favorite episode from season 4. It's such an emotional and bleak episode. I mentioned the soundtrack this season in one of my comments recently, and this episode is a perfect example of that. Black Flies by Ben Howard (the song thats playing while Hershel is taking care of that body), is such an amazing song, and was the perfect choice for this episode.

While Carol’s decision to kill Karen And David wasn’t her’s alone to make this episode highlights a good reason as to why her idea to mercy kill and try to eliminate the threat was a much kinder death than what the poor people who died from the symptoms went through.
