Little known fact: in the comics The Governor’s real name is Brian and Philip was the name of his brother so technically he was lying about his name in the beginning and is finally being honest about his name now.
That's not the case in the show though...so he's lying now, and they make that clear by showing he took the name from the side of that building.

cmon what are we 10 years old? "The Governor is a bad guy so I wont give him MVP! Wah!" Give the man his flowers, he is MVP of this episode, the next episode and, honestly, season 3 as well. The narrative was pushed mainly by him. Hes not just a villian, but an iconic villain, and David Morrissey played him perfectly. It doesnt mean I was rooting for him; you dont have to root for a bad guy to enjoy the character. The Governor, MVP by a wide margin
You guys seemed so shocked that Tara and her family didn't know that you have to destroy the brain to kill the walkers, but at the beginning of the episode when the Governor first got there they said they have been in that apartment since the beginning. Of course they don't know...

I know the Gov gets a lot of hate but i quite enjoyed this story of his, if he would’ve stayed with them or even became apart of the group along with Tara, I think he’d be a fine addition to the main cast

Live Bait refers to the Governor being live bait to Walkers since he doesn’t have any one Also Live Bait is on a Sign near the end when their running away from Walkers Honestly the title of the episode doesn’t really fit and the original title was going to be called Rise which would have made more sense.
Also things to note the episode parallels the first episode of the show Rick is by himself and finds help from some strangers and bonds with a child in that family.
So sad I missed the live premiere 😢 honestly this episode isn't terrible, but it was never one of my favorites. Also I'm glad you pointed it out, Lily was beyond stupid for leaving her child with a stranger. You shouldn't even do that in general but in an apocalypse where people are more likely to kill you just to take what they want? Like girl come on
