Homemade Hot Tent And Stove Update - Did they survive the winter?

  • Lonnie and Connie take a trip out to their homemade hot tent and stove camp to just get out in the great Alaska Spring time sun and to see how the camp handled the winter snows. Connie and Lonnie have been gone a lot this winter with various duties as well as being out at their remote cabin enjoying the cabin and doing repairs and maintenance. So it was great getting back to the homemade hot tent with the homemade stove.

Hello my name is Lonnie and My wife is Connie.
Here at Far North Bushcraft And Survival you will learn about many long forgotten tricks and tips of the old time woodsmen. Not only will you learn about bushcraft / woodcraft but you will learn many things that will help you to survive in less than ideal "survival" situations as well. Come along and sit with me by the campfire as I delve into these subjects in a way that you can easily learn to then do yourself.
I will show you how to make shelters, gather food, use wild medicines as well as start fires with or without matches, lighters, ferro rods, etc

If the sun wipes out our grid for good, I'll be telling stories around campfires (and demoing) till my end of days all I've learned from your videos. And if it doesn't? I'll be showing my grandchildren (and any other interested parties) your videos well after you've both moved along from this amazing planet. Glad you each shared these gifts while you could! More flute songs would be swell by the way...

I have actually been to Hawaii several times, (four times I think). I sure enjoy the nature aspect of Hawaii but don't care much for all the tourism stuff. Quite a few different materials there that are suitable for making cordage. Much better selection of cordage making materials there than what we have here in Alaska.
