Very sweet sounding and dreamy feeling song by the wonderful Heart .. I love my badass Heart songs with their attitude and drive, but as you said Sue, this was one of those numbers that gave us a nice little change of pace and showed they could put over beautiful reflective numbers as well .. Anne's voice is lovely and almost ethereal in parts here.
Hey Wayne, I agree with everything you said here. It was a great change of pace and showed another side of Heart. Anne has such an incredible voice. She can be rocking out or be tender and soft. She has a true gift 🤗💕
Hard to believe this album is 50 years old .
Ann Wilson is definitely one of the best rock vocalists and she proved that when she sang Stairway to Heaven at the Kennedy Center Awards in from of the members of Led Zeppelin
Its such a pity Ann suffered Body Shaming her entire career , wasn’t that voice enough ? .

@jessem470 Hey Jesse, you betcha...Ann is definitely one of rock's best vocalists. I know it is very sad about the body shaming. Why does it even matter. She is a powerhouse vocalist that is all that should matter but everyone, especially women, get judged so much by how we look. She is a beautiful, talented woman. Yes Nancy is a fantastic guitarist and has a good voice as well. I did a review of their version of STH. It was incredible!! Even LZ looked impressed which is not easy to do. They aren't huge fans of hearing their musuc done by others. I have heard.

Love Heart and Ann Wilson. She is my favorite female rock vocalist. It was cool Heart got into the RRHOF with my favorite band Rush, well deserved. The story how Heart became a band is also cool, forgot most of the details but I believe the guy Ann was dating (one of the band members) was a draft dodger and both moved to BC. In some ways Heart got their start in Canada. They were very popular in Canada vs the US at the start of their careers.
Yes I remember bits of this story, Jason. I think because they were based out of Canada for a while, they were sort of considered Canadian content and songs like this were given even more air play here as a result 😊🩵
