Its a heavenly dogu. Dogus are found in the ground at burial grounds, and the added holyness to it reflects its relationship with holy artifacts that are also found in the groung. Whats also found in the ground other than artifacts? Dinosaur fossils, like Ankylosauruses. Thats where they went with a design.
What's worse is imperialdramon is canon in 02 and valkyrimon feels perfect for a silphymon mega. Slashangemon feels like an alt for magnaangemon and not even tangentially related to ankylomon/armadillomon or even shakuomon really.
Because in digimons we have only one Armadimon and he's mega is Vikemon. Of course some people don't want this and don't understand that this make sense
I mean you can't include just one include an armor divivolution and call it his champion form. Ankylomon is Jogress only with Angemon....I am sure you know this but IDK why you settled for just adding Shakkoumon like its his actual champion form or something he can naturally digivolve into.

Now speaking of Only Armadillomon the most suitable would be Armadillomon, Ankylomon, Brachiomon and Cannondramon

@@TheAponemesis he can evolve into to other things but that's his line jogress evolutions are their natural evolutions as shown in the wonderswan games so XV-mons natural evolution is Paildramon no matter who he does jogress with
Glad you use the original terms. The dub messed it all. And yes. In the game Digital Card Battle they assigned Vikemon (which is best for Gomamon) as the Ultimate for Armadimon... And I don't like that. They should have added SlashAngemon.

Vikemon was meant to be Armadimon's mega in the first place. Gomamon stole it when he already had a perfectly reasonable mega in Plesiomon.
