It is inevitable that life will not go according to plan at times. Rather than complain, we must learn to trust God when things go wrong.

When this talk was finished I said to myself "Oh my, I am going to have to listen to this talk more than once." Knowing this, I selected save and started to looked down the long list of Titles that I have previously selected as good category file names to store the videos I have valued for various reasons and want to listen to again, or for those videos that I saw the title or author and knew this particular video would be useful to listen to but I had no time now. When I came across the word/title "PEACE" I immediately filed this talk there. I know that the more I learn to follow the direction given, the more personal peace I will experience, and perhaps, the more I will be able to share these insights where appropriate and/or actually be able to foster this understanding through my own thoughts, words, and actions. Thank you Bro. B. for sharing this talk. I find it ironic that you gave this talk in 1997 and the personal peace I had up to that time was shattered on July 7, 1997. There has not been a day since that I have not thought about, or hurt over, or worked on overcoming the damage others inflicted on my father that day and on myself and our family ever since. And, as each day passed, my understanding of suffering and its causes at home and throughout the world grew and my effort to help alleviate this suffering, even prevent had been uppermost on my mind and in my heart...so much so, that I became responsible for causing hurt through neglect. I became blind to my children's needs in my effort to fulfill my newly inherited responsibilities of guardian and trustee of my father..then my mother and then humanity. I tried, I tried a lot, and then my parents died...

So sweet 💓💓💓. Thank you for sharing this. Thank you for being vulnerable and I feel someone else gets the emotions as life doesn't go the way we would want. This talk and the gospel in whole give us all the hope to be alright and keep going forward to bright days ahead.

Yes. I've had a mentally difficult time recently. When I went to the temple tonight, I didn't want to leave afterwards. It was the most peace I've felt in quite awhile (even though I go every week.)
This IS the time of sorrows as explained in the scriptures. We need the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost to survive it (as President Nelson said.)
God bless and keep you sister🙏🏼🕊
      Much love🫂💞

I must watch this talk more than once....it's the end of our times...as we knew them 6 years ago in 2018. The points he made caused me to think of a collection by our amazing Prophet.
THIS was a very important talk...and so was the collection of various parts of talks by President Nelson...
Which is called breadcrumbs to the 2nd Coming. It will be eye opening for anyone who is *truly trying* to retain the Holy Spirit as their guide --i It opens with a question by Sister Wendy Nelson who then makes several brief important remarks.
It's really not complicated at all if you pray and have the Holy Ghost reveal things that are easy to recognize ONLY if you have that sacred gift we're blessed with when we are confirmed. The Holy Ghost will bless by His Spirit our Minds...that we may have ears to hear.
