For all those who asked, according to wikipedia, "White Day is celebrated annually on March 14, one month after Valentine's Day, when people give reciprocal gifts to those who gave them gifts received on Valentine's Day." It is usually celebrated in Asian cultures.
Fun fact: the Japanese Sonic Twitter account posted some official art for White Day 2020. It showed Tails shopping for candy in Station Square. (No idea who he was buying it for, what with Cosmo being dead and all.)

Why do Sonic the Hedgehog characters have more personality and charisma in fan fiction like this than in canon? Also, this is so cute!
You're not wrong, but I think Sonic Frontiers and The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog were both steps in the right direction.
@@davebrown2056 I can't say nothing about Sonic Frontiers since I don't have the game. I'll later read the script (I don't have a console for that game), however I agree with you that The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog was very good with the characters side. They were all simple but good. I'm sorry that Silver and Charmy weren't there, though.
@@AlexAlex-er5ek Here's a fun fact about The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog: according to Katie Chrzanowski, Charmy was considered for inclusion at one point, but they felt that his young age would make that inappropriate (Cream was left out for the same reason).
@@davebrown2056 Why so? A murder party sounds like something cool to be in, not to mention that you know the murder is fake right away. Two kids like Cream and Charmy should find something like this intriguing and entertaining.
Besides, I highly doubt Cream doesn't want to come to her best friend/adoptive older sister's birthday party and that Vector and Espio left Charmy without at least calling a babysitter to take care of him while they're gone.

I’d really love to see a story with shadow and whisper. Seems like it would be an interesting friendship.
That's not a bad idea. Personally, I'd like to see Shadow interact with Blaze. The Archie comics seemed to be building a friendship between the two of them before they got rebooted, and besides, Blaze appears so rarely in the games these days.
@@davebrown2056 yeah, I’m tired of her just getting paired with tangle all the time. I like both of them, and their sisterhood. But it’s getting old. I wanna see whisper open up to more characters and maybe revert back to her older self before she watched the diamond cutters get killed by the shadow androids.
Part of why I like the idea of them being paired is because it would start off with some awkward tension, and shadow would have no idea why whisper is acting really weird around her. Shadow would probably confront her about it, and whisper would be kinda forced to open up about it. It would also be nice to see her get close to someone else too after it’s all said and done.
@@Riot98765 It would actually be nice to see whisper with anyone else besides tangle, but shadow right away? Tends to be a hard sell at that point in time given how reserved whisper is. Hell, Amy literally went out of her way to grill blaze on how the latter acted in a similar manner back in the day. But the problem with a _lot_ of Sonic characters is that a whole lot of the fan base once they see two characters paired together long term, having those characters paired with literally anyone else becomes similar to pulling teeth. Similar thing happens with Silver and Blaze something fierce as ironically sonic and tails, as well as the chaotix and team dark. Everyone has their niches so to speak. Blaze in particular is in a weird spot because she really doesn't have much bearing on the plot whenever she shows up. Whenever silver does, you can usually get something's gone wrong, and that kicks off an arc, to the point where it literally foreshadowed the metal virus. (Bro was literally the last one standing both in the future, and in the present there). Problem with blaze is that her relative inaccessibility since she lives in another damn dimension and she's pretty much how knuckles should be. Whisper has the exact same problem because her arch rival mimic was already jobbed into the damn ground and there really isn't all that much for whisper to actually do, and although there's a _lot_ more room to work with tangle, it's a tricky thing because those two are tied to the hip since they're both new characters and pairing either with the old school cast shakes up dynamics a little too much. Whisper especially. Hell, wasn't her introduction handled by silver being the macdaddy fanboys and perhaps a bit of a simp? You got an awesome idea, it's just a matter of telling IDW, and I have absolutely no idea how to go about that.

in Sonic's defense, Amy is a bit crazy
And in more recent games, where Amy has mellowed out considerably, Sonic seems much more open to showing her affection (at one point in Sonic Frontiers, he's daydreaming about the two of them sharing an umbrella, while at another point, he plans on taking her back to the island after their adventure, possibly for a date).
Guy sonic is fine, don't worry him with amy.

Why is it called white day?
White Day is a Japanese holiday (celebrated on March 14, since 1978). It's called that because traditionally, guys give white chocolate (though flowers, white clothing or other small gifts are also acceptable) to the girls that gave them chocolate on Valentine's Day, one month earlier.
