    Very good work. As a SciFi fan and 3D printer, I love designs like this. You could use magnets on the contact surface between the two parts to create a harder bump. I would make the inner edges of the fastenings in the floor more stable with a chamfer.

      Thanks, glad you like it. Those are both great ideas. Magnets or even just some additional hardware for weight would give it a better thump. And yeah a fillet or chamfer on the inner edge of those fins would definitely make them stiffer and more structurally sound… maybe I’ll go add those right away.

    where do you put the motor ? It should have s simple space for a motor, double A battery probably or two, and a gear and piston mechanism, should be so simple it should easily fit inside there, then it can actually thump and do it with that 2 second delay or whatever. no need for usb charging etc as it will just use doubleA's etc, like a bulet blender it should turn on when you twist. in fact u could probably convertan old bulletblender into one lol.

      It definitely has room in there to figure something out. Maybe it’ll be a future project. It kinda already looks like a bullet blender haha.
