He sure was! A couple of years ago we went to Zolder (Belgium) to see a raceday and there was also .... Kevin Schwantz. Of course we made a picture of him. Next to Freddie he was also a serious hero of the day. His riding style was absurd. Today the championship is a Spanish / Italian game. God, I love two-strokes.
Freddie, I am from The Netherlands. Today they completely destroyed everything that is fun. I mean, for instance, you just don't know who is who because you can't see the numbers anymore and also they are just too fast. Also the crowd is way to far away from the drivers. Do you remember Wil Hartog and Jack Middelburg winning? The crowd was there.
@@AndyPat239 agreed but they possibly still could have made a 500 for the global market as Suzuki did with the RG...who knows but a 500 triple would have been sweet..
@@Porsche996drivernot really 2 strokes were alive and well, at least in gp racing for about another 15 years after this bike came out. then in the 2000's came the change to 4 strokes began.
What can I say ? Freddie Spencer you are a legend. RESPECT !
Freddie! Love you man. Watched you at Laguna Seca back in the day. 😎👍
Beautiful bike in classic colours. Remember lusting after one of these back in the day.
Wow what an honor to see him in this quiet setting just reminiscing about one of his favorite bikes
Love it. What a beautiful looking machine.
Freddie Spencer, is definitely a superb rider. One of the greatest on any bike. Plus a great humble bloke, loads of respect.😊
Great to see him in Germany!! I would love to have a NS250R or was it NSR250?!?!
There's two brilliant Freddie's,one of them is Fast and the other one is Mercury. 👍
Fast Freddie 👍🏻

❤❤❤❤
I had one of these back in the day, amazing bit of kit… And as always, wish I’d kept it like many other bikes I’ve owned in the past…
I have the 1985 in hrs colours and would love your name on mine. Had it for 24 years now. First hondas legend and GP win. Remember them day's well.
I got a 25 anniversary vfr 800 with that paint scheme...
Nice
The back cylinder got no air & used to seize up .. endless warranty problems in Australia’s heat

✌🏻😊
Strange honda never made it 500cc
the 400 market in Japan might have had something to do with it?

@@Team-fabulous i rode the RG500 a few times, it was wild!
Honda was just committed to moving on from 2-strokes.
No conspiracy theories please maga types lol.

The germans will make sure nobody can ever enjoy that bike on a german road ever again.
