I saw a 1 minute of this on TikTok, and I was curious to listen to the end of his paragraph as the TikTok cut short. The moment I saw this was a 1+ hour-long video, I lost interest - it was 5am anyway. I figured I'll skip my way to the continuation of that sentence and that'll be it - but somehow, this grabbed my full attention - I ended up watching the entire thing. This was a great lecture.
Thank you for this info! Even with the unbroken chains of transmission from Sinai, isn't it possible still that the transmission has been modified upon over the generations? Hard to separate between the original and gradual modifications maybe? Could it be possible that the concept that it was the whole nation that heard G-d speak at Sinai could be a later gradual modification maybe? Thanks!
I am just playing devil's advocate, can one argue that the Jews were aware of previous stories from the Hindus, or Sumerians, and so forth and decided to change it up?
Why would the authors of the record speak so badly about themselves, hundreds of times? That’s for me the greatest evidence that it isn’t a made up story.
Wow such a powerful speech :) I am curious on the speakers opinion of the whole flood story. I went to teach a history class that we talked about some religions and a reaccuring theme was there was a flood story and were shown a example, and the Gilgamesh Epic. I did my research and the Zoroastrian religion had a flood story of a God telling someone to build something for them to survive in. I am very curious about Judaism and am looking into converting, anyways I am just curious about the speakers opinion or if he did some research on the topic of flood stories from past civilizations.

BTW, many Gentiles are friends of Jews. Many of us have Jewish ancestors and look to support them. I listen, I learn, I support.
God's lamp, light, fire has never gone out. That's what I got out of this.

Love listening to this argument 🥰
I believe that God spoke directly to a big group of Jews. But why did he do it only one time in history. This I can't understand yet.
