    This idea about sin resonates with me completely. Sacrificing our animal self is absolutely right. Redemption comes from the sacrifice.

    Moved to tears by the Rabbi's last story of the friends lost after their friendship in the holocaust and the almost impossible odds of these holocaust survivor's meeting again with a promise that changed the outcome of a young couple wanting to consummate their love with marriage. A stunning story, though I do hope the Rabbi's insinuation of sin was not towards the daughter becoming a Christian in her youth before reverting to Judaism..
