- What’s in my minimalist bag? Today, I’m sharing what I carry for a full day out of the house, whether I’m running errands, working remotely, or anything else. I love the balance I’ve found of having the necessities with me while not carrying too much.

What are the items that you carry with you every day? 🤍
I went from carrying make up and perfume to now carrying nappies, wipes and loose change.
I always carry my phone, wallet, keys and now my mask with me. And if I'm going to be out for longer, usually my reusable water bottle. I keep my meds in my wallet, so they're always on hand. And I put all of that in a cotton bag which fits in a bunch of groceries too, if I decide I need to buy something.
When I'm going grocery shopping it's a differenty story though, I always take tons of tupperware, glass jars and smaller cotton bags for all of my food - I love going to the market and to the local zero waste store- so in order to avoid extra packaging I need to bring tons of stuff myself!
My bag is basically filled with the same things except for a book. I literally always take a book anywhere I go. You never know when you can sneak some reading time into!!

When i use a bigger bag, i can't be a minimalist because I want to throw everything in my bag "just in case" so im always using small bags so i can only carry my essentials✨ I lovee what's in my bag videos ❤️ and of course I love you soo much 🥰
I always like a bag with a zip, then if it rains, the contents can remain dry!

Please, please, please: if you put your face mask in your bag, consider having a small purse for it or ideally two (clean and "dirty"), so, when you put other "contaminated" items in your bag (phone, car/home keys), it will still stay clean and safe for you to use 💖
More or less I'm Mary Poppins with my bag: I carry a world of essentials and always manage to make them fit in an organised way 😅

When she said purse I was so confused lol. The small differences between UK and American English 😂. You can tell I’m tired because I literally forgot but when this lovely lady posts, you just have to watch.
I carry my wallet, keys, phone, tissues, a bamboo spork, a reusable mask & hand sanitizer, a small umbrella, a canvas bag for groceries, my stainless steel bottle filled with water or tea, a hair tie, a little hair brush-mirror-thing, chapstick, chewing gum, my earphones and a piece of dental floss with me. Oh, and my Kindle Oasis. The small things are all stored in a little pouch so that they don't clutter up my bag :)
Oh gosh! I love a good 'What's in my bag' video. It's how I started watching You Tube many years ago. I always carry too much, but I'm a keys, wallet, phone, make-up bag, emergency kit, diary/pens, umbrella, water bottle, snacks, etc etc. kind of girl.
Please, guys - do not carry around your medicine like that! They can react with each other and some medicine even react with the air and sun!
In stead keep it in its original packaging - if you want to bring a couple on the go, cut the packaging into size and bring them like that!

That is a lot you fit in your purse when you do go somewhere that you need everything, but it is all needed. Great video, thank you for sharing!
I have a little kit which has spare tissues, a couple of wet wipes, a few medications, sanitary products etc. I also like to swap handbags so I have a reusable bag and hand sanitiser hanging from each bag. The kit means I can swap bags really easily. I also carry a set of reusable cutlery which includes a collapsible straw and straw cleaner as well.

Hi Ashlynne, I always have a little medicine tin with me. It is always useful to have a couple of plasters (Band Aids) and microporous tape, too. The tape is good for covering skin cracks- really common for me at the moment!
I was on a 'what's in my bag' rabbit hole when I came upon your video and whitin the first minutes I subscribed because first of all I love your smile 😍 you have the most gorgeous, warm smile. I found myself smiling with you the whole video so thanks for that. Also minimalism is a passion of mine. Trying to institute it in my life more. So your content is actually pretty useful for me. My essentials are: chapstick, hand sanitizer, mask in pouch, collapsible bag, water bottle, wallet, keys, flashlight, pocket knife, multi tool, ibuprofen, and a handkerchief with microfiber backing for my glasses! Sometimes it’s less but that’s usually the list!

Its almost midnight here in Scotland and I love your videos. I too have very little in my bag as I decluttered it when I got a new one in August. I use a school rucksack as I am disabled and in constant pain so being able to put it on my back evens out any weight.
I'm not a minimalist, but I rarely carry a bag. I use a carabiner to clip my keys to my water bottle handle and I have a pocket to store my cards that attaches to the back of my phone. If I have to carry more items like a laptop (or if I'm going grocery shopping), I throw it all into a canvas tote.
You have such amazing skin! In my bag I keep my cards and ID, deodorant, perfume, hand sanitizer, hand lotion, a mask, and some first aid things! I like the idea of having a small bag in your bag so you can use them to get some things. I sometimes end up picking up some groceries while I'm out and always get mad that I don't have something non plastic to carry my groceries.
I am so glad you keep a reusable bag in your purse. I work in food service and my clothes get so wet and gross at the end of the night when I wash dishes. Having a reusable bag to put my gross clothes in is essential so that my clothes don’t get the rest of my bag messy and wet.
I also carry a reusable bag with me!! My husband is always counting on it when we are running errands. I use an Anekke backpack (small) and in the outside pocket I carry the reusable bag, that folds into a really small “purse”, a pen, one extra reusable mask in a special container and a doctors report explaining that I suffer from asthma (in case I get a ticket for not using the mask in a given moment).
Inside I carry a small purse, kleenex (I have allergies) and my inhaler and a transparent pouch with health and hygiene items: mini toothbrush and micro tooth paste, a box with a few pills, a travel size refillable perfume bottle, hand sanitizer, lip balm, a small elastic band for my hair and a couple of doses of saccharine (most waiters forget about it). I also tend to carry my e-reader with me when I leave my house, and when I go to work I take my own coffee in a metal tumbler.

It's really practical. I suggest that you carry spf moisturizer and sunglasses when you go out. It's for protection from the sun.
I have a crossbody bag i carry for trips to the supermarket or other outings that take less than an hour. It contains my wallet, tissues, mask, hand gel, keys and iPhone 7. When i'm out for longer i have a Longchamp Le Pliage handbag that i put my older Mac Pro or iPad and wires, water bottle and bullet journal. The last thing i carry is a small makeup bag with emergency lady stuff, CPR mask, plasters, pain killers and mini nail file. I started carrying emergency bits as a youth worker, when young people asked me for something, if i didn't have it i'd add it to my kit. Even in school i love being able to say 'I've got that' when they've torn a nail, or have a headache, or need a blister plaster. My nickname became Mary Poppins.

Just bought my first purse in 6 years. It’s a handmade leather bag from In Blue Handmade in Asheville, NC! I needed this video because I’ve forgotten what I need in a bag lol

I’m trying to downsize things I carry. But must haves are my inhaler (I have asthma), lipgloss,tissues, medicine bottle with ibuprofen,Tylenol,tums,anxiety meds. Card holder,pen,hand sanitizers &lotion, phone, glasses, bandaids.

This might be a weird question but how do you refill the bath and body works sanitizer bottle? I tried to remove the lid to refill it but it wouldn’t come off without breaking.
I have the same bag in black! I make sure to keep it in its dust bag but how do you keep the leather clean?

I use a backpack from fjallraven, because i like to have both hands free with 2 kids 🤣
In there lives my wallet, facemasks for me and the kids, tissues, hand sanitaizer, a pen.
When we go out i bring my phone, a water bottle and fruit/snack for kids.
I love my backpack because i can stuff everything in there my kids trow at me. Jackets, hat, mittens, sun glasses etc. 🤣

I only carry bags that have no zippers/magnetic closure. I like how it looks. I don't have any money in my bag because I'm always broke. Anyway if someone was to steal my wallet, they wouldn't be getting much. Hell, they might kick my behind because I don't have any money to give him/her.
I don’t know about interactions and what other people are saying but at least don’t put Tums in same container as other meds. They’re chalky and rub off on anything. If you’re not keeping meds in there for very long it probably is ok for most OTCs as long as they don’t come in contact with moisture

Btw, there is full of bacteria and viruses outside the used masks. It would be better to keep the used masks in a small masks’ box if you really want to reuse the mask ( if it is possible, many doctors do not recommend people reuse the masks) and make sure that your hand would not touch the outside area of the mask. But many people still don’t realise this problem. Hope everyone could pay high attention, awareness and consideration to personal hygiene.
I've been binge watching your videos for the past few days. Can you please make a video or do you have any tips to get others to declutter. I can easily do it because I'm not detached to things but my mom and sister have a problem keeping stuff they absolutely don't need. It gets me frustrated being in a room full with stuff and in the past I have thrown out my sister stuff(mostly trash) but we always breaks into an obvious fight. I don't want to keep doing that because one it gets tiring and two I don't want one day accidently throw away something that brings them joy. So please any tips to get others to declutter
I was really surprised to see how huge your purse is for being a minimalist. I was surprised. Not putting you down or anything. Just thought it'd be tiny. LOL. My. purse is so much smaller than yours but it's a good size.
Only reason it’s that big is to fit my laptop and water. Everything else in it barely takes up space 😉

Loved the video but since I work at a pharmacy the jar with different pills made me wanna scream. I know they have different colours but please, please never ever do that. In case of an emergency you might panic and take the wrong one or if there are two similar ones you're screwed. Besides that you never know if there might be some kind of reaction going on between the pills. Argh, those are not gummi bears you just put together in a random jar.

Ohh!!! I'm a nurse! I just wanted to say: Its reallyy bad to have open medicin in only one container! Especially open!! the medicine breaks faster, the active ingredients influence each other! severe side effects can occur.
