Click bait bro, showing the data of one-hander is not even fair since EJ simply outplayed almost all of the one-hander, they are not even close. You got lots of good two-handers, Jones, Kyle Troup, Belmonte, Simonsen.

I am an EJ fan and I think if EJ didn’t get it this time you will simply change the video title to “EJ should have won” lmao
He was the only righty and he had many games to figure out the lanes, which he did perfectly. Russo made decent adjustments but couldn’t carry. Jesper used the wrong ball. I believe he had similar issues on the shark championship. EJ wouldn’t be there if he didn’t know what to do. That’s why he’s been so dominant really since he joined the tour. He has won once or more times in since 2016. I think when you’ve won 23 titles, and the same tournament multiple times, you have an idea of what to do to win, which is what he did. He bowled well, made the right adjustments, and made spares. He didn’t have the problem of other bowlers on his side and carry wasn’t as big of an issue for him.
Last I checked Right Handers still win the large (LARGE) majority of the championships, did I miss something? Did we assume When Earl Anthony was dominating it was rigged?
So...when do we get to the part about EJ "should not have" won? What I saw was a bunch of adjustments by a multiple Player of the Year, including possibly this year (2024). Two handers will continue to dominate because high rev is far more forgiving than low rev. If you're low rev, you have be more accurate to fight the oil push generated by the high rev bowlers. The lefty issue is not new, by any stretch. Fewer lefties mean slower transition. With EJ being the only righty, he was literally creating his own shims. Add to the fact he didn't use urethane at all, the title should have been "EJ Tackett was GOING to win the World Championship before a single ball was thrown."

Nice click bait. Ej won for multiple reasons.. 1) 4 leftys vs 1 righty = he can shape the right side how he wants 2) 3 leftys using urethane pushed the oil down lane which is why so many ringing 7s for them. 3) russo wanted to use urethane but saw the trouble games 2 and 3 were for his opponents. He wasn't ready for that since he seems to favor urethane. And 4).. flat out experience.. ej tackett is 1 or 2 best in the world with wayyyy more tv experience.. I'd say next closest with tv time is jesper. In short.. it was a perfect storm for ej to take advantage of and for us 1 handed rightys, we are happy he did 😂
Bottom line is the ball will not roll as expected at all times. All players are subjected to this "X" factor.

Are you hating on EJ Tackett? What makes you think he didn’t deserve the win? EJ did everything he was supposed to do, and he showed the world how good of a shot maker he is. Also sometimes you need to get lucky to be successful.
Being the only righty means the reads were easier no? So he should have won and did.

Luck and skill are both necessary to win a tournament. Sometimes the pins go your way, and sometimes they don't (stone 8s and 9s). But to say that a person on the level of Tackett should not have won a tournament in which he bowled very well is asinine.
