Brings back memories! I had one in the mid 70s, still got the scars from the kickback if you cocked up the kickstart. Even then I used to get stopped an asked what on earth the bike was... Cost me £100 when I earned £34 a week. Mine was solo too, but most Panthers had sidecars, solo ones were unusual. The sidecar frame came with it, but I never fitted it, it was absolutely enormous!

Shiny isn't always best how many kicks ! Mine spent Saturday night out in the rain at a poc rally started first kick Sunday, as Pembroke sections motto said first kick no worries , and it uses no engine between changes ,, the look on car drivers faces is priceless when this some what ratty 2 wheeled oddity chugs by
