Hello.. I'm from Indonesia and here we have a running shoe brand called Ortuseight. They just launched a supershoe called Ortuseight Solar which utilise pebax midsole and carbon plate. The upper seems very breathable because of huge hole on the mesh upper. It also only weigh in around 194 - 204 gr size 42. Pricing wise I believe it's around the price of this Kiprun shoe. If you ever interest in that shoe please review it. Would really love to see how it stacks against the other supershoe since on paper it's quite good
If you couldn't pick up Nike VF for £115 to £130, then this would be top of my list. We are a bit lucky in the UK. When I was in SE Asia, I couldn't find any discounted Nike - need someone to import from USA / UK. Decathlon bridges that gap for a lot of people that are forced to pay full RRP or close to
@@HaiLeQuang Lots of the runner up front in the races I have done have been wearing them (VF / AF). I get that might be niche but still, there is demand and I think it's a shame they have to pay full RRP or close to, especially where average income is lower than EU / USA. Seems backwards to me.
In agreement with others: Kieran, how could you say it’s good value for money and recommend it? Paying 180€ to cut your feet and end runs with bloody ankles surely isn’t good value for money 😅
I tried them at Paris Run Experience. I liked KD900X but I was not quite yet convince by this new version which seems to have the same defects, and the upper seems to have less width (or maybe it is because I've made 1200K with the older version, so I'm not sure how they fit at the beginning.) Still one of the less expensive if you consider that the durability must be similar with those ones.
Shame about the design flaw, as this would deter a lot of people from buying the shoe. I like Decathlon as a brand - good value and quality for all sports and outdoor wear. The running shoes certainly have improved in the look of their designs now - not far off premium brands in that respect. Aside from the issue with this shoe - the problem will always be whether the price is cheap enough for people to try them over the equivalent Nike, NB, Asics, Puma shoe etc...
Decathlon, is for easy buying, their choice is real performance but for accessible budget. Less color, less unsold. Is they're choice. But the shoes is really incredible for low budget.
I run uk 8.5 in most shoes and had the same problems in the 8.5 decathlon shoe. It runs a lot larger than what I’m used to. Interestingly the kd900 I have in an 8.5 is smaller so it’s like the LD shoe runs bigger. I’ve dropped from a 43 to 42 in the KD900xld so fingers crossed that’s fixed the issue 🙏
I am Chinese and I have bought this pair of shoes before. I think they are only suitable for elite athletes. The upper material is very tough, and there is a piece of fiber on the heel, which will definitely rub the heel when running
they look like the first pair of nike zoom flys, but really 180 Eu....no way, i can get a pair of Adios Pro 3 with that.....some time ago i had the Kiprun KD ultralight and they were a blast, but they cost near 70 Eu.
if you loss some blood you become lighter so with that trick you can run faster 😂 You have to chose between comfort but run slowly or to loose all you blood and beat your PB 🎉
I like decathlon and I’m sure you’d like them to keep sending you stuff but there comes a point where you have to call a product out for what it really is for the sake of your channel credibility. How you can say this is good value is laughable when you’ve both experienced cut feet. One to the point of blood stains on camera? Come on now 😂
Short dev time shows in its quality....Guys could you please get rid of the depressing funeral parlour sounding piano 😢 running is surely about enjoyment and upbeat👍

Nike never makes sales for super shoes in SEA

@@kierenkd Not quite. They purchase fake shoes from dealers on Facebook.

Will you guys test the kd900 light?
Would this Kiprun shoe offer better value than the similarly priced Asics Magic speed 3?

Is it possible to trim off, say 5mm, from the plastic parts that are cutting into the foot to make it more comfortable?
Approved by the UFC?

So, if I find this same shoe for £125, would that be a good deal? Should I go right ahead and buy them?
Must be difficult to recommend a shoe with blood stains :=) I think I'd sacrifice that 1% efficiency advantage to run in comfort.
It's kinda hard to take your eyes off the blood in this review! Not sure how it could be recommended at the end of the video. Crazy.

I got the Metaspeed Sky Paris for £198 and that's 212g in my men's 10.5, I'd rather pay the extra myself...
So both of you suffered cutting? Think I will give this a miss then, and stick to my Vaporflys.

In French, we say "avoir les chevilles qui enflent"
People say hey
