Marcnico320 Yes it is a straight 6 Bmw engine ,but in 2 litre form , since that was the limit of the super 2000 rules. Also this is normally aspirated and revs to 9000 rpm :)
320s are 2.0 and 2.2. the early e46 320s are 150hp 2L and the later e46 320i are 170hp 2,2l. 318i allso came in 1,9 and 2,0L configurations in the e46.

It's a P52 race engine instead of the M52 on your 320ci, that's all I know.
