Upgrading the sights on my CZ 75B sights to night sights and adding a new set of grips. I demonstrate how to use the VISM sight pusher tool, popular buy on Amazon.
If there is a taper to the dovetail or sight, and you remove it to the ejection port side (L to R), you install it the OPPOSITE direction (R to L), not the same direction. You will ruin the dovetail or sight installing it the way shown "if" it has a taper. If it is not tapered, it doesn't matter. Draw an exaggerated picture from overhead. It's plain as day.
I always do the same thing left to right or towards ejection side for both install and removal. I don't think it matters either way but I haven't had any problems with the way I do it. Maybe there is some proper gumsmith technique I am missing .
i looked online and searched if it mattered which direction and didn't get a clear answer so I just did it towards ejection side both ways. Still to this day not sure if it matters but I put night sights on this, my SP01 & my 75 compact the same way.
Hey Wildman, I just put 64 shots through my 75 BD as usual flinching low and left. Wondering if I could put an adjustable sights to overcome the anticipation I don’t do it on 22s but where I’m relatively new to 9 mm I shoot low and left as with Canik TP 9SF my Barretta PX four compact now same thing with my75BD what’s your opinion on adjustable rear side to overcome about 8 inches low at 8 inches left to be honest it’s quite a bit at 75 feet ! By the way, I’m an old codger at 64 years of age lol I have the Vevor China eBay pusher which is pretty smooth and heavy after I cleaned and polished everything on it
Yes I have used it with the grips. They are thinner than the plastic or rubber grips but they are smooth. I have a "grenade" pattern grip for my sp-01 that has a lot of grip. These not so much.
I have that exact pusher tool and yes it works well and is solid/sturdy. Used it on two of my Glocks already. Just bought the CZ P01 today, and the Lok grips and Truglo’s have been ordered as we speak.
@@erik22lax heard about them, was on the site earlier lol. Didnt know what to swap out. This will get put into the carry rotation so I typically dont bother internals much. What lb spring did you get?

I was wondering the same thing
Since it came off pushing left to right, shouldn’t the install be the reverse from right to left? Does it matter?

Yes, it matters. Left to right to remove the sight. Right to left to install it.
Question? You removed back sight to ejection side. Shouldn’t you install new sight from ejection side, you did it from opposite side?

Great video and that tool looks pretty good for the job.Installing sights on my P10 F soon hopefully it goes as smooth.
There is some great deals on those series of CZ pistols-can find some real good deals on them online
How did it work with your P10?
So you mark the centerline on the slide first before removing old sight, then use that mark to align new sight? Or do you just eyeball it?
👁🗨 it

Just more practice with controlling your trigger pull through the shot and reset. You're anticipating the recoil that doesn't exist in your .22
Have you had a chance to shoot with the grips? I really like this design as well but wondering if it even provides any actual grip 😅

I just put a Cajun gun works spring kit in my SP 01. Check them out if you want to trick out your P 01 more.

The one annoying thing I hate is that the knobs over tight for no reason. Very frustrating
@@ResplendentRaider the recoil springs-I bought 10, 12 and 14 lb. The hammer spring is 13lbs. The plunger spring and trigger return spring unknown.
Looks way too easy! I’ll screw it up for sure-P01..Outstanding visual and verbal instructions. Thanx ! Now to screw it up😊
Can we put suppressor on this pistol?
@alanramos5517 if you can find a threaded barrell for it, then yes
Excellent
Hey I’ve heard that it’s bad to dry fire the cz75 is this true?
Bad meh but it wears out parts and the trigger pin is hollow so it is not ideal
thanks Ill use snapcaps when dryfiring it to be safe. @@erik22lax
Yes. Slip a small O ring in the hammer well so the hammer will not actually strike the pin when you dry fire.
Yes it does. Get extra pins.
nice!
You dont need that machine for that i think its just another way of making money why dont do that manually???
You need tools to take off the sights. I don't have a vice. This tool replaces multiple other tools and it doesn't scratch the slide.
I do some little mods sometimes.
But if you care about your guns then you need the correct tools
