I do love looking around an abbey and trying to imagine the life of those Cistercian monks centuries ago! Thank you so much for your research and preparation in preparing the voiceover. It really adds so much to the viewing experience to hear that!! Not everyone does that, and I really appreciate all the effort you put into including that in your videos 🙏

I love seeing these old historic places. Stone built ruins are especially fascinating. I like having drones nowadays as it puts a whole new perspective on so many places when they can be viewed from above.

It’s such a shame that abbeys like this were destroying during the dissolution, but even so, the history behind the building is very interesting and I certainly enjoyed the story telling. Shame there are a few areas fenced off, great video 😊

Totally agree! we always try to include some drone footage as it just shows the sheer scale of the buildings! Luck was on our side with the wind that day :P

That was a really impressive video, guys 👌. Interesting how a different type of stone used changes the look of a Medieval building. It's built in more or less the same styles as we're used to seeing in Southern France, but consists of these smaller gray stones compared to the brownish tints in France 😊. There's probably a very logical geological explanation for it 😅. Take care!

That's loads bigger than I thought it'd be. Looks like it was a lavish abbey 🤩 Shame that Henry VIII destroyed this one too 😢 Another one for my list. Lovely to see from the above with the drone, it really hammers home the scale of the place 👍

Looks another beautiful Abbey - you can imagine how it would have looked in its heyday. The ruins are still quite large, your drone footage is awesome.

There really is just an abundance of history in Wales, it never fails to disappoint!
