I watched this whole series last 2 days and was very interested in Gyeons performance. I bought Gyeon Q2 Repel half a year a go but still haven't got the time to apply it on my car. But these video shows I'm going to be very happy with it!!
Awesome video series, so much time and effort in it, highly appreciated man! It really touches me you said you don't care what the manufacturers think about this. Love it!

Stopped using CarPro FlyBy and started using ArmorAll's ceramic glass product. I'm sold. That stuff really is good.
If anyone is looking for a good towel to use with the ArmorAll ceramic glass product, the Grants two-sided mf towels from Harbor Freight work great and only cost $3.49 for a two-pack. Give 'em a try. Easy to get a streak-free finish with these and any glass cleaner or rinse less was solution.

I would like to see you do a test on wheel coatings, just like the ones you did for the tire dressings/coatings.

Scott I appreciate what you're doing for the industry. With that being said I have a question. Do you have any of glassparency's maintenance solution? If so I'd be curious to see if it helps revive any the already dead coatings. Another suggestion is on a future glass coating(If you decide to do another) you could put a few on your mobile truck to see how the real world effects it like bugs and wipers. I know glassparency has held up pretty well to wiper blades with minimal wiper blade chatter.

For my use, I applied igl glass about 12-13 months ago on all windows of a Tesla Model 3. The side windows still hold up almost like a new application. The wiper sweep area of the windshield has faded significantly, but kind of works if driving 45 MPH+. It started to fade in the wiper area about 6 months or less, I don't remember when. The non-sweep area of the windshield isn't bad. The roof and rear might have faded, but I don't know if maybe I got tired of doing so much glass that I might not have done a good job on the final stretch. I stripped my windshield just now and applied a new coat.
I also used Aquapel for a long time prior to this and it held up pretty well on side windows. Wiper sweep also affect life of this coating.

Go Aquapel! Side note - If I was putting solar panels on my roof I would apply it prior to install.

Well that armour all product looks like the perfect bet for me, cheap easy and long lasting (get me thru the winter) but they don’t sell it in Canada.

    • @ml-fishing1341

I believe its due to a chemical and probably just not approved yet or something, we have a bunch of the other ceramic things from armour al and others

Just curious....might car products like Renew and Descaler bring some of these back? I also remember you approaching wiper testing the coatings for wear but can see that would be very complicated. FYI the Glassparency on my vehicle still works after 1.5 years, but probably only necause it's "maintained" (for free) by my local detailer every 3 - 4 months.

Used the NGNT (diamond protech) and it works great but I should not have used it on the windshield, wipers are terrible but once above 20mph you don’t need them.

@@Tallnerdyguy I always coat windshields. Yes, it wears off quickly compared to the other windows. But it makes driving in the rain so much nicer as you don't have to use wipers nearly as much. *Probably* prolongs wiper blade life too. Thx Scott for another great review. Armorall really did a good job considering the price. Now, for the upcoming "Trim coating" testing, is it too late to include the new "Turtle Wax graphen acrylic trim restorer"? 🥹
