All looking very nice Nik. I'm glad to have Eustacia in my garden but it's relatively new for me. I've heard a lot of people say that their Cosmos haven't bloomed yet this year. Mine have been fine but the dwarf variety that I like for my pots looks more like the tall ones. It's probably me that's muddled the labels at seed sowing time! Hope you're enjoying the hot weather. I shouldn't complain, but it's been too hot for me. Must be getting old as I used to love the heat!

Yes, I'm surprised that the tall Cosmos hasn't flowered yet, although I do see one bud has appeared. A few years ago half that flowerbed was planted with Cosmos and half with Zinnias - it was very spectacular and jungle-like, but there wasn't much to see during the early and middle of summer. I do have a couple of small Cosmos that are about finished now. And no, I am not appreciating the hot weather - the only redeeming feature is the dry sunshine helping the roses along! I just hope the sun lasts long enough to give one final flush of blooms that aren't soggy, misshapen or diseased - is that too much to hope? Eustacia is probably the most freely flowering DA rose I have, no real flushes - I don't love it, but I like it and appreciate its flowering habit.

Lovely nik. What’s the orange flower next to the cosmos? That queen of Sweden is huge for a potted rose. Could it not go at the bottom of that patio so you could look down on it from above? I’m sure it’s something you’ve already considered but disregarded. Either way it’s looking very strong and doing very well. Next year I plan to prune mine pretty hard as it is growing pretty tall. Anyway lovely to see your garden doing well nik:)

Those are orange dahlias. I don't know their name - they were just one of those lucky buys in a garden centre end-of-season sale. They cost me peanuts and make a big splash of colour. I lifted them last year but may risk leaving them in this year. The other orange ones close to the greenhouse are Emily McKenzie crocosmia which have bigger flowers than most crocosmia. Yes, your brain worked as mine did regarding QoS. I've been very disappointed with the plum "supercolumns" planted below the decking and would happily replace one with QoS to be able to enjoy the blooms from above, but my wife thinks we should persist with the plums - we have had about 6 plums over 4-5 years, but she is the eternal optimist.
