Great video, at some point maybe a part 2 would be cool, to show best c4/rocket placements to maximize splash damage. Maybe include tests or visuals for explosive splash damage if that's possible? Either way good stuff
Yeah but honestly I think it would be pretty hard to show it in a video. We should have mentioned in this video that Rocket Launcher has 12 meters explosion range and Demolition Charge has 10 meters range. When it comes to placement, I think the rule is simple. Place it in the middle of lockers you want to destroy etc and like Liam said prioritize destroying weaker structures, unless of course you think they are a bait, cuz sometimes people will build wooden walls around their base just for you to miss the most important rooms with most loot that are made of metal :D
@@RestoreMonarchy 2 main things: Firstly the dragonfang spawn location on russia, it is not dropable from the mega zombie, only spawns at militia locations. (And drops) Secondly the precision charges (i wont really say much since Nelson made them very weirdly. But basically precision charges are double the damage of normal charges and the range itself is not much different. And one more thing remembered again while writing this the doorway and vault door have same hp at the moment, so its kind of opinion based if people wish to raid the metal doorway or the vault door
@codrinc2956 You're right, mega zombies on Russia don't drop Dragonfang but Nykorev and there's only little change for Dragonfang to drop in Militia bunker there. Our mistake. When it comes to Charges, actually there is a significant difference in their range. Precision Charges deal 2000 base damage within a 3-meter radius, while Demolition Charges deal 1000 base damage across an 8-meter radius. Both charges have severe damage falloff with distance - for example, a precision charge at 1.5m (half its range) will only deal 50% of its damage (1000), and near 3m it deals almost no damage at all. Similarly, demolition charges deal less damage the further you get from the blast center. So while precision charges do deal double base damage as you mentioned, their effective range is much smaller since their damage drops to zero at 3m, while demolition charges can still deal damage up to 8m away. Lastly you're also right about the Metal Doorway and Vault Door. They have same health, so there is no difference what you choose to destroy from these two.

@@RestoreMonarchy Well, this is more opinion based than facts but honestly the guide was not entirely correct.
@codrinc2956 I understand, what do you think we showed incorrectly?
