Reactor ruins your engine, it is supposed to test your ability to keep up w/ others. It also may have something to do with nullifying loud noises since nuclear reactors are incredibly loud
Unfortunately it's hard to drive at super high speeds, especially with certain cars. Tapping the accelerator and tap steering are your best friends. If you're using controller, try turning your sensitivity down to about 0.3 or 0.4, that works well for me

Supposedly it's keeping pace with other drivers. In the real realm hazards and doors would cut you off

How do you fix the fish tailing on the cars? Turnibg at hish speeds easily makes the vehicle spin out
