I’ve been married to my husband for 7 yrs and together for 10. It’s my second marriage and will be my last . My husband and I have been through hell and back but we are stronger and better because of it . Marriage takes work , understanding, love , respect and faith everyday . If I can give one piece of advice it would be “ You and your spouse are a team not each other’s enemy “. “ Don’t divide yourselves “ work together as the team you are meant to be .

So excited to hear Joyce and Dave’s story! My husband and I have been on the brink of divorce for a while. He’s not following Christ, and I’ve had severe chronic fatigue for 5 years. We’ve had so many challenges. This is so hard but I need Gods help. I want to honour God with my marriage! Please Lord, strengthen me and guide my husband, speak to him, reveal yourself to him. In Jesus name. Show me how to be an honouring wife even when he doesn’t honour you. What does that look like lord? Show me how to be a good wife without being a door mat and feeling used and not like myself…. Amen. Xx
I don't think God intends for you to feel bad about yourself in your marriage. I was there once too, and I don't encourage divorce. But only God can change him. 🙏 Marriage is both people trying, both caring and both wanting it to be good. I'm remarried and have a great marriage now. Pray for him, like you're doing, but don't allow him to make you feel lost or unloved. Sounds like he needs some help. ❤
My grandparents on my dad's side were married from when he returned from the war in 1945 until her death in 2004. My parents married in 1975 and are still going strong in 2022.

I told a lady once that the fairy tales miss a huge section in the story… in the fairy tales, they say… they got married and lived happily ever after… the story actually is “they got married… and… and lived happily ever after… that middle portion … that’s the part of the story that doesn’t get told…

So blessed, each of you, to have started your marriage based in faith. I truly believe my relationships with men have never worked out because God wasn't invited into those relationships. If I ever have a relationship with a man again, he will have to love Jesus, as I love Jesus. Walking in faith together with a man is something I've never experienced. Praise God. I Wish I could speak to Joyce’s husband. I’m going through very similar start in my relationship and it’s no one I can truly speak to who’s been through the same as a follower of God. ❤

How a amazing God to provide everything for us!
I wholeheartedly believed what Joyce said, about holding onto the marriage you have. I put up with a lot - and to be fair, so did he. I didn't think either of us were worse than the other, and there was a lot of love and fun to be had - more so than any pain. Unfortunately, God tested my husband after 24 years, and he failed. He shifted his focus onto someone else. Which I took from God to mean, the places he needed to take me - he needed a man of unwavering faith and a heart for God. So I would just add to Joyce's message that holding onto your marriage is a good thing. Don't throw it away, looking for perfection. However, if it does go by the wayside - ask God first, was it even his desire, for you to be with that person to begin with?
I believe the places God intends to take me, he meant for someone else to shoulder the burdens in a way that is pleasing to Him. My first husband pleased himself. My second (should that be in the Lord's plans) will please God.

Dave is a good christian man who cares loves you always cared loved you ! I had one guy care about me we were going to be married but he died before that June 13th 1986 age 44 of brain annersuim but he was a good guy ! He had bipolar depression but had a good sense of humor and was a good guy ! I was 30 when he died and I was 28 when I met him so knew him 2 years before he died .
It's like just cause you don't have a marriage, don't mean you can't learn about one.

Wow what an eye opener for me in regards to what Dave said about how Joyce came into the marriage
Thank you for putting this on your channel! I have been married for almost 15 years.. My husband and I have 2 sets of twins and 5 kids total. We are blessed but of course it is challenging. I learned of a friend who had gotten a divorce (and she and her husband were special to me) .. not they aren't together and I'm in shock. The enemy wants to attack every couple.

I admire the way they are together, it's a symmetrical type feeling you get they , balance one another it seems and that's very rare it seems , and very sweet. He's tough and so is she but I see very brave and special people together it's sweet . I also married the first man who was even a little bit interested in me. It has been a painful seven years. He has no interest or love for me. I would prefer to no longer be married to him but I don't want to anger God. I'm only 30, I cannot carry on in a loveless marriage. I am miserable.

When I hear this , i made many mistakes hurting my spouse and his family rejected me. I couldn’t make it but still i am waiting for God’s to give his knowledge. But i want God to heal my so that i could forgive them and live a happy life take my joy what God has kept for me in this earth.

I am at a place of distress with my married husband of 10 yrs. He is narcissistic in some ways but I try hard, not all the time to put up with him. It has been hell for a minute with our kids rejecting him of his actions. Nevertheless, I choose to allow God to settle this matter so happiness can come back again.

It's not an easy topic as one sleeps with their WORST enemy. Human beings are a handful & misunderstanding do prevail. Worse when a spouse is sick, depression seeps in & financial burden & strength from the "health provider" looses her strength to nurse him or comfort him. Easier to suffer alone with God only.

I really enjoy all teachings of Joice but I would like to see what is her take on second marriages. Doesn't bible say that once you divorced, you shouldn't marry again becouse it is adultery. I've been straggling with that myself and don't want to do anything to displease Lord. I'm afraid he may not bless me if I marry again against his will (1 Cor 7:10-11)

I got married early. I wish I had waited for a godly man. I have so much self hatred and hatred towards him. All I wanted was a safe , decent, loving family life! Instead I was alone - in a hell hole house my kids childhood. I spent so much time begging for him to be a father. To care about us. And til this day - my kids are grown and still home, but my husband sits in bed and goes to work and then goes out and cheats on the weekend. He made clear it’s his house and he doesn’t care if it’s falling apart. I just wish I had someone who actually loved me and my kids. I will never be safe. That’s why I’m considering just not being anymore. God can’t fix this. He can’t fix this chronic pain. I can’t leave I’m trapped . I have nowhere to go. I can’t work . My children are adults and they’re cruel too. Everyone hates me - I don’t want to keep going anymore. I’m tired of being depleted and broken
