You guys got lots of facts wrong in this video. Queens don’t make royal jelly, workers do. In fact all larvae are started off on royal jelly only the potential queens continue to receive it. The old queen almost alway leaves before the new queen emerges. While a colony will make new queens if the queen is failing most new queens are made because the colony is strong and thriving, that’s how they reproduce. And a good queen will not stay in a hive for 2-7 years. If she has a good colony in the spring she swarms and establish a new hive and leave her royal offspring behind. Queens take 16 days to develop and worker take 21. These are basic things you need to know to manage a beehive. I appreciate your attempt here and now encourage you to start a few hives of your own and join the wonderful world of beekeeping.

I was watching a video and it ended with queen leavening and taking 1000 bees with her. I wanna know what Happens next.. so she makes new queen, leaves and goes where? Can people cultivate new hive from the old queen and her 1000 workers? Or she goes wild and makes her new hive there? How long they live after they leave? Pls tell me more about.. when the new queen is born and old queen leaves the hive what does she do and how does her life continue, and how does she die ❤

Bees ALSO rear new queens if they are "planning" to swarm soon. When this is the case, the queen cells are usually built near the bottom of the comb. If a queen is failing as an egg-layer, then supersedure queen cells are built, typically on the side of the comb. Queen bees require 16 days to mature as adults from their cocoons after the eggs from which they developed have been laid, while workers require 21 days and drones require 24.

Great video, but...many eggs, but only one laying per cell, in the image of the video, it is understood that several eggs are laid in the same cell... as a video of this quality can be didactic, it is important that the followers of this channel understand that a Queen will lay only one egg per cell...

Where are they getting their information!!
