🔴Do you agree that the Ford F-150 is extremely overpriced?🤔 🏆Ford CEO Reveals 5 NEW Ford Models for 2025 WATCH HERE 👉th-cam.com/video/8VW0Bx787_U/w-d-xo.html
I can't get over the thought that this is the most unnecessary new truck to hit the market in a long time. It seems to be a little less stylish, a little less capable, and a little more expensive than its predecessor. In terms of value, I would say as a fleet owner and operator, I'm not seeing it because the truck is unremarkable and not upgraded in any way. There's also the issue - this has nothing to do with the truck, but everything to do with value - of financing at today's interest rates. When most of us purchased our previous trucks, we were incentivized to do so with extremely low interest rates and attractive rebates. Today with get neither. The value just isn't there beyond wanting to look like you have the newest truck, if that's your thing.
5.0 is about as good as it gets. Buddy has a '16 with about 300,000 miles that's never been touched, he's had it since about 20k miles, and he uses it hard (ranch, hauls cattle and hay trailer, pastures, more suited for a 3/4 ton+ but he gets by). Several others in the area and I've never heard a bad thing (all ranch use). I have a '22 with only 30k on it, not a single issue at all with the truck since new, no noticeable oil loss with 6k miles in between. In between years had a little issue with oil consumption, didn't affect everyone much, and the fix was mostly switching back to heavier oil they used before the issue, plus adding more oil to start with (iirc, they changed the dipstick as part of the fix...). I get nearly 23mpg hand calculated at 65Mph on calm days (no four lane highways or anything faster within 75 miles), and I have the 3.73 axle/4x4, trip to town is 30 miles with no stops or slowdowns in between, town has 3 stoplights, so mpg stays up when I use it on the road. I highly recommend it.... Not trying to shill, just stating what I've been around.
