Thanks, you help me know how to fix my scratch couch. Smoothening out all those roughed up fibers with TOKONOLE and wax made it look like new again!

Nice edges! I use a wooden burnishing tool that goes into my drill press and turns quickly- it’s invaluable!
The only Chromium Tanned leather in my opinion that will take an edge burnish is Horween Chromexcel.

Томас привет,Я на тебя подписан, много делаю по твоим выкройкам,ты прав что лудшая кожа во всем это Растишка ,легче работать,обрабатывать, захотелось покрасил в любой цвет. Но самое по моему главное это обработка торцов, у Растишка не надо красить, грунтовать, и голову морочить, заполировал и всё, не знаю как тебе переведёт переводчик но я твой фанат.

Man those edges are something else. Ive been using 600 grit. I think maybe thats the problem. That and cutting a straight line... Lol.

Товарищ,
Делая канавку под шов, вы срезаете верхний ЧИСТОВОЙ слой кожи и он будет "белить" между швов, что недопустимо.
Канавку придётся закрашивать, чтобы выглядело статусно.
Лучше использовать беговку - так будет профессиональней.
Удачи.
Ещё, когда вы обращаетесь с посланием к людям, то лучше головной убор (косынка, кепка-жокейка с козырьком) снимать, выказывая тем самым уважение.

It's called tokonole. It is an acrylic resin. You can substitute decoupage glue or acrylic fabric glue.

Kadaise kai tik pradėjau, kol nebuvau atradęs Tokonole bandžiau, jis turi kažkokį savotišką cheminį kvapą, konsistencija irgi nevientisa. Tokonole man žymiai labiau patinka, tiek dėmių nepalieka, ir odos nedirgina, kavpo neturi toks naturalesnis atrado. Dėl spalvų, ne nenaudoju, nes bespalvis universalus ir tinka visoms spalvoms.

Nusipirkau dėl įdomumo tiek juodą, tiek rudą variantą tokonole. Antrą kartą nepirkčiau nei vieno iš jų. Bespalvis atlieka savo darbą idealiai. Juodas gal nebent gali praversti, jei odos tik išorė dažyta juodai, o kraštas šviesus po pjovimo ir norisi vientiso vaizdo.
