      The worst part's that most of the time, it's not really their money; Their label loans them that money but they have to pay it back eventually (for newer rappers that is). That's why so many promising up and coming rappers go broke, they immediatly spend that money on fucking ice that depreciates in value faster than my dad left to go smoke a cig

One of my current clients lives in a 16million dollar home and drives a 2007 Cadillac and his wife a 2008 Lexus. And for those who don't know him, trust me he will be fine with his finances. He's humble, wise, and will put the right people around him. As for the other people who will appear in these episodes...🙏

    • @fgjf1079
      @fgjf1079 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Wrong. It doesn’t all get taxed at 37% . We have tax escalation, which means that ONLY the amount over 500k(assuming he’s filing as Single) gets taxed at 37%. Amounts under 500k get taxes at the lower tax brackets.

    • @fgjf1079
      @fgjf1079 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Victor C Your comment makes sense if we’re talking about earning additional millions above an initial 500k earned. Then yes, all of it gets taxed at 37%. But if you only made 1mil, then you comment is incorrect.

    I like to buy art in the same way that people buy certain cars or watches that don’t lose value, or even appreciate in value. A lot of contemporary art, for example the Kaws vinyl toys, appreciate in value. I buy a piece, get to enjoy owning it and seeing it and showing it to guests in my home, and when I’m ready I sell it for a small profit.

    @JustinHouser 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    🤷‍♂️ maybe my math is wrong, but assuming after taxes, he’s left with $1.4mil, it means he spent $420k (30%). Look:
    $250k (car)
    + $150k (down payment mom house)
    + $7k (vacation)
    + $60k (watch)
    + $10k (necklace)
    + personally shopper (min $500/month)
    + $10k (4 suits)
    + $40k (clothes)
    + $10k (dinner for friends)
    + $10k (paintings)
    + $60k (sisters college)
    = approx $700,000
    🤦‍♂️ Means he’s not only spending 50% on impulse purchases, this doesn’t include normal expenses (I.e housing, food, gas, insurance, agent fees, etc)... 🤦‍♂️

    Cap hit and cap value is referring to how much he counts against the NFL salary cap. Which is figured by getting the average of the signing bonus over the years of the contract (up to 5 years) and adding that to the yearly salary. It is a lot more complicated that that by thats the gist of it.
