    Hello, Freerk, long time subscriber. You have been my favorite blade artist for a very long time, but with this voiceover you have leaped leagues ahead of the competition. Hearing your thoughts and feelings while creating is superb!! (and yes, more complication for you, but a great compliment to your work). Words are not enough, language is too shallow, and I don't have enough thumbs 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍!!!!!

    Would love to see a 13th century or 12th century classic knights sword forged, I've been through all your videos and you've got some that are close.

    Also the auto subtitles work quite nice with your voice it seems. I´m excited for the next videos :)
    I personally hope we get to see alot more medieval and viking style swords, as I like these most of all your work, even tho everything you make is a piece of art.

    My father taught metallurgy & only would do one temper cycle.
    I Am a professional bladesmith, everyone teaching or big name makers that I know state two temper cycles for two hours is necessary for getting all the carbides to from austenite to martensite.
    What do you think about that being that you're not in the US ??

    • @freerkwieringa275
      @freerkwieringa275  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it also depends on the quench. if its done to room tem or to 200 and then directly in the temper oven, then in my opinion one is enough. but a differential flame temper is alway a good idea with big blades like this.
