What’s the temp out rating just on the built in resistor? This design makes me suspicious of a melted housing or socket plug because now you have two sources of heat inside the housing and I know that external resistors can get up to a few hundred degrees melting anything it touches that is plastic or rubber. Seems like these would make your housing very soft if not melt in that area.
Yall do know that you can modify the flasher relay to work with aftermarket LEDs. Once you modify it you cannot use regular bulbs that are high current consumers (anything over 500milliamps will not work). It’s really easy and cost less than 50 cents and no need for stupid high wattage resistors that burn drain lots of current.

I just upgraded to these lights on the front on my 2017 tundra. They work great Initially I thought they weren't going to work because I would get hyper flash with the motor running. I just realized today that I need to fix my rear blinker led bulbs too. I put my incandescent bulbs back in the rear and these work like a charm. Now I just need you guys to make an error free 921 blinker bulb for the back so I dont have to install a resistor! Lol

8 month update, they still work most of the time. They hyperflash only when the headlights are off. When the headlights are on, I never get hyperflash. Since I like the look of these, I went ahead and installed resistors on these as well and they seem to do fine all the time now.

I have a 2016 Toyota Tundra. I just a bought a set from your direct link to Amazon. It came in today, and I installed it today and it doesn't work how you explained it... I tried to flip the socket, and I got nothing, no power. If i plugged it in so there is power. with the car running, the light stay amber, and i notice the brightness dim down after a second or two. And if i turn the headlights on, the bulb goes white. but if turn the switch to running without the headlight on, both the amber and white led comes on. And then if i turn the lights off, it stays amber just like the stock bulbs.

Last question I promise. In the descriptions it says it will go into hyper flash if the light temperature goes too high/hot. Since these are DRL/turn signal lights wouldn't it be too hot and go into hyper flash everytime I use the turn signals since they will be on constantly for being on as DRLs?
Hi, we didn't install these LED bulbs on 2021 Tundra Limited. According to some customers' feedback who own 2010-2019 Tundra, these LED bulbs are not compatible with their trucks. So, we suggest you could try to use the LED bulbs and the load resistor together. If you know where the turn signal flasher relay it is on your truck, you can change a an after-maket relay.
I have a 2016 tundra, the original bulb # is 4157NAK. I try installing the 3157 standard and also 3157CK and neither one of them work. These bulbs was from Lasfit. @@Lasfit-Automotive . I purchase the bulbs from Lasfit directly 3157 standard, it did not work when I plug it in . I turn it around thought it was the contact, it wasn't. It only light Amber. I returned it and got a replacement 3157CK and it did the same thing. I don't know if the 4157NAK bulb is the as the 3157 standard or 3157CK.

I have the 3157 verision. Looks exactly the same. Sadly I had an issue. After 5 mins of use it seems like the bulb gets really hot and just dies. Eventually it cuts all my turn signals from working. I just put the OEM back and works perfect. But its my goal to find good turn signals. Right now im trying out auxito. Waiting for it to arrive. I paid like $40 for those lasfit bulbs. Its really bright do not get my wrong.

Yes, these are DRL and turn signals. A couple of customers feedback these LED turn signals do not work well on 2010 Tundra, some customers feedback it works great on their Tundra. I have the exact same issue. Mine also hyperflash from time to time. It's weird because the hyperflash is inconsistent.

Hi, these switchback LED bulbs are built-in load resistor, no need other resistors. But we don't recommend these LEDs to your Tundra at this moment. Several of customers feedback these LED bulbs were not compatible with their Tundra, hyper flash issue. Even though other customers told these LED bulbs work great on their Tundra.

does anyone know if they got these updated to work?
I have the 3157 verision. Looks exactly the same. Sadly I had an issue. After 5 mins of use it seems like the bulb gets really hot and just dies. Eventually it cuts all my turn signals from working. I just put the OEM back and works perfect. But its my goal to find good turn signals. Right now im trying out auxito. Waiting for it to arrive. I paid like $40 for those lasfit bulbs. Its really bright do not get my wrong.

Actually, we're not sure. According to our customers' feedback, someone told these LED bulbs don't work well on their Tundra. Someone said these LEDs work great without problem. So we think these LEDs still are not compatible with Tundra trip-computer. Would you still like to try it?

Yes, these are DRL and turn signals. A couple of customers feedback these LED turn signals do not work well on 2010 Tundra, some customers feedback it works great on their Tundra. We did the test on Tundra as shown in the video, it worked great without problem 😆 We think it is related to the Tundra's ECU. We don't recommend it to you at this moment
It works for Toyota Tundra 2011 ? I ask because in the description of the item in amazon said that is not compatible with Toyota Tundra 2007-2017 ? So I am confused about it ! I already order it just want to know

It's weird that some customers feedback these LED turn signals hyer flash, but someone don't feedback any problems, who own Toyota Tundra. Hello ! I already get the lights but they only work in white when I’m driving the turn lights are good but when I stop my truck the lights become to amber or both amber and whiter so i don’t know if I need the standard lights or there is something wrong with these CK 3157 that I have

Yes. We have some customers who own 2017 2018 2019 Tundra feedback that these LED bulbs do not work properly on their truck, but other customers said these LED bulbs work well without problem. It is likely to be with the factory trip-comptuter inspection system. So, we don't suggest these LED turn signals to you at this moment.

Also if you have to flip and LED bulb to work just goes to show how cheaply it was design, a great design would allow the bulb to be inserted either way and work due to their circuitry.
No. The 180° switch in polarity is how these CK sockets are meant to work.
Do these lights turn back to amber when placing vehicle into gear?
Yes. You could select the amber (not the switchback)
Cool lights.. I have a 1989 Ford Bronco XLT that uses 3157 bulbs. Do you think I would need the standard socket or the CK? SMH.. Because I just ordered the standard.

What year tundra do u have i see a bunch of people saying they stay amber all the time in drl? But i have a 2019 so i have that white strip would i still have an issue u think?
